As others have noted, there is free parking and the office staff are friendly. We took our daughter there for years and were basically happy. However, I would not recommend if your child develops anything more complicated than bronchitis. When our daughter became ill with what at first appeared to be a "stomach flu" but persisted for several weeks, they minimized her suffering, told us she would be fine and to come back in a week if she was still having problems. They did not take us seriously even as our daughter lost weight and stopped being able to eat without feeling nauseous. We saw two different doctors there in addition to our primary doc because the primary was never available after the first visit. Eventually (more than three weeks after our first visit), after they finally sent her for tests, they found she was, in fact ill and it was serious after she went more than three weeks without help. Fast forward a few months and she started having different symptoms. They again minimized her symptoms and told us to come back if it continued. This time, I took her to a different doc in a different practice because I had had enough. The new doctor worriedly sent her for tests on her first visit and found that she had developed another serious condition that was brought on by her previous illness. I'm not listing the doctors' names in here because we saw three different doctors during this ordeal. The one that finally ordered the tests was Dr. Fillipo, if that helps, but we only saw him once and that was three weeks after our first visit. I rarely write reviews and typically avoid writing negative reviews, and as long as your child is normal and healthy, you will probably be fine here. It's a huge bonus that they have urgent care- so many kid issues require last minute appointments and we've never had trouble getting in. Appointments do not feel super rushed. It's cleaner than most doctors offices I've been too. The only down side is during busy times (like after school) the waiting room is packed with sick kids sitting really close to you. All in all though, good quality healthcare is really hard to find these days, and they are doing it pretty well here.

My son has active insurance and Swedish is in the network, but for some reason, the clinic did not send any claim to the insurance and the billing department sent us a bill of $340.00 for this visit. They sent us this bill every month (3 times so far) and each time we contacted the billing department and the clinic, and they supposed to fix it, but we were surprised with a new bill every month. We contacted the insurance company several times and they said we did not receive any claim from Swedish. Also, I checked my insurance account online and I do not see any claim from Swedish pediatric clinic. Finally, we paid $340.00 OUT OF POCKET for just annual wellness check. I scheduled this appointment 2-3 months in advanced and the clinic scanned my son's insurance card. They have enough time to verify the insurance. (this is active insurance), Now, 3 months after the appointment, they still did not send any claim to the insurance, and I end up paying $340.00 out of pocket. I am really disappointed with this clinic; I never go there again or recommend it to anybody.

I did some research and seemed pretty happy with the doctors at Virginia Mason. I picked the one that seemed to come the most recommended by other parents and magazines. After a few initial visits, we weren't completely happy with that doctor and voiced some concerns. Lucky for us, the doctors here understand that child care is a touchy field and have no problem trying to find the best doctor for your situation. We had our appointment with Dr. Berson and have never looked back. Dr. Berson has a very calming bedside manner. He's very knowledgeable and has always been available whenever we needed him. He doesn't mind answering questions and giving his honest opinion but does support any decisions you make. The Virginia Mason pediatric facility is beautiful too. They are secluded, which is really nice. A brand new remodel and layout. The staff there has been great too. We had a serious problem with one of the temps there early on but since then, we're never had another issue and have always had really kind reception and caring nurses. He's outstanding with young children - he gets on their level, explains what is going on (even lets them check out his stethoscope!) and speaks to them in a way that made our toddlers look forward to visiting the doctor's office. He's extremely current on medical research and the latest standards of practice (which changes often in prenatal care), and he went above and beyond to research various questions we had.
