First night in Paris Montmartre area and I must say my girlfriend and I were pleasantly pleased. It was a short walk from our hotel (double win !) We were greeted by friendly hosts and very interactive owner. The food was fresh and prepared to your liking. The owner Seelan , was beyond gracious with his attentive service. We could not have had a better dinner experience after a long day of traveling. My girlfriend ordered the rigatoni coppa and loved it (she loves pink sauce ). I ordered the carbonara and found it to be more authentic than some I've tried while in Italy. I would definitely recommend this place and will be back soon ! read more

While visiting Paris I had a racing to Italian food. Our group of 5 decided to have dinner at there. The service was not too Parisienne. I say this because they checked in on us quiet often and let us take our time. They were patient and helpful with our ordering. The important stuff: The wine selection was decent. The cocktail selection is as dull as most bars/cafés/ restaurants in Paris. The food was wonderful. We got mussels for the table which were seasoned well. I don't suggest dipping bread in the left over sauce. It's a little salty. You can taste passion and experience in the menu. I got to try 5 different dishes. The portions are massive compared to what I'm used to. I was struggling to finish it. All in all one of the best Italian restaurants I've been to in the world. read more

Very nice staff, and the food was great. I got a rigatoni carbonara I believe and my boyfriend got one of the 'carne' options (it was chicken and spaghetti). The mojito tasted wondrerful (a little on the sweet side), and the antipasto along with bread were all prepared with love. The time we went was quite busy since it was dinner but we were lucky to get a good spot and kind staff. We were even offered a drink on the house. We came here for dinner on our first night of Paris and it was the perfect start to our trip. We were craving pasta and our hotel had recommended this place. It was still pretty busy when we went (around 9pm) so I recommend making reservations ahead of time. As we were waiting to be seated outside, a group of satisfied eaters came out telling us we must eat there and raved about the Linguine with mushroom cream sauce and ham/prosciutto dish. We took no chances and ordered that right away along with the Linguine with mussels and scallops dish. Both dishes were exactly what we had hoped for and more! The portions were actually generous for the price, especially the mussels. I think there were more mussels than pasta to be honest and wished there was more linguine. The mussels dish was light and refreshing while the mushroom cream dish was hearty and flavorful. Needless to say, we cleaned our plates. The mojitos were a treat too. The best part, though, was dessert. BEST. TIRAMISU. EVER. Seriously. So glad we tried this spot. One of the best meals we've had in a while. And the prices were incredibly reasonable. 54 Euros for 2 pastas, 2 mojitos and dessert!! read more

One of my favorite meals I experienced while in France! I can still taste it! I got the Ravioli Fellini and Tiramisu which was a recommendation from the waiter. Delicious!!! And the wine, which I don't recall now, was a dry red and equally as great. Small, quaint dining experience. Excellent service!! Not that this changed my experience but maybe they should consider soft music? It is a small room so I wouldn't want the noise level to ruin the experience. They won't let you down and it's a must if you're asking me. read more

What a fantastic experience! We dined here on our first night in Paris and the staff made us feel right at home! They were incredibly friendly and we were able to converse with them in English (and practice what little bit of French we speak!) Both the food and the wine were very well priced - a small bottle of wine and my pasta entree was 25 euro - and SO DELICIOUS. We only wished we would have saved room for desert! Make sure you make reservations, they were still packed when we arrived for dinner around 10pm and stayed busy until nearly midnight! Montmartre is such a lovely neighborhood, so take some time for a stroll before or after you eat. I would highly recommend to anyone! read more

Great local Italian where we had s really fun evening. The burrata was excellent as was my wife's linguine con gamberini though my rigatoni melanzane tasted strangely smokey. The waiters were fun and attentive and we made friends with the tables in both our left and right - especially the left table who plied us with wine and refused to take any money. My fiancé and I wanted pasta and chicken for dinner along with our friends and I came across some positives reviews for this restaurant and decided to give it a shot. Now, this is an Italian restaurant in Paris, but everything about this place is amazing. We would have been back the follow day to try the many other items on the menus that made our mouth water had our stay been longer. To start off, we arrived early at 6:45pm, knowing the restaurant opens at 7pm, and they offered to let us sit inside while they ate their meal before they opened. We didn't mind at all since we understand they open at 7pm, besides this gave us a sneak peek at a few of their menu items. The ambiance is casual yet intimate. It's a great place for a dinner date for two, or...like us, meet up with another couple for a double date. The waiters are in casual attire and very friendly. Our waiter understood and spoke English very well and could describe each dish to us with no problem. The menu was quite extensive. If you wanted regional delicacies or something less adventurous, they had something for everyone. And not just 3, 4, or 5 items, we're talking whole pages! 2 pages of pastas...penne, ravioli, and rigatoni. My out-of-the-box choice for the day was a ravioli with spinach and gorgonzola cheese (Italian cheese, sort of like a blue cheese, which I'm also not typically a fan of, but it was blended in so no noticeable potency) in a black truffle cream sauce. I am not a fan of mushrooms, but when one of the employees was eating their dinner, they informed us that the ivory colored cream sauce on his pasta was actually the black truffle cream sauce (no chunks of mushroom). It looked delicious. Knowing this, we were intrigued with even more menu options. Once we finally tasted it (all 4 of us had to taste this sauce) it was out of this world amazing! I'm an Alfredo lover, and I would hands down say this black truffle cream is my new #1. All 4 of us at the table sampled a little of each other's meal. All outstanding; lasagna and a rigatoni with the same sauce with other herbs and spices. If the entrée was any indication of desert, we HAD to try it! Once again, something you would expect from a exclusive restaurant. The warm chocolate soufflé with some sort of vanilla ice cream (close to a vanilla bean) was incredible, as was the "cooked vanilla ice cream" which was presented inside a wheel of perfectly ripe sliced strawberries and kiwi. Their cocktails were also up to par, had to go for seconds. To top it all off, their prices were far below what you would expect to pay for the portion sizes (a full plate), presentation, and mouth-watering creations. Most meals were between 10-15 Euros! They could easily double their prices and I would still come back! I believe the restaurant is family owned and they made us feel so welcome, even as we stayed from almost 2 hours enjoying the company of our friends and the restaurant's ambiance. They are not located on a main street, but only 20 meters down a side street. Perfect location, far enough away from the hustle and bustle. You're missing out if you don't experience this wonderful restaurant!!! read more

From start to finish the meal was excellent! The service the atmosphere and of course the food. The funny thing is, neither of us was actually hungry! We'd been Eating all day, but since we were there well, when in France... The fresh buffalo mozzarella was literally the best we'd ever had. The owner said they don't make it on site, it's is flown in everyday from italy. I had the pasta special which was the rigatoni with the Gorgonzola cream sauce and a fat slice of fois which melted and blended perfectly into the sauce. My wife had vegetarian lasagna. we loved all of it, the house wine was terrific as well. We had dessert, a tartufo, again as good as it gets. we can't recommend this place more strongly. By the way, this will be the least expensive meal you have in Paris! read more

Fantastic meal, amazing service, and unbelievable value! An entree, plat, glass of wine, and espresso was less than 25 euros, and I left stuffed. A meal of this quality in the states would cost twice as much, though it is very hard to find gnocchi this good. I recommend the gnocchi Fellini, which were as good (or better?) than Tuscany: pasta pillows sent to earth from heaven. The owner(?) and wait staff couldn't have been more friendly and generous, spoke perfect English, and were kind to let me use the little french I know. Worth a trip from across the city. I loved the appetizers. The muscles were to die for. The salads were very nice. I ordered risotto with shrimps as a main course. I don't recommend it at all. The waiters were very friendly. But the main course took 45 minutes to be served. This is my second time here. My first time was a much better experience. I had the spinach ravioli. It was amazing. read more
