I've never been treated by ANYBODY the way the owner treated my party of 8. We reserved 4 rooms ahead of time. Drove 7 hours and got treated worse than garbage. We arrived around noon. We figured we would stop by and see if our rooms were ready. When we arrived we were greeted in the parking lot by an older gentleman and a younger gentleman. (I believe her son and husband). They directed us where to park our 2 trucks and trailers. We got them parked and then went to go talk to Satan's offspring. As soon as 3 of us walked in, we didn't get greeted or acknowledged. We told her that we were arriving and wanted to know if there was a possibility of getting our room. She wouldn't know that's what we wanted because she cut us off right away and told us that the room wouldn't be ready till check in time. Ok no problem. We told her that we would just change in the trailer and go ride for a few hours. She said we couldn't leave the trucks there. We decided we'd go get our 2 rentals across the street. When we were in the parking area, the 2 nice gentleman told us that they knew at least 2 of the rooms were ready and open and we can go inside them. Perfect. The girls went in 1 to change and the guys went in the other. While changing, the miserable human she opened the door to the girls room and asked why they were in the room. While explaining to her that we were told we could by the 2 guys, she slammed the door in our faces while we were talking. She then went next door, opened the door to the room that the guys were in, looked at us and said "MOTHER FU**ERS" and slammed the door. After riding all day, we came back to have some food and drinks. When we walk in, we see the her. She looks at us and rolls her eyes. Great start to a night out of spending more money at your establishment . As she watches me walk to an empty table, she grabs a glass of water off the bar and speed walks to the table and sets it down and tells me that the table is taken. Ok. So I go sit at another table but it's right in front of the live music. The sweet waitress came to the table and asked if we wanted to move to the "taken table" since the music would be loud. I told her what she said about it being taken. She told me that it was just an employee water and she will move it. Throughout the night we watched her help every table in the place...except ours. At one point she told just our table that it was last call. It was 9:30. The musician was on till 10:00. There were 50 people there. Weird. We stayed there anyway since everybody else was. Shockingly, it was wasn't last call. The waitress was amazing. We left her a very large tip after spending over $400. End of day 1. Day 2 we rode all day. After riding, we decided again against our better judgement to spend more money at this place. Throughout the night she would just stand behind the bar with her head tilted down staring at us like she's staring into our souls. Even after making eye contact she continues to stare. We ordered a pizza and when the food is ready, they set it on a counter and the waitress or her would take it out. When ours was done, she picked it up, read the receipt to see who's it was, saw it was ours, set it back down, and walked away. We asked the waitress if we can take shots off the shotski. She told us yes, and when she went to get it, she told her that we can't. Later, her son who is also working at the bar, asked us if we wanted to use it. When he grabbed it, his mom told him she doesn't want us using it. He told her to calm down and we used it. We decided to leave and stop spending anymore money at this place. We just went back to one of the rooms and hung out. She is a horrible human being and is the reason this lodge will never be visited again by myself, the other 7 people in our group, anybody that we can save from being treated like a second class citizen. If you're looking for somewhere to stay in the area, there are several other options. Do yourself a favor and utilize them. I haven't even included the details about how dirty the rooms were...black mold....cob webs...filthy ceiling tiles that were falling down. read more
