My son, Alex was met with kindness and positivity from the staff and all the kids in his grade. He never had a problem with anyone. They have many activities for the kids and their families with plenty of volunteer opportunities. Super communication from Mrs Marsh and all of the teachers. They even have an app that the parents can use to communicate with one another. Holy Spirit is very much a family that we were proud to be apart of. We will definitely miss this school. Such a blessing!

Then principals changed yearly sometimes mid year, the Preschool director changed, and the kindergarten teacher retired. My child didn't have a productive year in kindergarten. The teacher couldn't control the class and homework was taken from a Pinterest idea. For the money paid it was a waste. Preschool, my child had a traumatic experience and would refuse to go after a month. My child was so excited to start school and go and that all changed. My child started feeling petrified of the school director. What was once before a loving community gradually turned into an environment where the kids felt isolated and insecure. For a place that is teaching about the love, nonjudgmental acceptance and mercy of the Lord didn't set an exemplary environment.

I have found the teachers and staff accessible and always willing to help the students learn, especially students who may have difficulties . Finally, I would also point out that the new school facilities are excellent , and adds to the educational experience . We LOVE the school!

**"**As a former student who attended this school with my two brothers from 2019 to 2023, our…read moreexperience was incredibly isolating and painful. Within our first few weeks after transferring, my older high school brother was called the N-word by a fellow student. As middle schoolers, my other brother and I had to witness that, while constantly feeling a heavy, quiet hostility from parents who didn't want us to be friends with their kids just because we were among the few Black faces in the room. The students were mostly passive, but the constant microaggressions about my hair and the casual, stereotype-driven biases made it exhausting to just exist there. After George Floyd's murder, the school put on a performance of having conversations about American racism, but it felt empty--they did absolutely nothing to actually protect or support the few Black students they already had. I wouldn't wish the loneliness and anxiety of my time there on anyone. I am profoundly grateful to the few staff members who genuinely cared and tried to protect us after my brother was called a slur. But I fear nothing has truly changed, and I refuse to stay silent while another Black or minority student risks going through the same pain we did. I expect a response to this review, and I am entirely open to a direct dialogue with the superintendent to discuss how the school actually plans to fix this culture.

The teachers and staff there are very supportive of the children growth and needs . Especially Mrs.CC the Director of the Preschool makes every child feel welcome and an easy transition to kindergarten. The school offers a nice playground in the back and a large open grass to run around. In addition to regular class activities and educational programs. My children always came home with some type of project they work on at the day and puts a smile on our faces that they all learned something new each week. Holy Spirt Preschool go above and beyond during special holidays and provide a nice summer program. For example around Xmas time the teachers prepare students to sing in the Xmas program which was nice to see them perform. Also during summer each week they explore a new activities for the children. My children loved all these special events and activities. . We are pleased with Mrs Cc, Mrs Liz , Mrs Mary , They communicate daily and are the benchmark of how preschools should be. Highly recommend for parents looking for a safe and educational preschool environment

The overall environment felt negative and, at times, openly unkind. I witnessed staff speaking to students in ways that were belittling and inappropriate. In one instance, a teacher used name-calling toward students--something that should never happen in any school, especially one that claims to reflect Christian values. Administration was equally frustrating. Concerns from both parents and students were consistently dismissed rather than addressed. Instead of feeling heard, I felt brushed off and judged. During a very difficult time in my personal life, I expected neutrality and professionalism, but instead experienced what felt like bias and a lack of basic understanding. Leadership was particularly concerning. While interactions could appear polite on the surface, the follow-through told a very different story. Decisions felt inconsistent and unfair, making it hard to trust the administration at all. The front office experience made things even worse. Shannon, who is often the first point of contact, was repeatedly rude and unprofessional in my interactions. The tone was unwelcoming and dismissive, which sets a terrible example for both families and students. First impressions matter, and in this case, they reflected a much deeper problem within the school culture. To be fair, not every staff member reflects this environment--Mrs. Quilcy stands out as kind, patient, and genuinely supportive of students. She deserves recognition for the way she treats families. Unfortunately, one positive example does not outweigh the broader issues. For a school that promotes faith and character, the lack of compassion, professionalism, and willingness to listen was deeply disappointing. I cannot recommend this school to families looking for a supportive and respectful environment

The teachers and staff are wonderfully communicative and genuinely work to build strong partnerships with parents.
