We had a broken window. Jesse came out within two hours the same day and had it fixed within an hour at a reasonable price.

AMAZING! Backstory: I needed a new garage side door from…read moreyears of damage and it being a junky hollow door. I thought I could fix it myself but opt'ed to get a professional... SURE GLAD I DID! I did not realize how much I did not know about "doors"! I can't believe I didn't not do this sooner! James was super professional and direct. Great pricing and quality of work speaks for itself. Everything was done in just a few hours! I am excited to be working with James again on getting more projects done in the near future.

We'd been having issues with our entry door for a while. The door is more than 80 years old. And…read morenow, it had started rubbing against the side wall and no longer sat evenly in the frame. It was clear it was time for a replacement. Before choosing James, I got a quote from a very popular windows and doors company in Orange County. James, the owner of Lucero's Windows and Doors, not only offered the best price but was also extremely responsive. He mentioned that he previously worked as a Home Depot installer, which gave me confidence that he was properly trained. I was initially cautious because of the low number of reviews, but the consistent perfect scores from other customers made me optimistic. Now, after working with him, I can confidently say that Lucero's Windows and Doors is the real deal. Because our home required a custom-sized door, James came out twice to take measurements. After about two weeks, the custom entry door arrived, and he completed the installation in a single day. He told me our home was one of the oldest he's worked on, and the walls were very different from newer builds. Despite the challenges, he made everything fit perfectly, and the final result looks fantastic. We no longer feel a draft under the door, and it swings smoothly without any issues.

I highly recommend this business to anyone :)

(This review includes a response to the business owner's reply)…read more I had a deeply disappointing experience with Paul's Windows, and I want to share it so that other homeowners know what to expect before working with this company. I reached out for a small bedroom window replacement and had one key requirement: that the new window, once installed, provide a minimum clear opening height of 13 inches. The sales associate, Art, confirmed via text that the manufacturer (Crystal Pacific) said it would: 13.1875", in fact. That was fine by me. But when I asked for that specification to be confirmed in the contract, in writing, Art refused. Let me be clear: I wasn't asking for a personal warranty on the product. I simply wanted confirmation that the installed window, as ordered and managed by Paul's Windows, would meet the functional requirement I had clearly communicated. Art repeatedly deflected, referring to "what the manufacturer said," but was unwilling to take responsibility for the result. When I asked for accountability, he became dismissive and eventually walked away from the job. I contacted Paul directly, hoping for a more professional response. Instead, I received a generic brush-off and a claim that the window wouldn't meet the specs, which contradicts what their own sales associate had already confirmed. Worse, Paul didn't acknowledge or engage with any of the valid concerns I raised around basic customer service, transparency, or professional responsibility. Ultimately, I wasn't asking for anything unreasonable. I was hiring a company to manage a job and deliver a specific result. If something went wrong, say, the manufacturer provided a window that didn't meet the spec, it would be on the contractor to resolve it, not on me to go chase down the supplier. That's what any responsible company would do. But Paul's Windows made it clear they don't see it that way. If you're okay with vague communication, contractors who won't stand behind their own work, and potentially being left to deal with problems on your own, maybe this company is fine. But if you want clarity, professionalism, and accountability in writing, then look elsewhere. § Paul's response below is a classic damage control move -- polite on the surface, but full of deflection and quiet rewriting of events. To clarify: the window in question would have met the required 13" clear opening. That wasn't in dispute. Art, their sales associate, confirmed that in writing and was fully prepared to proceed with the job -- until I asked for a simple written accountability. That's the moment everything fell apart. Paul's follow-up misrepresents the timeline and sidesteps the core issue -- not whether the window would fit, but whether the company was willing to stand behind the result they were being paid to deliver.

Exceptional Front Door Replacement - Danny Alonzo is the Best!…read moreWe recently had our front door replaced and are absolutely thrilled with the results! Our installer, Danny Alonzo, was fantastic from start to finish. He has excellent communication skills and gave us a clear, realistic expectation of the time to completion. He was incredibly friendly, polite, and professional the entire time -- I honestly wish every contractor or vendor we use could be as good as Danny! We picked a custom color and the door came out exactly the shade we chose. It's solid, heavy, and makes a huge difference compared to our old door. We had bought and pre-painted our own interior moulding, and Danny installed it perfectly with no issues at all. I'm terrible at making clean silicone joints around moulding, but he did an amazing, professional job on them. He even went above and beyond when he noticed some stucco damage around the front door. He pointed it out to us and patched it beautifully -- way better than I could have done myself, lol! The finished door looks absolutely beautiful. My wife and I weren't 100% sure what to expect, but the quality and the final result made the entire expense completely worth it. The door feels rock-solid and looks incredible. We couldn't be happier! Highly recommend Danny Alonzo and this whole service. Thank you!

These windows are still perfect in every way. These woods come with value and reliability. When we added on to our home about 10 years ago, the contractor used their window company. We ordered some custom sized windows to keep consistency with the rest of our home...and those have never been right. A couple years ago the large, back window split in the frame. We had no question that Hometime would replace the window...and it's both well constructed & beautiful, with two perfectly working locks. The install was done by Eduardo and his crew. It was an early morning appointment, but Eduardo showed up in time. Both he and the other installer were friendly, efficient, and clean. They took less than 2 hours, door knock to exit, and left not a scrap or bit of dust in their perfect install. When we consider cost, style, AND locally, independently owned companies, we will have Hometime do all our windows, always. In the future we will also request Eduardo as our installer. Thanks!
