This is my last time going to this location. I got a facial by Shano. Not only did she do a poor job, she got the 24k skin polish all in my hair and it dyed a patch of my hair blonde. My hair is black so her remedy was to mix up some black dye and put it on there and tell me to go home and wash it out. I asked her if it was dye and she said no. I got back to my car and wiped the spot with a paper towel and sure enough it was Black dye! It was very careless to get the skin polish in my hair (at the top) and you're supposed to be doing a facial. She also didn't wipe all of the facial mask off my face and neck. There was residue all down my neck and ears. Pitiful. read more

I am extremely disappointed with the management and professionalism of this salon. Every time I visit, the atmosphere is uncomfortable because the two employees constantly argue with each other, especially over which one gets to serve incoming customers. As a customer, it is very awkward to witness staff fighting in front of clients. Another major issue is that appointments are not respected. I book an appointment because I expect my service to be completed in a reasonable amount of time. Instead, while I am waiting during my appointment--for example, while my hair color is processing or while I am in the middle of a facial--the stylist who is serving me repeatedly stops to take walk-in customers. This significantly delays my appointment and leaves me waiting much longer than necessary. Customers with appointments should be prioritized, and better scheduling and management are clearly needed. There is also a serious issue with professionalism among the staff. One employee, Samina, has repeatedly eavesdropped on private conversations between me and my stylist. On one occasion, she interrupted and was extremely rude to me simply because she disagreed with something I had said, even though I was not speaking to her. Her behavior was completely inappropriate and unprofessional. Overall, the salon lacks proper management, organization, and customer service. The constant conflict between employees, failure to respect appointments, and unprofessional interactions create an unpleasant experience. I hope management addresses these issues so customers can receive the respectful and timely service they deserve. read more

Went for a blow dry my hair. They blow out my hair without wetting it. my hair was dry already. They didn't wet my hair nor washed my hair. She started blow drying my dry hair. When I asked she replied it was better that way. They charge me $40 for a blow dry. It didn't last at all. It was flat before one hour. Very very disappointing in their work. Did like it an all. My first service was good, younger lady. Very nice, welcoming as well. Perfect eyebrow shape she did for me. Second time same young lady, but she seemed like she didn't want to be there that day. She took off way too much and made my eyebrows thinner than what I anticipated. I told her to stay away from my inner brows because I feel like that always tug the corners while threaded the Unibrow. Third time and might be my last, a different lady, a bit older I told her to just clean up and to again, stay away from the center. She was so heavy handed it hurt so bad! She cut my lid and it has yet been healed. I would give it a one star, but because the first time was great I gave it an extra star. While doing my eyebrows she informed me that I had no hair growth in a specific area. I didn't think anything of it because I assumed she was talking about hair below me eyebrow so I brushed it off. First impression: 5 mins from home, Clean Salon, Staff use a Glove (yes, just one), $7 eyebrows and no men allowed. Still won't change my mind to coming back here! For the past 12 years, Threading is all I do for my eyebrows. The type of thread use for Threading really makes a difference. There are certain type of threads that will make threading painful and not to mention minor burn or cut your eyelids. Which I re experienced at Aisha. It's been awhile that Threading was this painful. Thanks to Samina, my eyebrows are crooked and THIN. I asked for a CLEAN UP and she gave one eyebrow a high arch and the other no arch. I am adventurous when it comes to trying new places, but don't be adventurous with your eyebrows. 3 years later my eyebrows are finally on "fleek" after going to another Salon in the galleria area (cost me 3 times as much) and having my eyebrows destroyed. Kessey has taken great care of me through the years and helped repair the damage my eyebrows experienced. I go here every 3 weeks to get my eyebrows threaded and my underarm wax. I usually go to Sofia or the new lady in the back. The new lady is really good, although not many people know that yet. The reason why I give 3 stars is because I have tried underarm, leg, and only one time bikini wax from there. I will attest that Sofia does the best waxing out of all the stylists there. BUT DO NOT GET A BIKINI WAX THERE. THEY ARE NOT EXPERIENCED IN THAT AREA. THEY ACTUALLY TORE MY LABIA BECAUSE THEY THEIR WAX IS NOT SOFT ENOUGH FOR THAT SENSITIVE AREA. Love, love, LOVE the ladies at Aisha Salon at this location! I've only gone here for eyebrow and upper lip threading, so that's all that I can attest to. I come in here every 3 weeks to "clean up" what I can no longer keep at bay with tweezers (having dark hair sucks because once the little hairs start growing in, they're hard to get). Usually there's a little bit of a wait, but it's not too, too bad, maybe about 10 minutes on average for me. You can even call ahead to make an appointment, yes, even for threading. :) I usually call ahead to see how long the wait is for my favorite people - either Leela, who I see the most, or Aaliyah. All the ladies who work here are very nice, but I like Leela's hand at it (she's not heavy with the pressure). It's $7 for eyebrows and $3 for upper lip. And just to note for all the threading virgins, yes it will sting a little, tears may form, or you may have to sneeze. It still happens to me. Though I will say, if you go regularly, it doesn't hurt as bad after awhile. If you wait too long in between visiting, in my experience, it hurts. Seen the reviews of the other locations, but I hope and am interested to see more reviews for this one. read more

OMG! Kessey is THE best! This is my closest location to my home and I am so glad I took the chance. I used to get my brows done at Hilcroft and Sugar Land locations, but since moving Kessey makes sure I am a happy gal! All of their locations are great.
