Mixed koobideh

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Ordered takeout from here - mixed koobideh plate which came with a ground beef, ground chicken, grilled tomato, rice, salad and a drink.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The value was really good because the portion was huge and it was $18.99 for all that.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The guy at the takeout counter was very friendly and the whole ordering experience was smooth. They texted when my order was ready so I didn't have to wait around inside. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The rice was plentiful and fragrant.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ground beef was better than the chicken one.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The salad was average.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They have a patio which looked really nice.

the service was fast, friendly, and attentive. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The food itself was the highlight--every dish we ordered was so fresh and incredibly flavorful[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] . [[HIGHLIGHT]]A great spot to get a high-quality Persian meal without breaking the bank, as the prices are very decent.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]One thing to note for newcomers to Persian cuisine is the generous portion sizes, especially the rice.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We learned quickly that one order of rice is more than enough for two people to share. It's a small detail, but a helpful tip for a first-time visitor. Overall, a great restaurant that I would definitely recommend.

They have limited parking spots available on the side of the restaurant and there are 6 tables available for dine in. The staff and the owner are friendly. When we arrived, all the tables were full and had to wait for 5 -10 minutes for our table to get ready. But it seems like most of their customers order for takeout. We ordered a Family Package 3 and upgraded our drinks to homemade Doogh for +$2.5. It was served one platter of rice, one platter of kebab (1 Barg, 1 Chicken Leg, 2 Koobideh) and olives, pickles, jalapeños and raw onions. Kebabs were tender and juicy; I really liked Barg Kabab. My only comment is that some pieces of chicken Kebab weren't fully cooked.

I was craving for kebobs and found this place. I was surprised for the servings, it's huge.., 1 serving is good for two people. I even take home half of it. Food tastes so good. The lamb meat is so soft that it falls off from the bones. It's small place and busy. Parking is limited. Am coming back again.

I ordered the peanut satay salad and the date smoothie, as well as the Bubby soup (which is matzah…read moreball soup). Loved everything, loved the interior aesthetic, which is in line with their Montréal restaurants. The salad empire lives on in Toronto! It looks like they are doing really well, as there is a steady stream of customers, even during the afternoon. I'm glad they are expanding their restaurants in Toronto! We need more of these healthy restaurants with a beautiful interior design.

Disappointed, I opted for a new addition, to be told that they could only put the dressing on the side in a take out bowl, as the dishwasher was broken. The whole reason I love this place is because they add the dressing and serve in lovely, large bowls. They also only do takeout if you go in a hour before closing. Will give it another try, but feel it's going down hill. We left and went elsewhere for a salad. If the server had agreed to mix the dressings in the takeout bowls, we would have purchased them. Apparently they couldn't accommodate. I don't want a takeout, deconstructed salad. That's what made Mandy's so good, but I think they've missed that point. The place was empty on an early Sunday evening. Quite disappointing.

Mandy's is the perfect lunch spot if you're looking for deliciously dressed, very satisfying salads…read moreand bowls. Their menu is pretty extensive; many options and you can actually create your own salad by checking off a checklist paper at the cash. Their dressings are all super tasty. Their menu staff are super friendly and welcoming. The service is pretty quick, but lunch hour can be a bit hectic as one expects. Super cute atmosphere and front patio seating available on Ossington for people watching as you enjoy your salad. I come here regularly because it's just so tasty, and a healthier option. Highly recommend!

I ordered two salads from Mandy's and was extremely disappointed. Both were overwhelmingly kale and…read morequinoa, with very few of the advertised ingredients. There were barely any walnuts, and despite paying for extra cranberries, there were hardly any included. The kale made up most of the salads, yet it was tough & difficult to chew. Most importantly, these salads were by no means worth the price. For what was charged, I expected fresh ingredients and a reasonable balance of toppings. Instead, I received bowls that were mostly kale and quinoa, with the premium ingredients largely absent. What turned a disappointing meal into a terrible experience was the complete lack of accountability afterward. When I contacted Mandy's, I was directed to Uber Eats. Unfortunately, dealing with Uber Eats customer support was even more frustrating than receiving the food itself. The support process felt automated, impersonal, and entirely focused on closing the complaint rather than addressing the issue. Despite providing details about the poor quality of the food, my concerns were not taken seriously and no meaningful resolution was offered. Customers order through delivery platforms expecting some level of protection when food arrives in unacceptable condition. In this case, neither the restaurant nor Uber Eats seemed willing to take responsibility. Poor food quality is one thing; poor customer service from both companies makes the experience far worse. I won't be ordering from Mandy's again, and this experience has significantly reduced my confidence in Uber Eats as well.

The service was really great too and the store is clean and organized. The lady who helped us out was very nice and attentive. Great spot!

There are several things that I want to bring up with this location…read more PROs The pros are that the food provided is great, it tastes good and is healthy which is one of the main goals of going to the establishment. If you are aiming for healthy eats, then this is the place to hit up. Its in the downtown core and is accessible. They also offer a killer Portuguese Tart to wrap up a meal! CONs Unfortunately, this is where it goes off the rails a bit. Some of the cons to the location is that the price point isn't in line with other similar locations in the area. I get more salad/rice bowls from Salus just up the street for $5 cheaper. There is no differentiator between the two on this level. I think its reflected in the customer presence as well as I've rarely seen the location filled at lunch. I would say the return for a $20 rice bowl, the amount of rice and protein provided was concerning and miniscule in comparison to competitors in the area. The last con I have is that the location doesn't operate in cash which may be uncommon these days, but it can be annoying to those who do and don't have alternative ways of paying. The food is fine, but comparable and cheaper options are available nearby. I have no compelling reason to return here and that is one of the issues I face when I think about this location. Give the public something different or at a more competitive price to succeed.

I've actually had Brasa previously many years ago for a Yelp event but this time I decided to stop by the Queen St. location to grab dinner. Their menu boasts unique flavours where ingredients are fresh and nutritious. I decided to order a bowl from their phone app where my order was made in about 15 min. Upon arriving at Brasa, the space is accessible where the cashier/food counter area is to your right. On the left there is bar seating where you could enjoy your items there. I mentioned to staff that I was there to pick up my food where it was already made. In terms of food, I ordered the tuna ceviche bowl (Organic tricolour Peruvian quinoa, marinated tuna, avocado and sweet potato blossoms, two types of Peruvian corn, finely sliced red onion) which cost around $17. I had the bowl for dinner and it felt super healthy with the quinoa, avocado, and tuna! The ingredients tasted great together and the crunchy corn added a crunchy textural element to the bowl. Overall, a healthy alternative in the Queen/University area!

They had so many variations of these bowls and lots of vegan and vegetarian options to choose from. The service via Uber Eats was quick and had no issues with that. When it came to the food, I was certainly underwhelming. I was not a fan of the Smoky Chipotle bowl and had thought I would love it based on the ingredients in the bowl. I found it lacked flavour and was just completely bland. The sauces had a weird aftertaste and I just did not enjoy the bowl overall. I hope the rest of their bowls are good and I just got a one off not pleasant one. I don't think I would be ordering again from this place. 5/10 recommend!
