I went here and asked the lady for a full face wax and she sat me down. Then before she did my eyebrows i asked if she could leave my eyebrows natural and only clean around them. Once she finished my eyebrows she gave me the mirror and my eyebrows were way thinner than before and the shape was different. Only reason I keep coming here is because it's close to my house and they do a really GOOD job. So I'm rating it a 5 star BUT READ BELOW. BUT 1: You'll wait forever. 2: Even if you call for an appointment they will make you wait. During COVID I assured my grandma she'll be fine they told me on the phone it'll be just us and I set an appointment and she told me I was one min early to my appointment and I have to wait ten mins ? WHAT? How does that make sense, 3: Work office ours my only time I can make it is 6pm, they close at 7. Tell me why the doors are locked and the signs closed in multiple occasions (not even a Holiday). 4: If it's the weekend, shouldn't there be more than one person here? I'm currently sitting here waiting, got here opening time 10am sharp. She told me ten mins, it's been 40 mins. And to be honest this happens EVERY TIME I come, and I have come multiple times different times to see when works best for them. 5: Before Covid, One lady once had the audacity to ask me why I come at 6? Ummmm you close at 7? And I work OFFICE HOURS when else could I come, you aren't even staffed correctly. Anyways I can go on forever about this because my experiences with them have never been positive. Minus the fact that they do my eyebrows really well. But this salon is not work friendly for anyone with a job or for ladies who travel. And never staffed correctly. ^so I was going to post all this above on multiple occasions and I stopped myself but here I am sitting here with another attempt of mine to get my eyebrows done. If you're going to visit a chain threading salon, this is absolutely the best location in the area. I have often left other salons disappointed in the lack of artistic care given to creating eyebrow shape, but all the women I have encountered here pay equal attention to hair removal AND shape, which is very important. I particularly like this salon because the stylists will ask you questions (i.e. Is this is a natural lack of hair growth in this particular area that I should know about, or is this a one time thing?) and give you tips (i.e. Wait 6 weeks before you come back so we can improve the shaping even more next time). I find this type of interaction rare at most chain locations. Yes, they might take a phone call while you are in their service, but that is the culture here. But after dozens of visits here, I'm convinced the people hired here have great threading knowledge that results in a relatively painless and very satisfactory job. The salon is very clean and its clear that the owners try very hard to keep improving the atmosphere. I have only come to this location a few times and only for eyebrow threading. The only reason I even bothered to come here is because it is near my job. However, I will not be returning to this beauty salon again. I have always paid with my debit card at Nisha's and it was never a problem until they changed there policy. They require cash for purchases under $10. The first time I was a little upset because they had failed to put signs that warned customers of the new policy. I never carry cash so I was charged $10 for a service that is usually $7. No exception was given for my lack of knowledge, which is bad customer service. I was already planning on never returning. Unfortunately this place is the closest to my job and I decided to suck it up. I even stopped for cash and everything. I go in to the salon and see two other customers waiting. I ask them if there's anybody working and they said there were two ladies and they were both in one of the rooms in the back. I wait 15 minutes and finally I see an employee. She threads one of the ladies eyebrows and disappears again for another 15 minutes. I was hoping to be in and out within less than 30 minutes. So I just left without ever being acknowledged. My third and final attempt at coming to this establishment I walked in and was worried because once again there was no employee insight. Luckily, one of the ladies came out of a room and did my eyebrows. This time I brought cash ($6 in dollar bills and $1 in quarters). When I go to pay the lady says "No coins!" I say it's only a dollar in quarters. and she says "NO coins!". So once again I am charged $10 for a $7 service. I would have tipped her the extra three dollars had she provided good customer service. Instead she was rude and short with me. I will continue going to Aisha's where they do a much better job and they accept my debit card. Nisha's you need to hire a greeter/cashier in the very least. read more

I've been coming here for years. The woman who I used to use no longer works there, but I've been going to ZOHRA for a year now and she keeps my eye brows on point. Stick with her. She does a good job. If you have a problem with your eyebrow she will correct it for you and will explain why she is leaving some of the hair alone. The two ladies I used no longer worked there so I was bouncing around with whoever was there. Unfortunately this caused my eyebrows to look uneven. After having sat with zohra she corrected them and I've never used anyone else since. And I get tons of compliments on them! Check her out! I LOVE this salon and I can't believe it's taken me so long to write a review! I've been coming here with my mom and sister for over 5 years now for threading and other services. Madiha is my go-to for skin care and threading. I recently had micro-needling done as I've suffered from adult acne scars for a while now and I felt like I had tried everything! She explained the quick process and showed me the lasting results she's had with her own skin. In the past I tried Fraxel Laser treatment, through a dermatologist here in Houston, and I saw very little results from all the pain endured. Micro-needling is WAY more effective and on a pain scale from 1-10 (with 10 being very painful) it's only about a 4 after the medical grade numbing cream she applies prior to treatment. It's also very sanitary as you purchase your own pen. We talked skin care for the 45 minutes to an hour it took. It's been about 4-6 weeks since my first treatment and the results are REAL! This salon is great - the location is perfect and parking is always available. The only reason I have continued coming back here for the last 4 years is because of Naseem - she is the main lady who greets you with a smile when you walk in and she is soooo professional. I have been to at least 20 other salons to get threaded, but when Naseem does it - she is soo good and thus it is not as painful. She shapes your brow in the right way, sometimes you want it shaped a certain way but she will give you advice based on your face and thus you know she knows what she is doing. She does all my waxing as well and it is quick, painless, and she will talk to you while she waxes almost to distract you from any discomfort! If you haven't tried a facial here, call Zuby right now and make an appointment, you won't be sorry. She is the sweetest and kindest person, I have had the pleasure of meeting. I tend to have really sensitive skin and turn red easily. Zuby took really good care of me today. Before I even said I'm sensitive, she had already pulled out the sensitive facial products and told me not to worry she would take it slow and see how my skin reacted. Decided to come to the 90 and 99 location (McDonald's parking lot) to try eyebrow threading for the first time. There only seemed to be 1 person working but being a Monday morning, I only waited about 10 minutes. Overall it was a good experience, the woman was friendly and reminded me of their Monday special 50% off all facials, if I had more time I would have tried one. No complaints on my eyebrows, she was fast and efficient. Can't beat $7, they do have a sign posted about a $10 minimum on all credit card transactions but I had cash so no issue there. Depends on who you get. The older woman is pretty good, but last time I was there a younger lady waxed my upper lip and left me a four day burn! It was painful and was no fun to walk around "wearing" this mark. Be sure to tell them to be careful not to burn you too if you get waxing. They do good threading though. read more

I give only one star for the ambiance, everything else is the worst. I walked in to get eyebrows and upper lip threaded and under arms wax. The ladies were so persistent and honestly desperate for customers. I was instructed to sit in the first chair, and waited a couple of mins for my lady to finish counting money. After counting money, she immediately started on my eyebrows, not even sanitizing her hands. After working for not even a minute, she slapped on gel, didn't even trim. Then, she proceeded to wax my upper lip (which is not what I ordered). First off, it was steaming hot, burned my skin- she didn't even check! AND THEN she picked up waxing paper FROM THE FLOOR that was soaked in nasty mop water, and proceeded to place it on the wax- I said heck no, that was on the floor. She sighed and got a clean one. I couldn't even make it to the last service. I couldn't stand being in there another second. I hurried to pay, and she begged to continue and said it'll only take 2 minutes- the worst thing to say, I wasn't going to pay for another rushed/half ass service. For people that actually work for their money, and intend on going to a salon for quality service- be warned! Anywhere is better than here.
