I'm going to write this review, but before I do that go ahead and order a beef/goat curry (if you like a little spice in your life) or a chicken korma (if you like more of a sweet and savory flavor) to-go. I've been trying to enjoy their food for months, and I will say I can't believe I didn't just come down on a weekend. (It's quite a ways for me, and with work... honestly I'm just making excuses. Now I know I needed to stop whining and just go.) The employees at the restaurant and grocery store both were very friendly! They helped me out tremendously as I had no idea what I wanted to eat and shop for, mostly because I've never had this type of cuisine. The flavor profile is insane. Especially in the three things I recommend. This corner of the world is known for their seasonings, and they 100% know how to use them. The meals here make you actually stop and appreciate the love that's cooked into the food. I honestly can't wait to try more meals here. This team really carries the flavor and quality to a whole new standard! It took me two days to type this up, as I honestly couldn't figure out how to put my experience into words. I really hope you enjoy your meal at least half as much as I have. Cons? I will say if you're not accustomed to this style of traditionally prepared meals, they do leave the bone in. Don't let that detour you, as there is a science behind the reason. Also, some people really like the bone marrow inside the bone. So that is the reason for the question mark, as I personally don't mind but know some people do. Never thought I would find a nice biryani in a small place attached to a grocery store cum butcher shop. Major advantage alert! They can use fresh meat to make this after they finished selling, so win-win. The moment my TO-Go order came in (fully packed), it spread the aroma in the entire room. THATS THE BIRYANI you want to eat. It instantly made me hungrier. It wasnt just hungrlicious, it was blissfully transcendental. You would remember the Biryani's you bought in India and shared among friends, and the ones you cooked in farm fields, the ones you cooked in shaadi's, and Telangana dhavaths. Bawarchi(Sandy Springs), Nawabi Hyderabad House, Dunwoody (who's using Hyderabad name but, LOL), come nowhere near this organic authentic chunk of heaven. Problem with these restaurants is that, they dont understand biryani and its subtleties. They think adding varieties of spices and masalas and making it hot is a biryani. No it isnt. It just gives you hot burns and a bad potty experience next day. Stop abusing spices and call it authentic or use Hyderabad's name and spoil it. I am from Hyderabad. Bawarchi/Nawabi HH DUNWOODY etc is like a road side goli soda who sells lot of soda, which is neither good, nor tasty or even safe to drink.. but people buy it cuz either they have low standards or it's very accessible and they dont care cuz their life sucks and they are in a nihilistic level pathos. Ya. Thats bad. Have some standards. Taste good food. Smell good things. Use the nose. Our evolution gave us a 250000 years of technologically advanced biological advancements. We are just eating shitty food and spending shitty lives. God's sake, start smelling. Use the nose before its late. Use the hands. Use the brain. Be organic. Thank you to my Bangladeshi friend Fate Z. (the first Yelper to review this restaurant) for introducing me to Al-Amin Halal Restaurant. Al-Amin is one of Buford Highway's newest restaurants. It opened earlier this year (2014) next to the QT gas station just south of I-285. Al-Amin serves halal food meaning it meets Islamic dietary guidelines. "Al-Amin" is a nickname for the prophet Muhammad. The owners and staff are Bangladeshi and the cuisine here is more Bengali and Bangladeshi than anything. There aren't many Bangladeshi restaurants in the Atlanta area. Panahar, also on Buford Highway, comes to mind, but the general feeling there is that their food is more Indian than it is Bangladeshi. Al-Amin is truer to real Bangladeshi food and Fate tells me it's also got that homemade authenticity. Several of the dishes on Al-Amin's menu can be considered Indian and Pakistani too. For clarification, the term "Bengali" can refer to people from Bangladesh or certain regions of South India. Al-Amin is new and clean. Day or night, the space is brightly lit and the floors are glossy and shiny. The business actually consists of both a restaurant and a grocery store. The restaurant is small. It has five tables for four and two high-top tables for two for a maximum seating capacity of 24. The supermarket is also small. There are three aisles filled with assorted Bangladeshi goods and halal foods. There's a produce section, refrigerated foods, packaged dry foods and snacks, and also cookware and miscellaneous items like cricket bats. Up front, they have baskets filled with bags of fresh, hollowed-out puri crisps (used to make panipuri). At the restaurant, you place your order at the counter. There's a small window behind the counter that allows you a peek inside the kitchen. Take-out is a popular option with many customers phoning in their orders and picking them up to-go. If dining in, self-serve disposable Styrofoam plates, bowls, and cups are available at the front, along with sturdy plastic cutlery, napkins, and condiments (mint and tamarind chutneys). Glass bowls of sugar are available at every table, intended for use with chai tea. Bottled and canned drinks are available in a fridge and include mainstream sodas like Coke and Bengali beverages like yogurt and lassi drinks. The food at Al-Amin is delicious and affordable. At the time of writing this review, 36 items are available on the food menu. They consist of samosas, biryani (rice dishes), curries, kebabs (boti and seekh), and various snacks and entrees like haleem (wheat, barley, lentils, meat), chicken tikka masala, shawarma sandwiches/wraps, palak paneer (creamed spinach), and chana masala (chickpeas). With the exception of the lamb biryani, each item on the menu is only $7.99 or less -- a great deal! Items I've tried (descriptions below): Vegetable samosas Chicken samosas Chotpoti Mughlai paratha Beef biryani Chicken biryani Chicken curry Fish curry Egg curry Chicken seekh kebabs Tandoori chicken Aloo gobi Naan Everything is made to order and cooked reasonably fast. The food comes out from the kitchen piping hot. The samosas are good. These are fried pastries filled with onion, peas, lentils, potatoes, and spices. The chicken samosas are prepared a bit differently than the veggie samosas. They've got a thinner, crispier outer layer, kind of like a spring roll vs. an egg roll. Both the chicken and veggie samosas are dense and savory. Chotpoti is a typical roadside Bengali dish. It's kind of a like spicy soup. It's made out of diced potatoes, eggs, chickpeas, onion, chiles, and spices. It's topped with cilantro and a flaky crust. It's indeed spicy and a little bit sour too. A hearty snack. Mughlai paratha is kind of liked a deep-fried stuffed crepe or pancake. The paratha is fried dough/flatbread and it's filled with scrambled egg, minced onion, and other ingredients. The exterior is crispy and is seasoned and topped with fresh cilantro and raw white onion. Very good. The biryani rice dishes are simply excellent. They're some of the best biryani I've had in Atlanta. The dishes are made with basmati long-grain rice and a combination of spices. I prefer the beef biryani slightly over the chicken, but both are great. The chicken biryani is a bit more aromatic and perfumey. Both plates consist of heaping mounds of rice and tender, juicy, tasty chunks of meat. The curries are good. They aren't as creamy nor as greasy or oily as a lot of Indian curries can commonly be -- a subtle, pleasant difference. The fish used in the fish curry is tilapia. I recommend the chicken seekh kebabs (Pakistani dish). The chicken is nicely roasted and seasoned. It's moist, appetizing, and flavorful. The aloo gobi (potatoes, cauliflower, spices) is not bad. Definitely order naan (oven-baked flatbread) for the table. Al-Amin has their naan recipe down right. It stays soft even when cool. Service is fantastic. The server lady is friendly, helpful, and speaks English well. read more

This is fantastic Beef Biriyani and when they make things spicy, they make things SPICY. this comes from a true chili head here. This is truly authentic Bangladeshi food. However they don't have "combos" so if you want for example Biriyani, Butter Naan and a salad, you order all three separately and they are all charged separately. read more

I'll start off by saying the food was pretty good. The Beef Curry ($9) was juicy and not too salty. The Tandoori ($9ish) was good but they burnt the underside a little. The naan was really good as well. It came with 3 average taco sized piece (but fluffier, of course) for $1.50. So, the food was good. But the prices aren't that different from a full sized restaurant. It's probably the same. But this place isn't really a restaurant. It's a cafe attached to a grocery so the prices should reflect that. Also, styrofoam plates and plastic utensils for the prices? Come on now. The interior is older and simple. Everything combined, they should lower their prices b/c I don't think they'll want to upgrade their facility. We started with 4 chicken Samosa, which are really really good. We had to refrain from getting more but it was pretty hard to do. I had the chicken masala with double garlic naan and rice. We also ordered the chicken vindaloo. I honestly like the masala more than the vindaloo, but they were both pretty good. The masala was very buttery and rich. You can ask for it to be spicy and it will have a little kick but nothing to stop you from eating! Our lunch was wrapped up with a the chomchom rollers from the dessert display. Its pretty much a very sweet pastry roll that is soaked in condensed milk, sugar, safron, and lemon juice. MAN was it good! It would go great with coffee the next time I'm there. Overall, this place is very tasty. The only thing is that the meal/dish is separate from any sides/rice. So the rice or naan is completely separate order. A friend of mine who I haven't seen in many years came to town for a convention, and I'd decided to meet him here for dinner. A couple of my Bangladeshi friends had said this was a good spot, and so I'd passed the thought to him, he'd agreed and it was a "date". It didn't occur to me when I'd said Tuesday that Tuesday would be today, the 14th of February. Most know it as Valentine's Day. I've known it as Eternal Singles Awareness Day. Still, my friend asked me if it would be okay, and, me thinking about the fact it's an authentic restaurant attached to a halal grocery store (and so there's no way it would be filled with lovey-dovey, googly-eyed lovebirds staring heart-shaped holes into each other's skulls), I told him it would be fine. True to my thoughts, when I'd entered a little before 7:30pm there was one table occupied with a group of three male friends chatting, and just the cashier/server at the till. Practically empty. We'd placed our orders at the register, paid, and had a seat at one of the pedestal tables toward the front. The table was uneven, and I did my best to ignore it as it wobbled periodically as one of us touched it. I'd ordered a plate of vegetable biryani (Bengali-style, so it had potatoes mostly), and my friend the Bangladeshi-style chicken roast. We both also asked for 1 naan. Each table has a pitcher of water, so that was our beverage. Upon ordering, the cashier/server, a nice, soft-spoken and patient, young guy, said it would be about ten minutes. True to form, that's about how long it took to come out. Both our plates were practically heaving with food, and the naan, sectioned in fours, seemed larger than I'd even thought. The plates also came with a side of vegetables (onion, small penciled cucumbers, and chopped lettuce). We dug in, relishing every bite, the both of us. The spices were just right (even more so for my friend, who had the somewhat funny misfortune to bite into a piece of a hot pepper he'd thought was a green bean, and spent the next couple minutes recuperating). They'd placed plastic spoons with our food for eating, but my friend ended up needing a fork and knife to really get into the chicken, since part of it was a drumstick still on the bone (as opposed to "cubed" chicken as the menu had described); that didn't stop him from enjoying it tremendously. On a neighboring table there were bottles of chutney that I'd meant to try, but hadn't. It looked a lot like something my part-Indian great aunt would make and send us sometimes. The food didn't need it, though. I'd ended up taking the rest home because I'd felt stuffed. He was staying in a hotel, so he couldn't take the rest, but he would have. I pass by Al-Amin at least once a week, as I go to farmer's market and white windmill every week. At first I only noticed their grocery market and in fact I went there to buy some goat meat, which I will say quite fresh and tender and reasonably priced. Only upon entering the supermarket I have realized, attached to it is their restaurant as well. And i'm so glad I did. Al-Amin is a Bengali/Bangladeshi restaurant that serves mix of Bengali(cuisine from the western state of India called West Bengal) and Bangladeshi food. The owners of this restaurant are Bangladeshis, so you can count on authentic, homestyle food from this place. Buford highway has two other Bangladeshi eateries - Panahar and Bismillah cafe. Al-Amin is not a full service restaurant as Panahar nor just a take-out place like Bismillah cafe. Instead they have opted for simple, order-eat-go style. So you pick your food from the menu(or appetizers inside glass display), pay for it and eat or take it to-go. They have about 4 tables with 4 chairs each and two bar tables with two chairs each for eating at the restaurant. So few of our friends decided to check the restaurant other day and ordered these items. 1) Samosas - both vegetable & chicken 2) Chotpoti - Popular roadside Bengali dish made mainly of chickpeas, potato and tamarind tangy-sweet sauce. 3) Beef boti Kabob 4) Biriyanis(chicken & Goat) 5) Curries - both Egg, chicken and beef curry. 6) Chana Masala - dish made of chickpeas, usually eaten along with naan/bread or rice. 7) Muglai Paratha - this dish that reminds me of 'Roti telur' in Malaysian restaurants, except here it is a deep-fried bread stuffed with scrambled eggs, onions and spiced mildly. We liked both chicken and vegetable Samosas but we preferred vegetable samosa's better. Also it would be a sin to go this eatery and not try chotpoti - a Potato, chickpeas and sweet-tangy tamarind sauce delicious goodness. Both chicken and goat biriyani were tasty with enough pieces of meats and not greasy at all. Egg, chicken and beef curries were made in proper curry style, not in some sweet & greasy sauce that some non-authentic Indian restaurant makes these days. And all these curries are just below $6. That, I would say, a great deal. Now for things we didn't like - The beef boti kabob we got was completely dry and some pieces were burnt so much that it was bitter. Also I found chana masala to be very bland and not so flavorful. I should mention the service at Al-Amin. For a restaurant of this style, the lady at the counter was very polite, prompt, very helpful and best of all, always smiling. When we queried about the menu, she suggested some of their must-try. In my opinion, this is what makes a restaurant experience from ordinary to extra-ordinary. I was only going to give them four-stars but they deserve an extra star for their customer service. The very few representations of Bengali food in the area and the main one being Panahar I was excited to try this. Casual clean place with tables and chairs if you want to eat in but take-out seems to be popular. A wrinkled paper menu hole in the wall style and typical slow service that is not too surprising. Have to wait 20 minutes for food. The menu mostly has items you'll recognize from the Indian restaurants and some you won't. Why go? Distinct Bengali style of cooking especially in the snacks. Definitely get the: Muglai Parata $4.99 - raw egg, onion, spicy green chili are stuffed inside the paratha and fried. You get delicious bites of the dough with this hot egg, onion, and chili combo. I visited Al-Amin with a group of Yelpers, and I was very excited to try Bangladeshi cuisine. I'd done a little reading ahead of time, so I had expectations that were met and then some. Fate Z. selected our food for us, and we ordered a lot. I wouldn't say we ordered everything on the menu but we got a varied selection of items. My favorite dishes were the chicken curry, chicken samosa, tandoori chicken and beef biryani. The vegetarian samosa deserves a shout out as well as the chicken biryani (it was more fragrant than the beef but not as flavorful) and the chickpea soup - which was super spicy but made chickpeas delicious (I am not a fan of chickpeas). The chicken curry had wonderful flavor and the chicken was melt-in-your-mouth juicy. The chicken samosas were a perfect hot bite of spicy chicken and veggies. And both the tandoori chicken and beef biryani tasted yum-yum good; I can't define why, but does good food demand an explanation?! I think not. The service was excellent, and I have to say that because the woman who served us handled us with so much grace and kindness. She would lower her tray with a smile and we'd all grab plates from it like hungry, hungry hippos. (You've gotta be a child of the 80's to get that reference!) And I never ran out of water. This meal was delicious and inexpensive. We ordered a ton of food for 12 people and we all paid 8.20 each before tip. Al-Amin is a great place to stop in after work for a small but filling meal. (And they have a Halal grocery store next door so you can so some shopping too!) Because this restaurant is small, I wouldn't normally recommend it for groups, but since they handled our party of 12 so well, keep them in mind when you want to get together with a few friends. I am a Bangladeshi foodie, so I am biased. Anything that is not close to original Bengali food will get some criticism from me. But I am pretty sure most people will like the food. This was the first time I had Bangladeshi cuisine and I am pretty impressed. I haven't learned all the names of the food, but I love the vegetable samosa. They had different condiments like a mint type chutney and a tamarind sauce that were great with different foods. The rice dishes were great, too. It was relatively inexpensive. Very casual and friendly diner. We ordered a variety of dishes in our group and received fast service. The lamb vindaloo was very spicy flavorful. The naan was also good. Ok so the food is your typical south Asian fair. The quality is hit or miss. My biggest gripe is the Kabob roll. Which is basically a lie. It is not a kabob roll it is basically gyro meet in a parata with mayo sauce and old lettuce. The chicken samosas are on point if they are fresh. That is it. Standard and simple but not amazing. The price is affordable but it reflects the quality. For those of you seeking something different try their chicken wings. Boycott!!! Scam! Untrustworthy!! So I've gone to this more than I should have... pretty much I every time I've been here either they charge me more than the cost of an item, charge me for a wrong item by telling me what one I'm getting one thing but actually giving me something which is higher in price (talking about meats) & you can't tell the difference especially when it's meat. My recent experience (which pushed me to write this review & encourage others to boycott this place as well) was that I found a DEAD FLY in my ground chicken!!!! This place is not up to grade, & extremely dirty! I've seen worm crawl in their flour & rice bags. An health inspector needs to pay this place a visit ASAP! Boycott! Boycott! read more

Get a Bangladeshi bang for your buck, and taste buds. They slowly serve supremely flavorful food at questionably low prices. How do they get the prices this low? Al-Almin is no Bhojanic or Chai Patti; it is a kitchen attached to a grocery store. The atmosphere is fairly bland with no decorations and small - a single large group could fill up the 4 four-toppers and 2 two-toppers. This matters because even though they have to-go orders you will be waiting 20 minutes in the restaurant while they chop and prep the food to order, the spices seeping through the small window into the kitchen. Oh, those fantastic fragrances! Here us what I ordered, all of which is recommended. Vegetable samosa - a fried or baked pastry with savory filling, such as spiced potatoes, onions, peas, lentils ($1/ea). Chotpoti - a mixture of boiled diced potatoes, boiled chickpeas and sliced onions and chillies ($3). This roadside dish, quells a snack-attack with its spicy, sour & hot taste. Shrimp Curry ($8) - a spicy & fragrant tomato & onion stew with shrimp . Naan ($1) - flavorful flatbread. As a once vegan, I love the use of fragrant spices to make bland vegetables sing. I was bummed when I missed Daniel's UYE at this restaurant a few months back because I'm always up for trying new restaurants. I pass this restaurant every morning on my way to work so was happy to make a visit with my friend Mary Helen M. one night. We were both starving so we ordered multiple items to try out for the first time. This restaurant is super casual yet the food is pretty darn tasty so it's worth a visit. Everything is made fresh to order so there is a short wait but it's worth it. Here are my top favorite items: Chicken Samosa $1.00 Chicken Kabab $1.99 Beef Biryani $7.99 Naan $1.00 Muglai Parata $4.99 Chicken Tikka Masala $6.99 Everything was delicious and the flavors/spices were on point. Israt was super friendly and accomodatinga and answered all of our questions regarding the menu. It's worth a visit if you're passing through on Buford Hwy. The restaurant is in a small shopping center across from the QT on the same side of the street, next to their grocery store. read more

This is the worst restaurant I have ever dined in. The meat of beef korma was uncooked, biryani tasted really bad. The bread was very cold. The wait time was 40 minutes. The customer service was awful. I will never come back here, and I would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

I will confess I had never had Bangladeshi food. I also confess I do not know anything about Bangladeshi food. So when we entered Al-Amin and I peered at the menu that was lying on the counter at the register, I selected what is usually my go-to entree at Indian restaurants, palak paneer. I'm always interested to see (and taste) different restaurants' takes on it. We also got the chicken biryani and an order of naan. You actually pay after the meal, which yeah, that is typical of most restaurants, but not restaurants where you order at a counter. The restaurant is connected to the grocery shop next door, so we wandered a bit there too. The food came out shortly after we got back to the table. At first I was startled to see the palak paneer -- the spinach was more of a chopped texture, and it was less creamy than your standard Indian palak paneer. Huge chunks of paneer (cheese cubes) sat in the concoction. Al-Amin's version is much lighter than Indian restaurants -- I wonder if this is typical of Bangladeshi palak paneer? I loved the cheese, it actually had flavor on its own. Great dish. FYI, the dish does not come with rice, I assume that is something extra you must order. But if you order a biryani, there is no need to order rice because it comes with PLENTY. Yes, the plate of chicken biryani we received was probably enough for two huge meals or three small meals. It was ridiculous. The chicken was very tender and the rice had great flavor, too. The naan was buttered and very simple, but paired well with everything. Total for the meal? $15. Can't beat that, unless you are a fast food place. Or a Vietnamese place. read more

I've been wanting to try this place for quite a while now and finally got the opportunity to do so. After a good workout I was pretty famished and biryani is all I had on my mind. One of my buddies was down to meet up there around 8:30 pm and thought that would work after some pickup ball. He got there a bit early and went ahead and ordered the Chicken Biryani to start. While I would have preferred to sample the goat or lamb biryani, I was very surprised by the flavor of the biryani. The bone in chicken pieces were quite succulent and there was a great buttery component to the actual rice. I'm assuming they are using long grain basmati rice. I couldn't get enough of some of the slightly fatty yet tender pieces in the biryani and I'm not much of a Chicken biryani fan. Maybe it was due to extreme hunger but that generally doesn't sway my palate regardless of how famished I am. My friend also ordered samosas and said the veggie samosa was pretty good with a proper shell. I'm assuming not the Chinese wrapped samosas, authentic chew and crunch factor. I decided to ask the gentlemen taking our order what gravy he would recommend today and was suggested the beef curry. This was pretty good as well, not overly oily or rich but great shining through of the cloves and "vagaar" for the base of the gravy. Beef was slightly overcooked but nothing proper hand usage to physically break down the meat didn't solve. Pairing this with the chicken biryani created a great flavor profile. The last item I ordered was the Muglai paratha and it was purely delectable. I haven't had this dish in Atlanta since I've moved here. JUST GET THIS ITEM!!! It makes the Malaysian curry puffs seem like an evolutionary inferior product. Overall, the 4 items I tried were good with the Muglai paratha stealing the show. Will be back to try beef biryani, lamb biryani, and maybe the CTM. read more

This place was off the chain!! We stumbled in here after grocery shopping at the BuHi Farmers Market. We needed something fast so we didn't even bother looking for a place with a good Yelp rating. I'm so glad we didn't too!! The lamb in my gyro was so juicy and perfectly spicy - one of the best gyros I've ever had!! I highly recommend this place if you're in the area!! read more

Finally got the chance to check this place out after years of passing by. Stopped in for lunch around 1 p.m. on a Monday. Al-Amin is the rectangular brick building, the grocery store's entrance is the one on the left and the restaurant's is on the right; however, both sections are connected and you can use either one. When we entered, there were only 4 other tables occupied. The cashier/server did not budge from his post, although he did notice us walk in (with such a small space, anyone walking in wouldn't be missed). We took the initiative and approached the counter for menus and seated ourselves. We decided on the chicken samosas, a lamb gyro, garlic naan, butter rice and chicken vindaloo. You will have to go to the counter and place your order. You will also have to grab your own plates, bowls and utensils that are laid out on a table next to the register. Everything is served on styrofoam plates. The food came out quickly, however, we noticed that our rice looked rather regular and not the butter rice we requested. We sent it back to the kitchen and was replaced 4 minutes later by another plate of similarly looking rice. Honestly, I'm not sure if they even gave us the correct plate because it did not look nor taste like butter rice. I did not really like my gyro. It's served with chopped up lamb instead of thinly, sliced patties like other places. There was entirely too much tzatziki sauce which made it very messy to eat. The chicken vindaloo was pretty flavorful but spicy. SO thought there was a green bean and popped it into his mouth only to realize that the whole dish had green peppers in it. Oops! It also made me wish that the water pitchers at each table had ice in it, as warm, tepid water does nothing to quench your tongue when it is on fire. The naan however was the creme de la creme of our lunch. It was light, fluffy, hot from the oven and just the right amount of garlic and parsley. Delicious! I wish that I could have given them 5 stars, but the service could have been bumped up a notch. read more

Our all time favorite restaurant when we visit Atlanta. As a Bangladeshi, I must say their food is absolutely authentic and perfectly cooked and flavorful. Kacchhi Biryani, Hajir Biryani, Beef Tehari, Haleem, mughlai paratha every authentic dish are delicious. Bangladeshi food is undoubtedly one of most savory and flavorful one that the food lovers around the world must try. I would suggest everyone to try this little hidden gem. read more

For the first time I will have to disagree with the other reviewers. I agree the prices are great but I have to say you get what you pay for. The restaurant is pretty clean and the service was fine. I should also mention that my parents are from Calcutta so I grew up on Bengali food and while the food here may be authentic; I found it to be very oily. We ordered the following items: Chotpoti - A traditional Bengali snack food with a mixture of potatoes and chickpeas that should be spicy and sour and I didn't find theirs to be either. Vegetable Samosa - They were pretty good but a little on the greasy side. Tandoori Chicken - I thought this was the best thing we ordered. Pretty flavorful and the chicken was cooked well, it was just greasy. Goat Curry - This is probably my favorite Bengali dish and I was highly disappointed in it. The curry was spicy and there was a decent amount of meat, but it was super oily (I could see a layer of oil on top of the curry that was a cm thick). I took a few bites of it before I decided I did not want anymore. Naan - Pretty good naan here. No complaints. I was not impressed with Al -Amin and not sure if I will be returning. It is cheap but not worth it in my opinion. read more
