Don't waste your money. i came here for a PRP microneedling session. i spoke with an older woman who seemed to be in charge of the place. she swore all her employees were professionals. then she had her daughter microneedle me. I've had 10 prior microneedling sessions done at certified dermatologist offices with great results. as soon as my treatment at wellness med began, I knew I had wasted my money. this girl was not at all experienced. she applied way too much force on the hallow parts of my face (my cheekbones) and hardly applied any pressure on areas of my face that needed to be targeted. She also scratched my face with the pen multiple times. It was very clear this girl had no idea what she was doing. I had to tell her where to apply the correct amount of pressure because she was hurting me. The treatment lasted for 10 minutes, and she tried telling me she was done. $450 for 10 minutes of micro-needling treatment. I told the girl she barely did anything and had to ask her to go over my face again. It was a waste of my time and money. word of advice to wellness med art: don't recommend services to clients if you don't have properly trained staff.. Came here using a Groupon for teeth whitening. When I arrived was greeted and everyone was super friendly. However this isn't a dentists office and they just don't have the tools to do everything correctly. Nothing is there to hold the machine or your head in place and there's nothing to watch so you're just staring into space for an hour. They don't have the tools to suck up saliva or anything like that so I ended up drooling all over myself during the procedure and they didn't really do anything to wipe it up. NEW PATIENTS BEWARE! They left my face disfigured, and will rip you off. I've been receiving Botox/Dysport injections for many years, and never have I had such a horrible experience or challenge with achieving results. On Thursday, July 21st I redeemed a groupon for 120 units of Dysport injections at Wellness Med Arts. During this visit on July 21st, the nurse (whose name I do not recall) recommended I also receive Juviderm filler in my nasal labial folds. I agreed to the service and paid $519.96 for the additional service. On July 27th (4 days later), I reached out to the business on Instagram to inform them that the Dysport injections were not working and included photos of my forehead. I was advised to come in on Sunday, July 31st for them to see it. On Sunday July 31st, at 10am I arrived at Wellness Med Arts, to be examined by Alla, an employee, who is a different individual from the one who originally injected me. She agreed that the injections were not working and recommended I switch products to Botox, and receive an additional 40 units of Botox. I was informed that the additional product would not be done complimentary and was told it would be an additional $500. When I declined an additional charge, a gentleman whom I believe is the business owner informed me that he would make a deal with me. The deal was a total charge of $239.54. I apprehensively agreed to this additional service to correct the original injections that did not work. On August 10th, I noticed that the Botox also is not working correctly. Only one half of my forehead has lost movement, and my "11 lines" still have movement. The filler in my nasal labial folds has also migrated and I was left with one line on one side, and none on the other. I received a total of 120 units of Dysport (which is equivalent to 40 units of Botox) and then an additional 40 units of Botox for a total of 80 units, and was left with a disfigured forehead, and a hefty bill $750 plus the original Groupon cost. I ultimately disputed the charge with Amex and unfortunately lost due to actual services being rendered. The business truly should have done the right thing and just refunded me, but I guess that's just a testament to the kind of operation they're running. If you're reading this, you should strongly considering going elsewhere--there are so many other providers worth looking into. Give your money to a more ethical business and skilled provider. read more

I originally came for a hydra facial for first time bc my skin was dry and terrible around winter time. I saw they had a 3 hydra facial package plan for $300 so I thought it was a good deal and went for it. First visit was good. Second visit, there was miscommunication I guess with time and dates? do not get your botox here. they are always always late to the tune of an hour. if you pay for your groupon beforehand they will require a $50 deposit and then they will not refund you your $50 deposit. they also will not inject botox under the eyes to get rid of bags/stop muscle twitches because they are spinning some lie about how its not safe and that theres nothing under your eye to inject into. Like. The injector and the front desk lady looked me in my eyes and told me i DONT HAVE MUSCLES UNDER MY EYES. I was getting botox to alleviate a CHRONIC LOWER EYELID TWITCH. I went back to Wellness Med Art this week after about 6 months away. A different person did my Botox and all I can say is "Ouch! That Really Hurt!". I swear it was a bigger syringe than on previous visits and unlike the woman who did my Botox on previous visits, this person DID NOT take her time and use surgical precision. Luckily the outcome is fine, but the area between my eyebrows hurt for about 3 days, which I've never experienced before with Botox. And I've had PLENTY of Botox (I make no bones about it. I don't want to look like a Ferengi from Star Trek just because I knit my eyebrows together!) read more

I really didn't want to have to do this but I have no choice , I went to this place to get my lips done and I got botched , so here is what had happened , I had previous filler in my past and as we know filler goes away after some time , so I go to this office and (alla) consulted with me and was hesitant to do my lip filler because she said she sees little bumps inside my lip from previous filler which we all know is normal , regardless of her saying that she decided to go through with doing my lips because she said she can fix them and make them look good , I left the office with my lips looking decent had no problem with it , 2 weeks later I have lumps and bumps everywhere one side isn't even for top and bottom , when I talk my mouth looks crooked , so I went back and said why do I look like this and alla said there is nothing wrong with it just needs a little massaging so she massaged it n said usually I say no to clients that come to me with existing filler I tell them to go where they usually go , so I said why did u take me then if u say no to other who have previous filler with some tiny bumps ,ETIL the lady who owns the office comes out and try's to convince me there is nothing wrong with my lips but we all can see that there is so her husband was kind enough to refund my money and aside from getting my money since now that I look like this , alla the Injector should dissolve my lips so I don't walk around like this . And she completely denied me and said I will not do anything , I leave the office and call back the next day , and ETIL picks up and says alla will not do it and if she agrees to do it ur going to have to pay 200 dollars to dissolve it , I said 200 dollars to dissolve alla mistake , heck no that's unbelievable, then she comes up with some lie that suddenly her office will be closed for 4 days and no one will be there that alla will be on vacation so if I wanted to come right now I couldn't even if I wanted to , and she said I can get a different injector to dissolve it for u in a week or two but once again they will charge me 200$ , then she said I can't talk I got to go and being super unprofessional , not to mention the other day when I came in I was lied to and said alla is sick and won't be here for a week and now apparently she's going on vacation , ladies stay away from this awful place they have no idea how to run a business how to satisfy clients , poor work ethics , that is not how u talk to a client especially paying a lot of money to get this done . Two employees here made nasty comments about my African hair (I'm black) in the Russian language (which I understood because I have intermediate fluency in Russian). They thought because I am black, I wouldn't understand those racist remarks in Russian. I walked right back out of this place. Never again. The ladies were nice. Office was clean. That's the positive...so I really wanted to give a good review but my personal experience was otherwise. I asked for a natural look and it was anything but a natural look. Unfortunately, my lip were overfilled, uneven and have been blowing up for the past two weeks. And they hurt a lot every night. I'm constantly in severe pain. I was told juvederm was used. I went to a dermatologist and a nurse and they both indicated to me that it was poorly executed and that they should not have used as much filler as they did. I reached out to the spa with photos respectfully asking for advice and have not heard back. I have to spend at least $500 dollars to dissolve the fillers and I don't feel comfortable going here to do it (apparently would cost $200 per session). I will never do fillers here again. read more

I can't believe I didn't write a review for Wellness Med Art earlier; I really thought I did! I've been coming here once a month for about 6 month and can't say enough great things about it. Ethel is the master of hydrafacials and, thanks to her, my skin has gone through such an amazing transformation. Seriously, for the first time in basically ever, I can walk out of my house without a stitch of foundation, BB cream, anything. It's so clear and SO smooth. The process is quick yet relaxing, so it's the perfect little relaxation in the midst of a busy life. The products are all top notch and they carry the Obagi line of skincare; and NO, they do NOT try to sell you anything. After receiving the hydrafacials for a couple of months, I asked Ethel what products she recommended I use at home, as I had purchased some from Shesheido and was very disappointed. I trust her opinion, as it is very very clear that she stays on top of the game and is extremely well informed. Additionally, she says she will not use products on her clients until she tries it on herself first. Ethel is also the sweetest lady and has a very calming presence to her. Trish is the lip injection guru. I say this from personal experience, but if you don't believe me, go check out the Wellness Med Art instagram. She really has an eye for what looks best on various faces, and executes the job with perfection. An added perk is that she is so outgoing and hilarious; it's like having coffee conversation with a friend as she does her magic. Seriously, she and Ethel are the cosmetic dream team. I recently had botox, chin filler and lip filler done at Wellness Med Art, and I can say their work and customer service is amazing. Trisha is wonderful, she has a very good eye and gentle hands. Highly recommend her! I hate getting lip fillers and usually ask for a dental block so I can be assured that I won't feel a thing; they suggested using just their numbing cream and I would be numb enough to go through the entire procedure. They explained that with a dental block, sometimes you can lose control of your facial muscles and they don't want to risk any unevenness. I was skeptical, but turns out they were right, I didn't feel a thing. IDK what's in that cream but it's legit. She suggested Juvederm Ultra Plus XC for the longevity since it can last up to a year and my body has a tendency to reabsorb fillers quickly. I normally do Juvederm Ultra XC. This was my first time getting botox and due to my propensity to imitate The Rock when he's doing the people's eyebrow - I developed some wrinkles on one side of my forehead. Trisha looked at me while I made all sorts of weird expressions and suggested that I get my horizontal forehead wrinkles done, my "11's" between the eyes, and a drop of Bo' under the brows to open my eyes up. I did 20 units only. I love Juvederm Voluma for my chin and she did a fantastic job in getting the shape just right. So after that filler/botox extravaganza, Trisha recommended that I see her again after 2 weeks to reassess everything and make sure it's settling to her liking. This is when they deserve every bit of those 5 stars. When I got home, I was loving everything even though I was swollen AF. But after a day, I was not happy with my lip fillers. So I emailed them thinking I would hear back in a few days, they emailed me back in less than 2 hours. I explained my concerns and they set me up with an appointment right away, even though it's Christmas Eve. So a week later I saw Trisha again, and by then my Botox settled and I realized that I looked a bit freaky when I raised my eyebrows and I really really REALLY do not like Juvederm Ultra Plus for my lips since it gives it more volume than Juvederm Ultra which is what I'm used to, even at the same amount of 1cc. She wanted me to wait another week for it to settle, but I didn't want to wait, so she listened to why I don't like it and even though most people would die for more volume for less product and more longevity - it's not my style since I like the very soft, don't even touch my vermillion borders look and dissolved the Juvederm Ultra Plus. Then she added a drop of 'Bo to the top of my eyebrows so the arch can settle down back to where it was before so no more crazy face. Now I can still move my face around normally but no more wrinkles! Juvederm Voluma in my chin is still perfect. The most important thing for them was to ensure I was happy. We even reached an amicable financial solution for my lip fillers since I just had it for a week, and the product itself is not cheap for the med spa. They did everything they can to make sure that I was happy. Nothing is perfect, but how they handled everything was amazing customer service. While I was sitting in the waiting room, I saw a number of repeating clients that was very friendly with the staff and was on a first name basis. I would go back to them and entrust them with my face again since they demonstrated a high level of integrity. read more

Please look at these pictures before considering getting your lips done here. One side of my lip has been overfilled and now my lips are more lopsided than they were originally.There was so much swelling even two weeks later at the second session because Ama hit so many blood vessels, so it wasn't visible then how crooked she left my lip. But now it's been almost a month and I am horrified. The second injector, some lady with a southern accent was more focused on the fact that my half a syringe was done than the fact that my lips were lopsided. Also I wasn't even told when I made my follow up appointment, that Ama wouldn't be there. I would never have agreed to have a second injector finish the job. Ama would have used extra filler at no price to me to correct my lips. I went to her once before and she did that. The second lady from Texas doesn't care at all and she was off putting. Also, I didn't like the way they try to haggle me to get a facial and Botox and everything else even after I told the injector three times that I could not afford $150 for a facial. I will not be returning here and I want to know that I didn't reach out and ask if they could fix my lips because I can't deal with any more crazy swelling from Ama's technique.
