We enjoyed it. We love Paris and we love French food. Especially their breads, pastries and sandwiches. Paris Baguette had only been open a week when we stopped by this week. There was a bit of a line but it went reasonably quickly. Upon entry, you grab a tray and tongs, then make your way down the line of self-serve enclosed glass cases with shelves of fresh good. We chose a savory breakfast sandwich, an Almond Croissant and another sweet pastry. In line, the offered to heat our sandwich which we allowed. Then we ordered coffees, paid and sat down. A few minutes later, we walked back up to collect our coffees. The breakfast sandwich was tasty, though the ham and cheese in the center of the sandwich was untouched by the heating process. Next time, we'll ask for a longer heating cycle. The pastries were good. Not as good as made that morning in Paris, but better than most places we've been in the US. We also took some dessert pastries home for later that same night. My wife's was sort of ho-hum but mine was fabulous. I had what I guess would be a cro-nut?? Sort of like a doughnut that was made in layers of pastry, then cut out with a donut cutter. It had a filling in the center and had a sugary coating. SO GOOD! We'll be back to Paris Baguette and we'll try other items and for sure, we'll ask for our heated items to be heated a bit longer. read more

Why pay three times as much for pastries I can find in any Mexican bakery? When all I have to do is tell them to bag my pastries in a box, there you go, pretend it's Paris Baguette. But for the review, my croissant was burned at the bottom =( and I am not 100% sure the bread was fresh. I experienced going to this bakery once, so did my daughter. Before I even walked into the doors, I knew that I would love it here. I'm always saying that I am not from Texas. It's so hard to find something that reminds me of Beverly Hills California. Call me a snob, but I like clean restaurants, with a lot of sunlight and quality food. This was exactly that and you can tell before you even walk in. Clean, fresh, and yummy dessert and savory things. Not sure if you've ever been to 85 degrees, but if you have, you must go to Paris Baguette. It's the same type process as 85 degrees, pick up a tray, a parchment liner for the tray and tongs, then pick whatever baked goods your heart desires. Then go to checkout where they'll take your tongs and calculate your baked goods. They'll also ask if you want any drinks. If you're looking for a quick bite, but not necessarily fast food, highly recommend this place. read more

What a nice surprise in an unexpected location! This bakery is a true gem! You must check them out (unless you don't do carbs and/or sugar). So many French pastries (both sweet & savory), some Korean treats, cookies, italian coffees, frozen beverages, breads, sandwiches, salads, wraps, & cakes!! You can grab & go OR dine in. You grab a tray, wax paper, box (two sizes available), tongs then fill them up with your selections. Take to the counter to check-out when you're done. The place appears clean, is well lit, and decorated nicely. There is a window where you can watch the bakers & cakers too if you want. Self parking out front. We really enjoyed our all our treats. The ham & cheese croissant was especially delicious warmed. Nutella donut also delicious. King cream donut is nice - cream is not super sweet. I can't wait to go back. Stopped here yesterday for a treat and it was so nice! The guy who helped us was super pleasant and accommodating. He gave an awesome recommendation with their new biscoff cake - it was so good! The store was super cute with a variety of treats to choose from. Kid-friendly (temp) hot chocolate was awesome. The bathrooms could use some work but they provided all we needed. We tried cinnamon twist, pain au chocolate, fruit tart, cinnamon twist & one other pastry (forgot what my husband had) the twist was a bit chewy for me. Everything else was good. This has been one of my favorite spots to get matcha and coffee for well over a year now. My favorite barista did leave and the coffee hasn't been the same but it's still good. I have been looking for a bakery around here for years. Not the typical ones that are in the area only doing donuts or Mexican pastries. I mean a bakery that has bread, croissants, cakes, etc. I was thrilled when I saw this pop up in a recent search for a French bakery and went there this morning. First, it's in the area where the Asia Times Square is so, I was a little concerned being that maybe this French bakery isn't so French. Second, when you pull into the parking lot, you see the signs and store fronts to the other businesses next to it, but oddly enough, you're at the BACK of this place, which has a nice sign, so it fools you into thinking that's the store front which is really on the other side. There's parking in the back, but of course as I pull to the front, there are no spaces. Clearly I knew this place would be popular and only proves that yes, we yearn for this type of bakery around here. Please God can I get a real croissant and some nice baked bread!? I don't like the setup. And here's why; While it is cute inside, all new and black-and-white, you have to stand in line and serve yourself. Now there's no menu, so I have no idea what's up ahead as I stand there. You grab a small box, not knowing if it will fit what you want or if you may need another. There are tongs you grab - do I share those or put them back or what? So as you go along - ok a croissant I'll get that and this donut looks nice, your box is full. And it's not until later, after standing in this line, that you do see that in fact this place DOES have those illusive Cronuts that hit like wildfire 10 years ago only they call them croissant donuts. OK - had I known these existed, I wouldn't have already filled my box. And because it's crowded and people are jostling for this stuff, you can't go back and get another box or put stuff back. It's impossible. To make it even worse, there is a beautiful case up front with cakes and sandwiches which you DON'T help yourself to. And so you have to memorize the thing you wanted and tell the girl at the register, but it takes so long to get up there that you forgot what you were looking at. Not to mention those horrific TV Menus that like to change and show pictures when you're in the middle of studying it, god forbid, to find a list of what they have, which they don't. I pay for my stuff, and because this is a true French bakery but in America, they have the inevitable tip screen. I think 18% was the lowest. I have to tip? I served myself - no one helped and there was no indication of help along the way of this yuppie highway. I chose no tip which makes you feel like crap which I'm sick of feeling like at these stupid terminals because you should never ever feel OBLIGATED to tip - only if you want to personally, which trust me I do a lot. Of course, and this also kills me, there's the nickel and diming of Americans with the "Do you want to round up your purchase?" What? No! Why would I want to spend even MORE for the pleasure of digging through mounds of food like I'm dumpster diving at Jordan Marsh back in 1970s Boston where they have better bakeries than this!? I get the stuff home. It's only ok. I don't think it's worth the trip. I had some ham and cheese thing but I didn't taste any ham. It was ok but not worth this hassle. I also tried that weird donut thing. It was terrible - like chewing rubber. So flavorless they should be ashamed selling them. The donut was like this ring of small balls set together in a ring with chocolate icing. It looked better than it tasted. Much like everything else here. Probably would have made a nice Christmas tree ornament. Wouldn't even have to shellac it. Just hang it there year after year. Now that I know this place has cronuts I will go back and get one someday but I'm in no rush. read more

My friends and I came here at the end of the day after an event in Asian Times Square and I felt like the varied of pastries was not as good as i had hoped. The shop is very similar to an 85C bakery, so if you now that process then you will understand how to get pastries here. The croissant donut looked better than it tasted, and I will refrigerate some pastries to eat them the days after and sadly the pastries just didnt do well reheated or out of the fridge. What a cute bakery and coffee shop. Well decorated. They have a great selection of beautiful pasties. The almond croissant and Raisin like cinnamon roll, I forgot the French name were both delicious. This was my first visit, and I decided to order through the app. I tasted each beverage as I checked my order. The lavazza coffee caramel coconut latte was delicious! The latte was smooth and creamy. The combination of caramel and coconut mixed perfectly together. I wasn't a fan of the lavender matcha frappe. The frappe was good but the lavender and matcha weren't strong enough. As I was walking through the establishment, I noticed there were additional items that weren't included on the app. I decided to make a second purchase and got some items free with my app points. The lavazza caramel coconut latte was my favorite item out of the 29. In my opinion that says a lot. When it comes to the desserts I recommend the coffee croissant doughnut, ganache, mocha, and tiramisu cake slices. The sweet rice donut was something different. This was my first time trying sweet red bean paste. Not an item I would purchase again, but worth trying once. All the other desserts were ok, but nothing stood out. When it comes to the savory items I enjoyed the crab meat croquette. It had a decent amount of flavorful crab, potatoes, and vegetables on the inside. The crispy panko made the croquette an award winner. The hot dog roll was coated with crispy panko and topped with ketchup and mustard. A party tray of these would be great for game night. The downside to my experience is I didn't enjoy most of my order. This has nothing to do with the quality of the items. My taste buds weren't impressed by most of the products. Three customers recommended I try another bakery nearby whose products and prices are better. I asked one person why are you here and not at the other bakery? The answer was paris baguette has certain products she enjoys that the other bakery doesn't carry. I've never been to the bakery mentioned but I agree paris baguette has items I will return for. Furthermore, the presentation of their products was exceptional. At the end of the day, I want to enjoy what I spend my time and money on. If I'm in the area I would go back for the savory items, coffee, and new items. I like the overall interior and layout of the store. The establishment was clean, and service was good. After seeing this place on IG I've been dying to try it and finally got a chance. I ordered online to pick it up on the way during a road trip. The first thing I noticed was that the inside was gorgeous. All the beautiful, freah baked pastrys and the decor was great. However, the service was lacking. I had to wait 10 minutes before even being acknowledged to even ask for my order. Then once I did the guy forgot to look for it causing a further delay. Once I had the chance to try the order my feelings were mixed. I ordered the strawberry supreme croissant, a sticky milk bun and a croissant donut. The cronut was great not overly sweet flaky and the lemon custard was delish. The supreme croissant was ok. The filling could have been a little sweeter but overall it was ok. We stopped by Paris Baguette for some pastries and tried several. My favorite was the coconut croissant - delicious creamy filling and great coconut flavor. They had both savory and sweet pastries. The pastries are on the pricier side. The atmosphere is casual, and it was brightly lit. You choose your own pastries and then take your tray to the counter to pay. There were plenty of tables. This place is unreal! Of course I have the worse sweet tooth and this place was calling my name. I went in and encountered a bright airy space. Yummy looking sweets and pastries everywhere. I walked up to a worker who gave me the run down. I grabbed a to go box and loaded up with sweets. I got an apple pastry, twisty donut, chocolate croissant, and a hot dog thingee. I ate the apple pastry, chocolate croissant, and donut during the car ride. The pastries were delicious, just perfect. The twisty donut I didn't love, it was too chewy and tasted a bit off. I think it's the oil it's fried in, not sure. The chocolate croissant was good but could use more chocolate. The hot dog thingee was okay not bad, just okay. I dropped into Paris Baguette in Grand Prairie on a whim while running errands on May 20. The place is spotless, very cute & the employees are friendly & very helpful. I was overwhelmed as soon as I stepped thru the doors but in a very good way. Their pastries looked amazing so amazing that I want to live there. I ordered the Turkey Mozzarella Panino, toasted - everything about this panino is delicious! My daughter ordered the Ham, Egg, Swiss on Brioche Bread - this was also delicious! We ordered Peach Iced Tea & it was hands down the best tasting Peach Tea I have ever had - this is a must order. Lets move on to the pastries. We got a box w/Very Berry Pastry, Mochi Donuts in Matcha & Strawberry flavor, Chocolate Croissants, Fruit Pastry, Blueberry Cream Cheese Pastry [YUM!] & the Sweet Potato Danish [also YUM!]. RUN....DON'T WALK to Paris Baguette! This is the best thing to come to Grand Prairie ever in my opinion. Located way too close to my job so, yeah i will be here a lot. I had a hazelnut latte and it was perfect, not overly sweet like other places. I also got several pastries to try but wanted one of everything. The Creme Brulee donut is phenomenal. I also got a coffee croissant donut, a creamcheese fruit tart, and a chocolate croissant. The customer service was great. Its really a self serve for the most part, except for the coffee and if you want a whole cheese cake or slice of cake. They had a tiramisu for $39.95, and it was a piece of art! This place is much much smaller than the Scottsdale, AZ location. The girls aren't very attentive here. Not as a big display of items to choose from which is rather disappointing and the seating is minimal as well. Girls need to listen, I asked for a sandwhich and I wanted it to be toasted. They didn't hear a thing I said. Thats why I'm giving it the amount of stars that I did. When it was time to go sit down mind you there was hardly anyone in there a lot of the tables were dirty and I guess they found that wiping the table and leaving what they wiped off on to seat where you sit was fine. Was even more disappointed. The front of the store front was filled with trash. People walking out and eating what they order, then just tossing it on the ground was even more of a turn off. I like a pristine place to sit and eat my food, didn't enjoy all the garbage I saw out front. Made what was eating not so appealing or appetizing. My suggestion to owner. Us you're the boss. Your job is to tell your employees to keep the place clean and in order. Whats even more mind boggling is it doesn't close until 9:00 pm. I went around 3pm on a Saturday & Asia Times Square is ALWAYS busy. With that being said, there were alot of things they were running low on or out of, I wanted egg tarts, which were gone. I know that they would be refilled but just a thought of keeping inventory stocked for demand. I know it may be the best pace they could keep up with. With the busy-ness of it all I think it was full man power for customer service, so the trash/counter area with straws & such was a bit messy as were a few open tables. I will say it's a nice layout, super cute, & looks crisp. Besides tables & counter mentioned, everything was so clean. So again, maybe just the crazy day but add another staff member if possible? The staff was truly wonderful, efficient, & so nice! They really worked through the long line while not compromising customer service. We enjoyed what we got - crab croquettes, ham & cheese croissant, almond croissant, tirimasu marscapone cheesecake, & a tirimasu tart. They also have good ice coffee!
