Worse, Paul didn't acknowledge or engage with any of the valid concerns I raised around basic customer service, transparency, or professional responsibility. Really affordable pricing to replace 4 of my windows! Art provided a quote for one window and then came out with an installer to measure 4 windows and provide another quote. After signing the contract the windows were ordered and arrived in about 3 weeks. The installation team worked quickly and Art was there to see it complete. Retrofitted the windows to fit in my existing frames to avoid having to work on the wall. Added the grids to match the style of the old windows since I have a condo and HOA would probably have an issue if not everyone's windows matched since it's a shared building. read more

I was referred to Paul's Windows by a good friend of mine who's longtime friends with the owners of Paul's Windows. I was put in touch with Rob who described the process and answered my questions. He was a no pressure salesperson which I appreciated. The quote he gave me was reasonable so I chose to go with them. After I put the deposit down, it took 3 weeks for the windows to be manufactured and then they scheduled the install day. I was told they'd arrive between 8-9am and they arrived right at 8:30am. This wasn't a big project (7 windows) so they finished by 2:00pm. The new windows look great and I love how easy they slide open/closed. My only criticism is that once they arrive with the windows, they do another set of measurements and trim some of the vinyl from the windows for a precise fit. But they trim on site using a miter saw so it spews millions of tiny vinyl bits everywhere. They swept up what they could but it was still an explosion of white microplastics everywhere. If it doesn't exist already, someone should invent a handheld miter saw that has a vacuum attachment so that any bits that are sawed off gets immediately sucked up for tidier cleanup and less environmental impact. read more

I am so glad I finally went through with retrofitting my windows. It took 3 years, a bunch of 18 year old fast and furious wannabes in my neighbourhood, and a pandemic that made most of us work from home, BUT it's done. Fabricio was quick with my original quote and right away i knew this was the company I would work with on my budget. Through all my many correspondences, I only had to follow up once or twice (keeping in mind these are busy people). I upgraded the thickness of the window glass for extra sound protection and it was worth every penny. Of course it's not sound proof but the before and after from my original windows is drastic. I can't imagine life before these were installed!! The install was quick, the team was professional and did a great job (a bit chatty but they seem happy doing their job at least!). 2 months later we are still happy with our windows. They required a 10% deposit to order the windows. The estimated date for windows to arrive was 4 months. We went with our instinct and trusted Fabricio. Thank goodness, we only waited 2 months. Fabricio was nice and professional. He gave us quotes to compare between pacific windows and Milgard. I think they are decently priced. The price difference wasn't much so we went with milgard retrofit. About $600/window. The crew of 6 came. Each guy had individual jobs. Fantastic install crew! 5 stars to Eddie and his team for the installation this past Monday on 16 large windows I've used Paul's windows before to replace old wooden framed windows that easily popped out and they did an excellent job. However, this installation was much more labor intensive. We had old steel frame windows, so all 16 windows had to be cut out. Before they even started to remove the windows, they did so much prep work to protect both inside and outside areas where they were working. They covered all the furniture with plastic and covered the floors with tarps. After the install, they vacuumed the floors, meticulously cleaned all the windows and walked me through all the windows to insure I was satisfied. Shout out to the crew member in the attached photos below, who cut out the windows. He, along with Eddie were always so polite, and doing so much more to insure we were happy. Dealing with contractors can be anxiety provoking. Especially when you're not there to verify the work that they do! I used Paul's Windows to help my in-laws retrofit 5 windows in their condo. Since I no longer live in the area, all of my interactions with the company were over email and phone. Fabricio was my contact, and he and other employees were always quick to get back to me whether it was for the initial quote, to schedule appointments, or to answer the million questions that I had. Fabricio sent me a virtual quote based on the rough measurements that I provided, but of course after I'd decided what windows I wanted, he visited the condo to take accurate measurements. Paul's seems to specialize in Crystal Pacific windows. Those are probably just fine, but I opted for pricier Milgard windows because they're a more well-known brand. I actually requested a quote for both, and both seemed reasonable. After ordering, it took about a month for Paul's to receive the windows from the manufacturer. According to my in-laws, installation went smoothly. 5 guys showed up and finished in about 2 hours. When I visited a few weeks later, I found that the crew did a solid and clean looking job. The only minus is that one of the windows is a little hard to pop open, but it's a fairly large window, so this might not be uncommon. Note that while Paul's accepts credit cards, they charge a 2.5% fee for this. The fee was not assessed when we used a card to pay the 10% deposit, however. Altogether, we're happy with how things turned out. If only all the contractors I've dealt with were this reliable! Milgard windows carry a lifetime warranty, and Paul's provides a 5-year warranty against installation defects - all the more peace of mind. read more

This is a review of their business practices, since we ended up not needing to purchase. We reached out about a patio French door replacement. Art asked for the dimensions and gave me a very reasonable quote over the phone. He then said they needed to come out for a formal measurement. Here's where you may need to be a little patient - they organize measurements by neighborhood, so just keep staying in touch with Art to find a time. When Art and his installer came, his installer spent extra time looking at the door and showed me how to adjust it. Problem solved! And at no cost (I plan to buy them lunch). I have had multiple other vendors out, and they were all more expensive and didn't try or know how to fix it. They are honest and fairly priced, what more can you ask for. read more

We own a 1950's era apartment window with old aluminum louvered windows, and have been gradually replacing them with new dual-glazed, energy efficient windows. Paul's Windows just replaced 17 windows in our house and we couldn't be happier. Rob, our sales associate, was very communicative, quick, no pressure, and professional throughout the process. His initial consultation was thorough, and he was patient in showing us the various options and finishes for windows. He sent us a quote right away, and scheduled detailed measurements within a week. He also dropped by with frame samples. Fast forward 4 weeks later, the install crew, led by Javier, came to our house and replaced all of our windows in about 6-7 hours. They laid down fabric protection on the floors and left very little dust. The windows all look very plumb and clean, and they did a great job at framing out the windows (not the moulding, but the wood frame to seal off the vinyl frames) and priming them. We appreciated that Rob stopped by during the install to ensure things were going smoothly. I'd highly recommend Paul's for any window needs. For reference, we replaced all of the cheap, vinyl windows that came with the house (some of which the hardware and screens were failing) with Milgard Trinsic windows in Bronze. Poor customer service. After being told someone will reach out to me by the end of the day, I had to follow up with the company at night to ask what happened. After finally connecting and having them come out, I had to text and email them multiple times for a week. I was finally given a price with no other information except paperwork will be sent the same morning. After another week passed, I asked about the estimate and was told they don't service my area. Why would they even come out to my home and waste both of our times? Why give a quote? Why spend two weeks of time on this before finally sharing this information? This vendor the most reliable and competent contractor, i have ever worked with in all my years of home improvements. ITs a small family owned business which i love. I decided on Paul's Windows cause they were one of the cheapest, but also because the Fabrisio, the main contact, stuck with me with all my questions, and got back to me within a day. I live on a 3rd-floor condo, and they filled out all of the annoying paperwork and sent it back and was always very communicative. These guys work very hard. They come in a team of four men. My husband reached out to several window companies and unfortunately, there were not many who can replace/install just one window. Most companies require a minimum of three or four windows but we were thankful Paul's Windows provided services to any number of windows needed. We worked with Art through text messages and was quite responsive. Art arrange one of his guys to stop by and obtain the necessary measurements in order to know the accurate pricing and date of installation. Unfortunately, there were times where my husband had to follow up with Art in order to know status or updates. It's possible that Art was multi-tasking or handling several things at once. However, Art was still able to respond when needed. After getting the actual pricing, we placed an order for the window needed and unfortunately took four weeks to get it, which seems to be normal especially with all the requests they're receiving due to the unforeseen rains we've had in late 2022 and early 2023. Once the window was received, we scheduled the installation date. Installation crew did a great job and was very clean and thorough. Their job was so clean that our other newly installed windows did not look as good. Okay. Seriously, I am blown away by Paul's Windows. I had a great initial experience with them. In my first review, I mentioned some pricing concerns, but that was at the very height of the supply chain insanity, and they really did try their best to communicate with us, so I should have had more patience as the whole world happened to be on fire in that moment. And their team was so clean and professional, the installation went great, so smooth. This was our first major home repair, and I've worked with other companies to do other repairs since, so now I appreciate what a freaking gem Paul's Windows really is. I just wrote an update on my initial review that mentioned some super minor concern with the caulk peeling on our windows now that it's been a while since the initial installation. I immediately got a response from the company asking to come take a look at it. This was a minor detail in a five star review update, they could have let it slide. But they didn't, they called me immediately. So, now I just needed to update my update! OMG!! Why dod I wait so long to get new windows done. Oh yeah now I remember. The places that I had come out and do estimates were so overpriced I could not afford it. My girlfriend asked her friends since she's a realtor who is the best and most recently priced company for windows and Paul's was the number one answer. I have them come out and give me an estimate I could not believe the price they quoted me. It takes several months for them to order the parts due to Covid and freight shipping they called me on Friday and said they'd be out on Tuesday. They showed up right on time and believe it or not they were done in less than six hours with nine windows. So, it started when my huge picture window in the front of the house cracked from top to bottom. I quickly looked up a few window places and called them for an estimate to replace that big window and possibly all the windows in the house (an additional 11 windows). A couple of the companies required a minimum of 4 or 5 windows to quote. The front window alone was like 5 windows. I wanted to reconfigure the layout so it was more functional and attractive. Next, I spoke with Rob who scheduled a date with me to come by for the estimate. After receiving 4 quotes in total we selected Paul's Windows based on price and friendly service. They were my first quote and I wanted to choose them right away but I felt better knowing I had other quotes to compare. Windows were on order and we selected a date to install. Little did we know at the time that SoCal would be hit with its biggest storm it had seen in a while. I started to get nervous as the day approached with news stories of all the anticipated rains to come. Paul was great with keeping me informed. Turns out there were only light sprinkles forecasted for the day of install and this time the forecast was right. So window installation went as planned. Javier and his team arrived on time. This review is long overdue. I got Paul to redo half of my windows in my current home a while back. You're only as good as your employees and for once, I am impressed with his crew. It was almost as if they had a share in the company itself based on their professionalism, quality of work, and communication- I cannot say this about any of my 6 separate contractors I've hired in the past 2 years to remodel various areas of my home. About 2 weeks after the install, someone broke one of our brand new window. I contacted Paul and he immediately ordered the new window and as a sign of feeling bad, he even gave me a discount because it was so soon after the new install - I didn't even ask for it. I am currently in escrow of a new home and I had him come over for some measurements of some of the windows to be replaced. With my budget in mind we went over the windows and after his inspection, he advise me to NOT change them! He informed me that they're still in good condition and since fall and winter is coming up, I shouldn't have too much issues in losing energy. He said we can revisit the idea of changing them out before next summer and he suggested I use the budget for nice new shutters! I was speechless. These actions can only come from someone who understands customer loyalty and free advertisement.
