I remembered that their advertised price was only 4 cents a gallon more. Well... that's true, if you are paying cash, and it does say "Cash" in slightly smaller letters on the sign. If you wanted to pay by credit card, it was an additional 6 cents more per gallon today. Gas-comparison websites do indicate this too. This price is actually competitive for the immediate vicinity. But if you are driving south, you will see less expensive gas prices towards and through Wilmington. On the other hand, the gas prices here are actually better than they were when it was previously a Shell station. It took an unusually long time for my credit card to be processed at the pump, something like 30-45 seconds. I don't know what's normal. When paying at the pump, you will also be asked if you want a car wash. It's possible you may get a discount on a car wash if buying gas, I don't know. This station also has an air hose - don't know if it's free. The convenience mart is fairly large, but it IS a convenience mart. On the plus side, you get convenience store hours. On the minus side, you pay a bit more for some items than you would at nearby grocery stores.

He is out there plowing the roads so this employee can be at her job and that is the treatment he gets??? He was not asking for anything free and since he could see the coffee was ready why couldn't she sell him a cup? The attached convenience store is medium sized for a Mobil Mart. They have public bathrooms. Speed Pass does not work at the pumps here. They advertise Speed Pass and even say Speed Pass is now linked to the Plenti rewards card; however, I went to two pumps this morning, and Speed Pass would not work at either one of them. I had to go into the store to pre-pay, which detracts from the convenience of having Speed Pass. Also, I could only put in a set amount rather than filling the tank. The clerk who assisted me this morning was attentive and courteous.
