Horrible service, rude , over charged me 3 months ago and won't refund my 220.00. I would never walk in this office again. They were so rude to a little old lady while I was waiting. Made me pay in advance. My insurance covered all but 30.00 and they won't refund my 220.00. I finally got my 220.00 back. It only took 3 months. They lied twice saying it had been refunded but twice I never got a check. They kept saying it had to be approved. My insurance paid the bill why would it need to be approved. Avoid this place. My doctor required me to go to this location for an MRI because they have high resolution machines. I would have given a 5 star review, but I'm taking off a star because the lady told me they had tried to call me to tell me about the high co-insurance but my voicemail wasn't set up. They had the wrong number. Luckily I could pay for the test because I had over an hour drive there. Anyway, the lady at the desk was very friendly and I was sent straight back for the test. The lady performing the test was very nice and explained everything that was going to happen during the test. She kept checking in with me to let me know how long each portion would take. Upon arriving early for my appointment, there was another patient who was extremely upset with the wait time and treatment received by the staff in this office. This should have been my cue that I needed to leave immediately and schedule an appointment at a facility that services scheduled patients before walk-ins. The staff is extremely unprofessional, they don't communicate well with each other at all, and they act as if they cannot be bothered with the concerns of the patients who make their employment possible. It is absolutely unacceptable to keep a scheduled patient who is holding their bladder for a test waiting for over an hour due to the negligence of an office worker. Don't bother scheduling an appointment... Take your business elsewhere. read more

Go to Rose Radiology.. WCR cancelled my appointment twice due to "waiting on authorization". When I called my insurance company, I was informed the procedure had been authorized a week prior. I called WCR back and informed them of the authorization. Now, it was in an "incomplete" status. They called me back 4 hours later and scheduled me the next day at 11am. I arrived at 1045 and waited until 1135 before the tech came out and told me they had an issue with the scanner, "well not really the scanner, but we are out of syringes" "and waiting for the delivery and have no idea when they will arrive" I asked for my $200 co-pay back (hope I get it) and told them I was going to another service. If I could give them half a star I would. Very incompetent staff. Always being put on hold when the person on the phone clearly does not know what they are doing. My doctor gave me a paper script. I made an appointment because the script was for WCR. They wanted me to bring it to the location in advance to keep the appointment in place because the doctors office did not supply them with a script when they called him. So they cancel my appointment. I reschedule the fasting test after faxing it to there office TWICE. They said the doctor called and cancelled the test. I called my doctor and they said they would never cancel a test that a patient had made an appointment for! That I had the script in hand and would bring to the appointment with me beside the fact that it was faxed--something is wrong with WCR. I asked for another radiologist to handle my test. The doctors office agreed with me that we would NOT USE WESTCOAST RADIOLOGY. I advised the doctor to not use them for their patients in the future as they were nothing but upsetting and frustrating to me, the cash paying client!! Have used this facility in Palm Harbor for years but no more. Had a CT scan done prior to appointment with gastro doctor - got to the appointment and he had not received results from test done 10 days earlier. He called and was told test had not been read and reviewed. He finally got results by having his staff call and call. Scheduled a mammogram - two days before I get a call they can't do it because they are short a radiologist and they want to reschedule for a couple of months later. I made the appointment 2 months in advance. Finally got to talk to someone else and they "fit me in." Two months later I hadn't gotten the letter of results so I called my doctor. They had no results either. Took another 2 weeks before I got the results. My GP no longer has patients go there even though the location is convenient. Totally unprofessional. read more

Spent 3 hours sitting in this place with my RX from my DR. telling them what he wants done I drink the Barium then they come out 3 hours later and tell me that the Radiologist has decided that this is too much radiation and they aren't going to perform the test. Then he had the nerve to say as a radiologist he knows better than my DR. what is needed!!! Un professional completely. They wasted my time and half of my day for nothing. And then to say they know better than my Dr. Don't use this company they are shady and rude. Contacted their main office same line of BS I've never had any other testing facility tell me this. Have been waiting for results from my MRI for almost a month.After many calls from me and my doctor all we get is they are working on it. Asked to speak to a supervisor and the person I spoke to said there was no supervisor on site and didn't know the offsite supervisors number. I was told that an email would be sent to a supervisor and that I would be contacted. I waited one day and nothing. Called again and got the same run around. Don't bother, and don't go to the Clearwater location ,long wait times and my wifes mammogram was rescheduled twice and then she she had to go to another location. read more

On December 28, 2017, I had a follow-up ultrasound. Time passed and I had not heard from either my doctor or Westcoast. On February 15, 2018, I contacted my doctor's office to get the results. My doctor stated they had never received results, so I called Westcoast. The person who answered the phone stated that the results had been sent to my doctor the day before (the 14th) at 3:30 p.m. I asked for a hard copy of the results to be sent to me, to which she agreed. Warning: DO NOT GO HERE if you want results in a timely fashion or expect any kind of compassionate concern or communication. I just received my mammogram and ultrasound results after 5 WEEKS of calls. I have been diagnosed with breast cancer and the response from West Coast Radiology was totally unacceptable. 5 WEEKS for a reading? Are you kidding me? They say a supervisor will call, but they don't and the response is "sorry, we are understaffed. I am sure you will be next." Really? My nurse at Florida Cancer Specialist called numerous times, no return calls. Finally called the admin office and spoke to someone there who simply said the same excuse. Finally, I had to drive to the office and demand a CD of my images. The results finally submitted to Florida Cancer Specialists, but do you think the overworked radiologist spent more than 5 minutes on the reading? Doubtful. read more

I WORK FOR A DOCTORS OFFICE & I have been trying to get test results for 4 MONTHS! I've called, I've faxed requests & I've also asked to speak to a manager. The 4th time I called for a manager I was told, once again that they have to e-mail the manager & the manager will call me but I explained that I've left 3 messages for a manager to call me & I haven't gotten a return call. When I insisted that I must speak to someone in charge they hung up on me! DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. I go to the West Coast Radiology in Palm Harbor (for years) mostly for mammograms. I took it for granted that all were the same. Getting an appointment for this anywhere was a 2 month wait. So I took the first one at another place. It was not good. I never had such an uncomfortable experience. This tech was very nice but didn't have a finesse with me and the equipment. At West Coast Radiology I never thought once about it. This is 3 weeks later and I am still thinking about it. Also had cat scan and it was done in a way that I don't think about it - which is why I never wrote a review. Changing my ways. read more

Today was the 2nd time in 2 weeks I visited West Coast Radiology as a walk in. Each time the receptionist was very pleasant. I thought I would have to wait a significant amount of time but each time I was seen within 10 minutes. The gentleman taking my x-rays was also very pleasant and professional. This is a sad place. I had a CT back in 10/2016.I have a very strict insurance company and I asked them to call my insurance company they were put on hold and they hung up before speaking to my insurance company. She stated my insurance would pay for it because it was a stat CT. So I had my CT done. 8 months later, after I retired I received a bill from them. They totally put the blame on me accepting no responsibility. There are many radiology places in that area, do not use this one. I have never received a bill 8 months later. read more

My husband went in 5 days ago for a PET-CT scan, only to find out over the ensuing days that the hard drive on the machine had technical problems, so no reports were being generated. Supposedly, their IT depart. has been working on it. Day 5, I learned that there are no supervisors or managers at the Palm Harbor, FL location, and that they are all in the Canadian corporate office. My husband is a cancer patient, so we're on pins and needles waiting to see if the cancer has returned. Worst management style I've ever encountered...the local staff has no authority to do anything. There is still no resolution toward getting a radiology report back to husband's oncologist. Just Horrible!!!!!! read more

My last time to West Coast on US 19 Tarpon Springs, was awful. They don't have a Dr. on site to read, so an hour later asked why taking so long, I was told they have to email a Dr. in New Port Richey to read in between her patients!!! I walked out never to return. Then to top is off I called Monday the 26th of Feb. at 9:00am requesting previous mamo's. Told them I needed by Friday March 2 and I would pick up the for my apt at Bay Care on Monday. I called yesterday morning March 1st and again in afternoon requesting time to pick up CD's. Both times they emailed records and told them the urgency. I called twice this morning March 2nd and demanded to speak to manager, of course was told not in, but would email her. Customer service is zero. They keep emailing but the problem is NO ONE is reading the requests and executing the requests. I was assured yesterday I would get a call and that never happened. Will never to back. Ever since the Dr. sold this imaging to a Canadian company, it has gone so far down hill, so unorganized. read more

I am so distressed. I had a mammogram on August 11, 2017. I have yet to get the report and today is September 20 2017. They keep saying the Dr. hasn't signed off on it. My Dr called them and they said the same thing, I final y asked for my previous reports from 2015 and 2016. I was assured I could get them but went to the Palm Harbor facility and they didn't have them, but they did tell me my doctor would have the report on his fax by 8:30 am today (Sept 20th)so I called to cancel mammogram at a different facility.. As of noon today my Dr. has not heard from them. No matter who you talk to they reassure they will get to the matter. NO ONE HAS GOTTEN TO THE MATTER.. I am a retired RN and if I made such a blunder I would have been fired.I can only hope and pray that my mammogram is okay. I say no more because I don't want to bad mouth them . I keep praying to GOD that they will get their act together. read more

I would give Westcoast Radiology zero (0) stars if I could. My fiance and I checked in at 8:20 am for his 8:30 am CT scan appointment. There was a copay due of $198, and I handed the receptionist my credit card for payment. She took the credit card but told me that it takes 5 minutes to process through the computer. She then told me to leave the credit card with her, and she would run it through after she was finished checking in the people in line. Well, 45 minutes later, she still had not processed the co-pay. I went to the front desk and asked that she run the card through. She refused, because she was still checking a patient. I then asked for my credit back, and I told her that I would give it back to her when she was ready to run it through. There is so much credit card fraud, and I did not want my card "laying around." (I had four (4) of my credit cards hacked in the last year.) Well, she refused to give me back my credit card and was defiant. She said that I was accusing her of being a thief. That's when things escalated and got ugly, and we started screaming at each other. How can someone refuse to give me back my own credit card? I demanded to see the manager, who promptly had the receptionist run my credit card. (Also, it took less than a minute...not 5 minutes as she said earlier!) Then, my fiance came out and said that they couldn't do the CT scan and to get my money back. Thank God the Manager was still there, and she had the receptionist void the transaction. It's too bad that one person, a receptionist, can make ruin an entire business. She should be fired for her treatment of me. We will never go back to Westcoast Radiology in Palm Harbor! read more
