The consultation was straightforward & quick--Katie thoroughly examined my skin and reviewed the high-resolution photos taken with their machine. Afterward, I was taken to a private room to sign a consent form outlining the procedure. Katie then applied numbing cream to my face, and after it took effect, she removed it and began using the laser to treat my skin. Despite the numbing cream, the treatment was still painful, and my face burned a lot afterward, which is a normal part of the process. Following the laser session, I was brought to a separate room where I used cold air and an iced face roller to cool my skin for about 20 minutes before leaving. The treatment is on the pricier side, but the results are truly fantastic--Although the procedure was painful and the healing process took about seven days, it was absolutely worth it in the end.

It is undeniable that every esthetician on this team (including the one I had the negative experience with) is exceptional at giving facials. And, overtime, the positive experiences have accumulated and outweighed the negative one. Recently, I had a skin analysis with Sandra herself. She was detailed, patient, and answered every single one of my (many) questions. I've had 10 prior microneedling sessions done at certified dermatologist offices with great results. as soon as my treatment at wellness med began, I knew I had wasted my money. this girl was not at all experienced. she applied way too much force on the hallow parts of my face (my cheekbones) and hardly applied any pressure on areas of my face that needed to be targeted. She also scratched my face with the pen multiple times. It was very clear this girl had no idea what she was doing. I had to tell her where to apply the correct amount of pressure because she was hurting me. The treatment lasted for 10 minutes, and she tried telling me she was done. $450 for 10 minutes of micro-needling treatment. I told the girl she barely did anything and had to ask her to go over my face again. It was a waste of my time and money. word of advice to wellness med art: don't recommend services to clients if you don't have properly trained staff.. I recommend going to a dermatologist for any form of micro-needling services. what a joke.

He was very professional and personable and his receptionist was lovely. I have been plagued with spider veins since puberty and, while I like my dermatologist a lot, she's in Manhattan and going to her just takes a long time. I got sclerotherapy with Dr. Yee and was pleased with the results. He was very careful and thorough. I would definitely recommend Re-nu! They are also open Saturdays, which is very convenient.
