Aj's son Logan came out and did the initial measurements for 11 windows we needed replaced because they lost their seal. He was out the same day I called to inquire about their work, and schedule. This made me very happy because from the start AJ's glass was very responsive, kind and courteous. We were selling the house, and we had a two week deadline to when the buyer wanted to do another walkthrough to see all the new windows. After taking measurements Logan said the solex/clear glass would take two weeks to get in. After a week I inquired with AJ what the delivery of the glass looked like. He was hard at work trying to find other vendors that had the glass that matched the rest of the glass in our house because he knew of our deadline. They ended up getting the glass just shy of two weeks, and they had it cut and ready to go within 2 days. On the third day they were over at the house installing the new glass, and they had the job done in 1 hour! WOW!! This family owned business deserves so much business because they really take a serious focus on the customer, and I felt like a priority the entire time. The company that replaced our roof did such a good job, and I was recommended AJs glass through them! When the job was done Logan sent pictures, and the job was done very professionally. AJ'a glass will not sacrifice on job quality, and their pricing is very competitive compared to all the other glass companies I researched. Anthony, who is in charge replied right away and ask for pictures and measurements, which I provided. He gave me a call and told me it would be around $1500 which I agreed to. I needed to replace my window unit which was OK but the window was constantly leaking during heavy rains from the window frame. When he came out and looked at it, he mentioned that the leak from my current window is happening due to stucco area above which would need a good sealant and that he will replace the frame around the window. Was all the extra work he gave me the new estimate which was $2500. I agreed to it, expecting that the window would be new and will stop leaking. Installation was completed within a few weeks but it was very rushed and the window frame to remove the old window and place the new unit was heavily damaged by his team. He put in some extra sealant around the window where he was installing but not as promised above where the stucco issue was. Additionally the frame was not provided - he told me that I can fix up the current window frame where it was damaged during installation with some sheet rock which I had to have someone else come out and work on for in two settings to make it look somewhat decent after the damages during installment. Unfortunately, during the next rain the window continued to leak. I'm tried to reach Anthony and send him pictures of the concerns and trying to get a partial refund but he's not replying and not picking up his phone. Pictures are post-installment of the new unit. I have worked with Anthony Martino (owner) in the past and up until the last 2 jobs I have hired him for everything was ok in the past. I hired him to install a frameless shower and mirrors in a home located on Garden Canyon in Katy Tx. I originally ordered the glass from him 0n June 22 of 2022. the agreed amount for the work to be completed was $1,875 of which Anthony normally has always asked for at least half up front to order the glass and half upon installation. On this project he asked me to give him all of the money up front and asked for it in cash. Although I was hesitant I did give him $1,500 cash and I was told I would have my glass installed no later than 2 weeks after paying him the $1,500 cash and that he would need the remaining amount upon installation. He did not show back up for 1 month and then when he showed up he had 2 young guys with him that I have never met or dealt with in the past. After they had installed the glass shower I pointed out to him that the large glass panel had a scratch on it and that this would not be acceptable to my client. He then said that since we ordered the glass with a shower guard coating to protect against water spots that he would not be able to buff out the scratch and that he would have to order another panel to replace the scratched one. I also asked him where the factory sticker that the manufacturer places on the glass so that the customer is assured that the glass coating had been applied and he said that they did not put the sticker on at the factory so now there is no way to prove that the shower guard coating was actually applied or that he even ordered it with the shower guard. This was on 7/21/22 He was paid the remaining $375 and told me that he would have the panel replaced in less than 2 weeks. After numerous attempts to rectify this situation with him and him also taking 6 weeks to deliver a glass panel on another job i had given him around the same time after also saying it would be 2 1/2 weeks which the customer refused to pay him the remaining balance because he tried to get away with a horrible installation we had to force him to come back and correct his work which he did not like and after he was paid for that job, he told me he did not feel that we should move forward doing business together and he has still left me with a scratched shower panel on the garden Canyon job that he is supposed to replace.
