I gave them three stars because the store always has lots of products. There is a stampede of pedestrians shopping here daily. Hmmm well perhaps I should say locals. Thawed have been two people that were nice to me when I go in this store intending to shop. Two! Now that is very sad considering there is a slew of people working here in different departments. One of the people who was very nice to me was another customer. There is a hot Buffett in the back of the store which is part of the restaurant where you can order to go or sit in to eat. I had questions about the food and pricing as there aren't signs up anywhere. I attempted to ask the gentleman behind the counter about a dish and if there were combination specials. All he said was everything is separate. I replied okay well are they priced differently or is everything the same price? They are different he responded. Okay how much are the vegetables? $5.99. Alrighty, can you show me what size container that is? He showed me and I said okay cool can I have the vegetables and... Hahahaa I'm laughing now but I was not happy at the time. He put the container down and walked away and began talking to someone who walked up to the register. That happened last Friday. I was so hungry. I've been in this store several times. I've seen the Buffett food multiple times and tried to get information from staff back there many times. I'm shot down every time. Either a question is answered or I'm totally ignored. It's so disheartening because I want to shop everywhere and feel welcomed to spend my money. I've food this type of behavior at different places across the city. I don't like nor can I respect that. The food at the Buffett has never looked good to me but looks can be deceiving so I was certainly willing to buy it and try it. The good always smells very good. And I've done doordash from this restaurant/store so people obviously enjoy it. The one gentleman who is always nice and helpful to me is amazing. I love the way he smiles when he greets me and other customers. I love that he is pleasant and polite and how he takes me directly to whatever product I'm inquiring about. More employees here could follow his customer etiquette, it would be a more pleasurable experience for the customer. I'm not telling people not to shop here, I'm telling people to speak up speak out and make reviews. I believe the majority of the food is imported from Asia. The food is Indian, Bangladeshi, and the like. I love that they carry fruits and vegetables that aren't indigenous to what we typically eat as Americans. There are a variety of different fishes, poultry, and meats. There is a meat and fish market in the back of the store as well. The freezer section has many different types of frozen dishes and appetizers. Some of which I believe may be over priced but I'd still like to try.

Ever since this place opened, we have been a regular visitor for our weekly groceries. Within a relatively small time they have become popular not only to us but also among other fellow people from Bengal staying in Buffalo. Especially because of their butcher section, because we like fresh whole chicken and the butchers cut the chicken into custom pieces. Their goat meat (both fresh and frozen) are at reasonable prices and cheaper than other halaal food markets. You will see a tiny restaurant at the corner of the store right next to the butcher section. That's where they serve different dishes such as butter chicken, chicken roast, goat biryani. We regularly buy their fried chicken and their chicken samosas are too good. We will keep on visiting them!!

Chicken biryani & Tandoori was good. It's pretty cheap too if you are ordering for yourself only.

Two of us ordered a different pasta dish and they were great. One of us ordered a sandwich and it was phenomenal. Excellent cannoli and espresso. We told the staff we were visiting from across the river in Canada, which we do four or five times a year, and they were very friendly to us. Lots of products from Italy to buy, and we bought some dried pasta, extra virgin olive oil, and balsamic vinegar. A great choice for a delicious lunch. The decor is very cool.

My friend's House Sandwich was huge and filled with salami, arugula, roasted red peppers, and house-made mozzarella. Another friend's fried mortadella sandwich was incredible. And the fourth person in our party had a huge bowl of delicious ham and bean soup made in-house. We all had excellent espresso and superb cannoli. I have to mention the beautiful decor, which is very Italian islands. The place is a real treasure. Friendly staff, too. Dalfonso's is at 162 Allen Street in Buffalo, N. Y.

It's a well sized store considering it's in the city and they make use of every single inch of space. If it's Vietnamese they have it. If it's Asian or African they might have it too. Their frozen items are extensive. I think I counted three different kinds of fish heads alone (which...not something I'm gonna eat but it speaks to the variety of items). They are also very well stocked with snacks of all types, sweet or savory. They are a *little* bit more expensive than my usual go to Vietnamese store but it's worth it for the wide array of items and the boba tea of course.

All for only $25.00. Try that at Wegmans or Tops if you can even find it

I know it could seem silly to write a review for one item but there's only one other review for this place so I'll just share my experience! It's pretty fun to come here and be the lost minority person walking around as it's located in a pretty diverse part of town and I only see Asians walking in and out. The people here are so kind in helping out though - it's really sweet. The kimchi at Wegman's is pretty pricy so I thought there has to be a cheaper way to get this stuff. I don't see any Koreans at Wegman's (usually) and I know they must be buying it somewhere, right? I came in here and asked if they had it. It's stored in one of the coolers on the back wall and you can get twice as much for the same price here. It's crazy that Wikipedia says there's hundreds of varieties of kimchi. Whatever variety they sell here at Lin is so delicious. I will sometimes just stand in my kitchen eating it out of the jar with a fork. Supposedly there are recipes to use it for? Maybe one day I'll get tired of eating it raw. Plus, fermented foods are so good for you. Like so good. I haven't really tried anything else here. It's predominantly Burmese and Thai food but they carry other Asian specialties like kimchi. The rice bags they sell are of Thai origin. They sell all kinds of Asian produce. Their little produce section has stuff I never see at big grocery stores. Come and check it out - like M J's review said, they are super nice and helpful here.

This assures that you're not buying things that have been sitting on the shelves for years and that the produce is as fresh as can be.
