The store was very quiet, I was unsure if someone was in the shop, altogether. Once greeted, it wasn't warm (that's okay), it was more matter-of-fact. Italian Cream Cake: This happens to be one of my favorite cakes, and I couldn't wait to take it home to enjoy. Well, what do I know, it was not edible. Well, I suppose it depends on what you feel is edible vs. not edible. I took two bites and felt like I was eating a Tres Leches cake (the consistency of, definitely not the taste), if I wanted that, I would have chosen a place that is known for desert. After those two bites, I threw it away. Pecan Tart: What was this? Think of a pecan pie, that's what you found under the fruit. I don't know how to describe what that was under it, but it wasn't good and did not compliment the fruit of pecans. As an app member, I also get deals; I've claimed their free drinks before, and I think it's a great value especially when I enjoy grabbing a milk tea to accompany my pastries. The drinks are top tier too; I've tried their lattes, milk tea and specials. Staff has never made my drink wrong and I've gotten them at a reasonable time even if it's busy. I will say, since it's a bakery, obviously come early to have the freshest items. Also as the day goes on, they will stop restocking, so by the time it's 5PM, most of their items are gone. We were told that wasn't an option. They did offer a refund, but because we paid in cash and were already so far away, that wasn't very convenient. Aside from that issue, everything else was good.
