In hindsight sight I'm sure AMERICAN HOME SHIELD was unhappy about replacing my furnace but not without tacking on a $1000 charge for a vent. It was getting cold and I was in no position to argue. Greenway was called to service my AC very recently. My unit is 23 years old. Full disclosure, 23 years ago my dog urinated on the unit causing visible damage. Obviously since I did everything I could to mitigate that damage, the unit continued to serve me well for over 20 years. First thing Greenway did was photograph and document the damage. Causing AMERICAN HOME SHIELD to deny my claim. I promptly called AMERICAN HOME SHIELD to attempt to reason with them. They blamed it on Greenway. I called Greenway and they blamed it on AMERICAN HOME SHIELD. I'm a senior citizen. I will not be taken advantage of by those crooks at AMERICAN HOME SHIELD. I have since fired both AMERICAN HOME SHIELD(seniors don't waste your money) and Greenway PHC. I want to say I stand by my last review of Greenway. They did a fantastic job on my furnace it's just too bad they are affiliated with an unscrupulous home warranty company like AMERICAN HOME SHIELD.

He has made no attempt to reconcile. He lied to me for 4 days that he would return to finish. On the 5th day I called another plumber so the job cost me double what he bid it for. I went 4 days without a stove in my house because he failed to install a shut off valve as contracted to do. He does have a plumbers licence in Indiana but I can find no record of such in Michigan. I filed a complaint with the Berrien County Sheriffs Department but the Prosecutor declined to prosecute. I won a judgment in small claims court. I would beware of this company especially if you are a senior citizen.

My boiler kept going out, and Marty (who is very personable, informative, and honest) was an absolute pleasure to do business with. He was very conservative with his approach, fixing the cheapest possible cause first. He ordered an expensive part and kept it in his, so in case the first round of repairs was not enough to fix the malfunction, he could come over quickly and get my heat back on without any delays. Luckily, that first thing wound up fixing the issue, and I didn't have to pay for what would turn out to be an unnecessary, much costlier repair. It doesn't hurt that the company has very customer-friendly policies: responsive 24 hour service (not just lip service), no diagnostic charge if a repair exceeds the cost of the visit, and no charge for any subsequent visits for the same problem within 30 days. Trustworthy, reliable repair is notoriously hard to find, but I've found it here!
