Mae and company were great at customer service upfront, getting the estimate to us right away and they were very competitive with other companies. Clem came over a few weeks ahead of the tenting to go over everything. He was very professional and helpful. As for the job itself, the crew was very good -- they were fast and efficient, and were nice to our neighbors (we heard later). They notified us when they were done and tested the air quality and called us to give us the OK to move back in. Piece of cake, start to finish very professional and efficient. They guarantee their service, but they make it impossible to return. I needed early morning or late afternoon, we the tech thought that was funny and said he does the hotels in the morning, they could Schedule me between 9 and 2....I would've had to take a day off to accommodate their schedule. So instead of losing money paying for service that didn't work, but I'm not going to lose a days pay because they watered down the chemicals. So I cancelled the contract and will find a retable company that can service our home.

And I have generally been satisfied. Their folks come on time -- or offer to come early if they're ahead of schedule -- and are always pleasant and efficient. BUT they do one thing that drives me crazy: Instead of contacting the customer to schedule an appointment at a convenient time, their automated scheduler simply informs you that they're coming at X date and time. Because my schedule varies, that almost never works, and I have to waste my time contacting them to reschedule. When I complained about this once, they said, roughly, that they have to do it this way. No they don't. I've never encountered another business that operates this way and it's a constant source of frustration.

My boyfriend called Dick's and the tech came that Saturday (I think his name was Roy?)...he checked out all the spots where we saw what might have been poop pellets and also checked out the attic beams and came to the wonderful conclusion that we could remove the damaged areas and spot treat and we should be fine! Paid extra for them to come out on a day that wasn't their scheduled quarterly treatment date. Two months later we found a centipede in our upstairs bathroom which we have never had with any other place we have lived and called them for a follow up treatment and they said they would have to charge us for another quarterly treatment since it has been over a month since the treatment. Never had this issue with the other companies on the island. Definitely won't use their service again and will be talking to our HOA about their contract with Accu Pest.
