(I needn't have done that since the fries also came with said sauce.) Those fries are very tasty, too. They're obviously straight out of a bag, but they've been sprinkled with this really tasty seasoning that elevates them considerably. As for the wrap, it's good. The ingredients work well together and the plentiful lamb is tender and tasty. My only issue was this underlying bitterness that was kind of a distraction all the way through. But it wasn't too problematic thanks to the other flavors contained within (as well as a liberal application of that sauce). Sidra's is definitely worth the drive to Oakville, and I'm curious about some of the options on their extensive menu.

To my surprise and delight, Chef Vito let us know that all of their pastas are vegan and he could easily modify the sauces to suit my diet. The food was absolutely delicious--it tasted just like the meals I had in Italy. The quality, attention to detail, and service were even better than I remembered. I started with the fennel and orange salad, followed by a beautifully adapted pasta dish, and every bite was perfection. We left so happy that we chose to support a locally owned restaurant instead of a corporate chain.
