I regularly park here when flying out of Midway until November 2, 2019. My wife and I returned home on a cold late night from a trip to Vegas ready to get in our car and drive home. I called the office when we got our bags as was told a driver would be coming. Twenty minutes later, we were still waiting for the shuttle while all the other shuttles were regularly picking up passengers. I called back and was told that the driver had just returned and was on his way. I assume that they have more than one shuttle so that response did not make much sense especially since the lot is less than a half mile from the airport? When we arrived at the lot I was ready to pay and jump in my car, however I did not see my car? The guy said they could not locate my car and asked me to ride around the lot with the driver to locate it. We found the car quickly but the experience soured me. I was told that the guy who checked us in gave me the wrong portion of the ticket which caused the problem. I get it, we all make mistakes but there should not be a series of mistakes in one experience. I asked for a discount for my inconvenience and was not extended one. I'll take my business elsewhere which is disappointing because I enjoyed the price and proximity of Airways Parking. read more

We've been using their service for many years, never an issue with them driving us to the airport, with the pickup and our car was always ready upon us returning. This particular time on 4/2/2022, the driver was rude over the phone when I called in my ticket number very loud and dismissive. There were several people outside waiting for a pickup, I know for sure we were the 3rd couple out there before the others showed up. The driver didn't care to know who called and in what order. it's like take your suitcase to the back, and hop on bus. SMH. No system at all, and our vehicle wasn't waiting when we arrived! We have been parking here for at least 10 years not one problem . I'm thinking it's under new management. Parked there last November 2019, came back from our trip around 1:00 am. They couldn't find our car. Ok, thing happen. We parked there February 5-15. They were great picking us up in no time (coldest night of year) . Husband loaded luggage into car. When I walked out after paying, the front passenger bumper was hanging down! I knew it wasn't like that when we brought it in because I washed car and had dried it off. Looks like something backed into it. Immediately told gentleman inside (John) about it. He took pictures and told me to call corporate. I have been calling everyday and left messages. No response. I don't think we will park here again, after seen other reviews, same thing has happened to a number of other people read more

I recently dropped my truck off for a night and returned to it having multiple dents and a large scratch on the drivers side. I called about this to see how it will be handled to only receive disrespect and unprofessionalism over the phone by their employees, and manager. He said they are not liable for any damage to vehicles, meaning if they crash your vehicle, too bad. He told me that is all that needs to be discussed and would not allow me to talk or ask questions because he hung up on me. I tried calling back but he did not answer my calls. The fact they didn't tell me about the accident, and that I found out the next day (picked up truck at 8:30pm in rain so I didn't notice) proves their unprofessionalism. This place takes no responsibility or liability for anything of yours. Awful customer service, unprofessional, and rude. I would advise parking elsewhere. I purchased and used a VIP Valet Parking Groupon last month since I needed to find a new lot after a terrible experience at Midway Park Saver. I was absolutely thrilled with the service at Airways Parking. I live 45 miles from Midway and got stuck in stop-and-go traffic on the highway. I was in a panic thinking I was going to miss my flight. By sheer luck as I was pulling in, I told the guy I was late and he signaled the shuttle van (which was about to leave) so I could hop on with my tiny carry-on. It was a very short trip to the airport (about 3 or 4 minutes) and I ran to checkpoint before security and luckily got there right as the barriers were being moved around and a new line was being formed. I timed it - from the point of dropping off my car at Airways to being past security was 15 minutes. Yes, 15 minutes. I couldn't believe it. On my return, my scheduled 11:40 pm arrival was over 2 hours late. I thought to myself, great... they probably went home for the night. But they were there! I called as instructed - they ask that you call once you reach the designated pickup point (which is a point right outside the baggage pickup area). The shuttle van was there in 4 minutes and I was at my car (which was in the front of the lot waiting for me) 3 minutes later. SUMMARY: - Both trips (going to/from airport) in the shuttle van were swift. - I really enjoyed being dropped off at the departures door and being picked up right outside the baggage claim. - My car had the exterior washed since I paid extra for it (and they did a great job). - There was no hidden fees for using a Groupon as another Yelper mentioned, only the addition of tax (which was clearly stated on the Groupon) and the cost of an extra day since I was there for 4 days and the Groupon was 3 days. - 5 star experience! read more

Parking in Chicago is notoriously bad, heavily ticketed (instead of putting their people in "Parking Enforcement" vehicles, they're labeled "Department of Revenue"...at least their upfront about it), not included in your hotel stay, and if you choose to park in a garage it's extremely expensive ($50 or more a day is not unusual...several garages offered "$6 first 20 Minutes"...give me a break!). So what's a visitor to do when they come to town for the weekend? Act like a local! Most people living in Downtown Chicago don't have a car and get along just fine. So where to lose a car a I just drove from Bloomington, Indiana? Easy, the same place everyone loses a car: The Airport! The idea was simple: Drop the family off at the hotel, drive out to the airport, park like I'm catching a flight and take a cab back. Simple right? Actually, it was even better in practice. 1. Anyone living in or around Chicago knows there are two airports, Midway and O'Hare...one south and one north. Midway is the smaller of the two, but also the easiest to get to and from, so I chose Midway. 2. After a great experience at a long term parking lot at the Indianapolis Airport last year, I decided anyplace I parked should have free shuttle to the airport for me to catch a taxi and return my car to me washed and ready to go at the end of my stay. A quick Google search and I discovered Airways Parking (http://www.airwayparking.com/). Total bill for 4 days: $66 and my car looked detailed not simply washed. I can't say enough good things about these guys, I will use them again and again! 3. The cab ride didn't happen. Turns out the Orange Line of the train runs straight from Midway to my hotel on State and Lake. $2.25 one way...and another $2.25 to retrieve my car four days later. All in, I had 90 minutes travel and saved $130+ on parking for a car I wasn't going to drive anyway. Brilliant! read more

These guys are great. Closest parking to Midway. Dropped off my truck at 3 am and no problems at all. To the airport in 3 minutes flat. Driver help me load and unload 3 heavy bags. Same on the way back. On my return they were waiting at the pickup point by the time I got there. Truck was pulled up and running to get it warmed up. Yeah they were a little surly but this is Chicago and it's a family run business the only one at Midway airport. You want corporate friendliness go somewhere else but you'll pay for it. Don't let the other reviews scare you away. Best prices in the area. read more

My wife and I parked here for two days and our experience was average, but they could be nicer about everything. When we pulled in at dusk, there were two shady looking men in black coats standing outside. One stared at me for a few minutes, and the other slowly walked over and said "When are you picking it up?" in a sharp tone. No hi, or banter. After the cold, quick exchange of information pertaining to the ticket and costs, one would have thought that I had gravely inconvenienced the man for parking there. We got into the shuttle immediately and sat in the van that needed to be cleaned and I think had ripped seats. The attendant was normal, then we got to the airport. No fuss. When we landed, we got our luggage and I called for a pickup. There were a few other customers outside waiting for the same van, so we all made it in, but barely. I was a bit nervous that we weren't all going to fit. As we got into the lot, I walked into the office to pay. The man on the inside was a lot nicer, talkative, and had a general professional business demeanor. I paid the posted fee on the wall ($14/day) without any problems. I give 3 stars because it's just average. Next time I park, I'll pay a bit extra to get a more polished parking experience. read more

Very convenient as it's probably less than a 5 minute ride to midway. The morning (drop off) process is easy. When it comes to the pick up these guys are slow and VERY rude. I have used this place many times because of the close proximity to midway but each time i need to wait up to 30 minutes for the shuttle back to my car. Just this past week I waited over 30 minutes for the ride and when the van arrived there were so many of us waiting not everyone got a ride. They say they have multiple vans performing pick ups but considering the close proximity it should never take more than 10 minutes for a pickup if this was true When you call for the pick up the guy who answers is quite rude and when calling back for pickup status the guy yells at you. If you like standing on the platform watching other vans come and go while you wait for yours, enjoy yourself. This is the last time for airways unless they get a new night (pickup crew). It's too bad the morning crew doesn't work the nights. read more

RE: damage to vehicle that Airways refuses to acknowledge or correct. We have used Airways to park at Midway dozens of times over many years without an issue until this occasion. We picked up our vehicle late last night and this morning noticed a large area of deep scratching (almost etching) on the driver's side of the front windshield. It appears the window was scraped with something that caused this scratching after this week's snow/ice storm before we picked up our car. My husband called, left a message, and received a call back that there was nothing that can be done....Airways is not responsible for any damage to a car left in their care. All I know is that there was no damage to the car when we dropped it off and this occurred while the car was parked there. We will continue to follow up on this, but most definitely not ever use Airways again. I understand that mistakes happen, but Airways refusal to make this right is unacceptable. read more

All I heard when the shuttle arrived was " give bags"! When we got back, my truck was so dirty it was impossible to have been parked inside. This was the first time using this parking lot and I was very impressed. They are conveniently located close to the airport. I used to love love love love this place. Zoom up 20min before flight, they rush you up, you breeze through security (how is MDW so amazingly efficient? heaven!) But I think they now have new owners. The vans have changed (which are fine) but the staff seem stressed, disorganized, inefficient and cold. **and you will get ripped off** (a) shuttle was about 15min late after we called. It was a busy day given lots of cancelled flights (thunderstorm)? --- ok, maybe if that was the only thing. (b) When we got in I gave the driver my ticket (my cell had died so I didn't call ahead of time--other passengers I was waiting with had). Driver was rude, and then finally did call it in, but no one at home base answered. Busy night? ok, again, maybe. (c) I watched TWO people ahead of me get ripped off, and maybe I was too! (i) "That's $36." "huh? it's less than 24 hours." "it's after midnight" "right, but it's less than 24 hours..." "oh, ok sorry I will refund you." (ii) "That's $96." "what? I was gone only 5 days." "yes, but it's after midnight" ... the customer proceeds to calculate everything. the guy is still trying to be dumb.. "5*16 is.... oh, ok $80, sorry I refund you." (iii) now me-- "oh, so i will be careful now..." "right, it's less than 24 hours" "oh, so it's..... [looks at me]" "$16" "Right, yes, $16.". I now realize it might have been less since it was only about 10 hours. Should have let him say the #. Again, maybe it was a busy night. Poor customer service. Went to pick my car up and they had scheduled the wrong date so it had not been washed before our arrival. When I asked the employee what had happened, his response was "you haven't paid for anything yet... so, it's fine.. we just won't charge you for the wash". I have been a customer of Airways parking for 10 years. Over the years they've earned my trust and I know my car is in good hands with them. They offer a free shuttle service to and from the lot, they are prompt with pick up. I've never had to wait longer than 5 mins for pick up. They provide other services such as a car wash. Upon your return they will have your car prepared and warmed up for you. On my last trip I left my car for 6 days, the guys are so sweet they changed my windshield wipers Thank you!! If you ever travel out of midway I highly recommend Airways Parking. They offer lower rates online, better than any other lot in the area including midway economy airport parking. Excellent service and economical! First, it compares well pricewise with Midway's own parking. But it's so much more convenient because you get door-to-door, speedy service from the frequent shuttle vans. It appears to be a family business. The gentlemen who work there are serious but very courteous and helpful. They go the extra mile for customers. We've used Airways services for a number of years - most recently yesterday - and each time we've been pleased. I know 5 stars seems extreme but the convenience and the kindness of the staff just bowled me over yesterday! So yes, 5 stars! read more

I have been parking for Airways for over 10yrs and in the last year I have increased my parking to almost 3 weeks a month. I have a new Equus and now I have found on returning to my car the movies are playing, the mileage has increased during away and now large scratched on my hood from people putting luggage on my vehicle. The manager has not addressed my concerns and will not pay for damages. DO NOT PARK AT AIRWAYS PARKING!!! They are inconsiderate, rude, and don't care for your vehicle... Overall was convenient and pricing reasonable, have not had issues in the past, but when I picked up my car this time, I found crumbs on the seat and a wrapper on the floor that was not mine. Over the years I have parked at Airways and then changed to another establishment and recently, because of proximity, returned to using Airways. I was shocked when I went to pick up my car last night just how rude I was treated. My husband who had returned also last night from a business meeting, said that when he had also picked his car up just how rude the person handling the monies had been- he had to wait on line so he observed not only his interaction but that of several other consumers as well. Rudeness and arrogance in a consumer business really doesn't work, as they lost 2 customers last night. The drivers have always been polite and helpful. Also, beware they are charging 2$ per SUV- I am taking my business elsewhere .....let us see if they last when the new economy parking for Midway opens closer to the airport.... read more

we pulled in the parking lot, it was a cluster, the employee began yelling at a women in another car. She was trying to figure out where to park, it was awful to witness, his tone, cursing, rudeness, truly over the top. This same behavior was noted by most of the employees and did not exclude other customers. Snapped at us to say pickup trucks cost more to park. Once that was resolved we were on our way to the airport. When we returned to midway, we waited for the van, it was full and had to wait another full trip, 15 + minutes. Airways employees park all vehicles and then return the cars to the entrance. When we returned to the parking lot, our truck was no where in site. While in the office, the employee stated $156.00, we were there for 2 days, they had the wrong truck. Waited 15 more minutes while they looked for our truck. I totally understand staffing issues and being overwhelmed but their behavior was unacceptable . No apologize for the wait, bringing us the wrong truck etc. heard him say to another person " we don't need your f****** business. Yikes!!!!!! I was nervous. We were told we had been moved to this site after booking at another. I read the reviews and thought it wouldn't be good. After speaking with an owner, I decided to give it a try anyway. It went well. Our car was parked in an indoor garage, a very close shuttle took us to the airport and then when we arrived back in Chicago - the shuttle came quick where it said to wait. First, I just want to say that I have NEVER felt so strongly about giving a company a bad review. I went to pick up my car tonight at Airways parking. I had purchased a groupon and when I dropped off my car, told them, and asked if it would be honored. Absolutely, they say. When I picked up my car however, they refused, saying that the groupon doesn't start until mid January. The manager then refused to have a conversation, jumped in his van, and sped off. I have never had any company with such poor customer service, and also just flat out lie about honoring a certain price. Please stay away from this place!!!! read more

I have been parking here for over 15 years now. The service the last four times I have used them has been terrible. They are rude and the wait times for the pick up vans are over 20 minutes. You call them and ask them where the van is and they just do not care. You go in and pay and they act like they are doing you a favor taking your money. PHONE STOLEN OUT OF CAR. I accidentally left my phone in my car, and confirmed I left it in my car via find my iPhone app once I got thru security. I got back to my car to find the phone was gone. There was also a large dent in the driver-side door. I complained to the manager who was rude and said the dent was already there. He pointed to a sheet of paper marking a dent in the drivers side door, which he clearly had just done using the same blue pen in his hand. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They are thieves. read more

Reasonably priced parking by Midway and great service. We came back after a snowstorm and our car was warmed up and cleaned off so we could drive right away. The shuttle is very prompt, too, and picks you up within 10 minutes of calling. read more

I too used to love this place. However, the last 2 times I have parked here (March 2014 and April 2014) I have been ripped off with the pricing and when I addressed this with the staff they made up silly excuses that clearly made no sense. Case in point: (April 2014) I dropped off my car at 5 am- my husband picked it up the SAME DAY by 9 am (less than 4 hours later) but they refused to give him the car until he paid the 24 hour fee. When he asked why he wasn't being charged the 'short term parking' fee they made up some crap about this situation not being eligible for short term rates- the car was only there less than 4 hours- how much shorter term can parking get????? I have parked here about six (6) times. The first time was because the limo we had broke down in our driveway and we were in a desperate hurry to get to the airport. Airways was the first we came to - I do like the convenience. One time, I was picking up my elderly mother from the airport and I parked, got a shuttle to go to the airport and meet her and returned back in about an hour. I was only charged a couple of dollars. My last trip was the first of this month, I believe I was charged a bit more than I should have been. I was explaining I had a reservation and was told I was paying the reservation price. I had the info in my suitcase (buried somewhere of course), which was already loaded into the trunk of my car so I couldn't verify. I will be parking again for a Christmas Vacation for nine (9) days. I will pay more attention to the drop-off and pick-up times to make sure I am getting the best rate. I have found other parking areas that are "cheaper" but they don't seem to be as convenient. read more

We waited 25 minutes while all the employees told us they were bringing our car. They acted like we were a bother for even asking for our car several times after many other people after us came and got their cars no problem. They never told us there was an issue. They were actually trying to jump our car without our knowledge. We only found this out when we went looking for our car. When they parked the car someone hit the trunk button which drained our battery on our Jeep Cherokee. They blamed us even though we did not park the car, they valeted the car. I would never use this lot again just due to how the employees blames us for everything and could care less that we were stranded without a car. If you make a mistake just own it. Airways parking employees made this problem 100% worse than it needed to be. It you park here beware of incompetent people and good luck with your car. read more
