I remembered that their advertised price was only 4 cents a gallon more. Well... that's true, if you are paying cash, and it does say "Cash" in slightly smaller letters on the sign. If you wanted to pay by credit card, it was an additional 6 cents more per gallon today. Gas-comparison websites do indicate this too. This price is actually competitive for the immediate vicinity. But if you are driving south, you will see less expensive gas prices towards and through Wilmington. On the other hand, the gas prices here are actually better than they were when it was previously a Shell station. It took an unusually long time for my credit card to be processed at the pump, something like 30-45 seconds. I don't know what's normal. When paying at the pump, you will also be asked if you want a car wash. It's possible you may get a discount on a car wash if buying gas, I don't know. This station also has an air hose - don't know if it's free. The convenience mart is fairly large, but it IS a convenience mart. On the plus side, you get convenience store hours. On the minus side, you pay a bit more for some items than you would at nearby grocery stores.

They advertise Speed Pass and even say Speed Pass is now linked to the Plenti rewards card; however, I went to two pumps this morning, and Speed Pass would not work at either one of them. I had to go into the store to pre-pay, which detracts from the convenience of having Speed Pass. Also, I could only put in a set amount rather than filling the tank. The clerk who assisted me this morning was attentive and courteous.

The attendant (man with scars on his face) pretended to pump $5.00 in gas into my girlfriends car, and then collected the money. We realized it 5 minutes later when the "mileage to go" indicator on the dash didn't change or the gas tank needle didn't move. NO GAS MADE IT INTO OUR GAS TANK. Some type of scam going on?? Super Petroleum manager named Chris (very nice man) did refund me the money a few days later, also saying "the attendant never had a complaint against him before." Super Petroleum apparently shares/rents space from Stella Auto Service (Joe the owner also seems very nice.), and the two businesses seem to be not related. The cash price for regular gas was very good, but what kind of deal is it when you pay money and get nothing? Customers should use caution and be attentive when going to Super Petroleum when this attendant (man with face scars) is on duty. Con artists working there?? Buyer beware!
