Al's response and efficiency was amazing. We previously had another company come out and evaluate our broken A/C unit. They told us we needed to replace the unit. Al was able to repair the issue the same morning we called, and in half the time we spent with the other company. On top of that, we paid a significantly less amount than what the same repair would have cost with the other group. We will be exclusively using Al and his team going forward. read more

Very disappointed! Furnace was installed by AL Air 7 years ago, very pleased and since then they service every year. This month of Feb 2025, I called for service to correct baseboard heater but somehow, after this particular service- there was a leak on the pipe attached to the unit and spills on the floor (for the last 7 years this was never an issue) It caused flooding in the floor right underneath and surrounding areas. So, I called AL Air to check and see what's causing this problem. But their email says upfront "$89.00 is a diagnostic fee. Additional labor and parts will be extra" considering and for them knowing that this just happened soon after their most recent service. So, I called them, why there is diagnostic charge right away. The lady on the other line responded, "that's just a start, they may find something more". What a rude answer. This company I used to love and patronize is going downhill. Will get ABC or Four-Seasons service after this. read more

Though I have experienced years of quality service from Al Air, I was very disappointed in the June 20 service. Sasha, the technician arrived as promised; he was a nice guy. My unit is SpacePak and though he did not know what SpacePak was, he went through the process of evaluating the unit's size and the number of ducts, both in the attic and throughout the house. He took photos of everything, which was admirable. In the end, he determined my unit needed freon, R22. He informed me that the cost was $800 but would be cut in half to $400 if Al Air did the required work. He promised a sales rep would contact me, if not the next day, very soon. It's been four day since I had the freon treatment and I have yet to hear from Al Air, which feels like a bait and switch scheme. Pay the $800 with the hope of cutting the cost in half, but that promise was basically lip service to get me to pay the $800 when Al Air likely never intended to provide a bid for future work. read more

9/16/24 needed my A/C serviced and Al Air was able to schedule me the same day. Technician Joey L serviced my a/c and replaced a part and had my cool air on in a short time. Thanks so much to the team at Al Air. But especially to Larry and Alexander (HVAC pro's). Last Wednesday had some new furnace and air conditioning installed. They replaced mine from 1999. Right on time... both working concurrently... immaculate clean up. Great personalities and OLD TIME country music to boot! Larry asked me..."went are you replacing this?"...I answered..."nothing really wrong... both work great.. I just thought do it now before it breaks down in the winter!" Larry asked me to take a look outside at the old furnace... he showed me the cracks... all in alignment but on different tiers... he said... most of the carbon monoxide was vented out... but with these cracks not all! I have always depended on Al Air... they are local... they do my yearly service... and they have always helped me when I needed a technician. Our Google nest thermostat completely stopped working properly. It was just 2years old and never lived up to its expectations. We were constantly re-adjusting the temperature and the settings. It was a major pain in the butt. On 1/7/2022, we woke up to a cold house and called Al-Air to try to get a new thermostat, on the coldest day of the year, so far. They were able to get us on their schedule "between 2:00 and 6:00 PM". The service man arrived around 2:30 and installed a new ecobee thermostat. This is the most honest service I have ever received! Twice now, the owner has shown up at my house - after business hours to fix heating problems - both times no charge! The first time was a follow-up visit from earlier in the day but at 11:30 pm! The second was yesterday to check about a frozen pipe in the heating system and advice on how to remedy.
