If I could give this company zero stars I would. I scheduled them to come out to our new house before we moved in because we had access to the house. The owner Gerald said no need to come out they know what to do. He told me I needed to have an electrician come out first. So I hired an electrician. When the electrician came out he asked me where to install the power boxes. I told him I didn't know and called the owner of Airzona HVAC. Gerald said he thought I should know. I'm not the expert he is supposed to be. I had to send him pics to tell me where to put the power boxes. The night before the install Gerald sent me an email saying the outside lines do not come with a cover. So now I had to purchase the line covers separately. So I did or it would look horrible. The day the guys show up to install they tell me the side of the house needs more dirt to level the units. I told the installers that it would have been easier if Gerald came out to the house weeks ago to figure this all out. Apparently the installer told Gerald what I said. Gerald calls me on the phone telling me he heard I was blaming him and said he no longer wants to do business with me. I explained to him that yes he should have came out to the house and all of these problems would have been avoided. Now I am in a new house and no ac in my garage thanks to Gerald being lazy and letting his ego get to him. He also told me I just wanted a cheap price and something fast. But what I really wanted was a good price and quality service with good customer service and obviously Gerald lacks the skills to bite his tongue and be nicer to his customers. A little better communication and doing an in person estimate could have fixed all of this. I would not recommend using this company. read more

You know how when you find good people, it's evident? Good people have a certain way they talk, a certain way they walk, a certain way they help you through things. Gerald and his team, (which I think consists mostly of his family) are just plain good people. We had the unfortunate circumstance to have both of our A/C units experience issues in the summer of 2020 (of course, need I say more?). By the time we started talking with Gerald, I had already been on an a/c contractor parade. I buy nothing that will cost 10k+ without shopping around, so we're talking Excel spreadsheet comparison with all the different quotes, ideas, suggestions, etc... (Side note: if you'd like my spreadsheet, shoot me a message and I'll happily send it over). I can say Gerald wasn't the least expensive option on the list, but was definitely one of the better prices, and his company offered a labor warranty that was 2.5x longer than the next closest installer. Bang for the buck-- this was a no-brainer. On install day his team showed up and they're delightful. I can't imagine working in 100+ degree heat in an attic all day, so I honestly couldn't be more thankful. They're polite, informative and again, just plain good people. I watched our old stuff hit the road and the new stuff come in, and wow. Totally awesome. Yelp tells me this review is pretty epic (their words), but really it's these guys who are pretty epic. I had a pre-season inspection done and was very impressed. The Tech called earlier than expected and I was ready and appreciated his early arrival. He did a thorough job and recommended I use less restrictive air filters than the one installed. Among my favorite companies to work with are Costco, Discount Tire, and now Air-zona Air Conditioning. Other Techs could learn a lot from this company of professionals and for an equal or better service fee. read more

Wow am I impressed! Today I had the pleasure of experiencing a true professional installation of my new Ameristar Heat Pump and Reehm Hot Water Heater by a team from AirZona HVAC. The two Gentlemen Gerald and Scott arrived on time and looking professional. We reviewed the project and they answered the few questions I had confidently and professional. Gerald and Scott then went about removing my 20+ year old Mobile home system and replacing it. The work went very smoothly and everything was cleaner then when they arrived! My previous HVAC company checked my unit and told me nothing was wrong "it was just hot." Well, that is not an answer so I had to look elsewhere. Very pleased to meet Gerald with AirZona. These folks were polite and informative over the phone, on time for their appointment and thorough in explaining their findings; in my case, I needed to purchase a new A/C unit. Gerald explained some of my options and what he would do in my situation then gave me a price. When your A/C unit goes out in the summer, all you really want is to have it fixed so you don't "shop" to find the best deal. However, the price quoted was about $2,000 less than I had paid 11 years earlier so I was very content to proceed. Two days later AirZona installed my new Trane unit and I am pleased that everything is back to normal. Gerald and his team were on time, professional, polite and clean. Unknown to us was the condition of our AC unit. We recently moved in and the unit passed inspection because it was working and giving out excellent air temps. The unit did not fit the roof support so it vibrated and scraped the new shingles which leaked into our attic and onto the living room ceiling, creating stains. This was after the roofer came and shared this info with us. We needed help and AirZona HVAC came to the rescue. We now have a new Trane heat pump. A new roof frame fits the unit. Gerald's team installed our new heat pump. There was a delay when they unwrapped the unit to find dents from the factory forklift. They would not accept the damaged unit for which I thank them. Who knows what damage lies under the frame? We have a wonderful unit and a WiFi controlled thermostat. Clean up was great. The crane operator went above and beyond in insuring the unit was safely on the roof. We thank AirZona for their wonderful service and products. read more

I was very impressed as Gerald and his team. I had him come out and look over my air ducts due to one of my rooms not being cooled properly. Not only did he reattached a disconnected duct but he also disconnected an attic fan that the previous owner had left attached so as not to cause any future electrical fires.
