Absolutely terrible. Very tight parking and gas pumps dont even work, they automatically shut off after a quarter gallon for no reason.

My son got a flat. Pulled into the place and the attendant shut the lights and left him out in the cold. Got in his truck went home. Horrible. (Luckily I was ten minutes away). read more

BEWARE! THESE GUYS WILL RIP YOU OFF! I stopped at this Shell station on a Sunday because I had an emergency. One of my lug nuts fell off the back wheel while I was on the highway, causing my wheel to come loose and shake. I needed a replacement so I could get home safely. The attendant brought out a box of old, beat-up lug nuts and would not let me try to find a fit, even though he seemed to have little knowledge/experience of lug nuts. We settled on one that kinda fit. Then he tried to charge me $15 for a used, ill-fitting lug nut. Yes. $15 FOR A USED LUG NUT. I said, "Really? You are going to charge me $15 for a used lug nut that does not fit right? Really? They are $4 new." He acted like he did not understand me, and said, "Fifteen dollars. One - five," as if I thought he said $50. I was already harrowed by the scary drive with a loose wheel, so I was in no mood to fight. I gave him a $20, and he returned with a $10, acting as if he had just cut me a great deal. He knew he was ripping me off. He was smirking like an evil troll. Next day, my tire guys charged me $5 for a new lug nut, checking the threads on the studs, and checking the pressure on all the tires. That gives you an idea of how outrageously exploitative Mr. Shell guy on Middlesex is. Avoid this Shell station. read more

Went for a check engine light which I already knew was the transmission code. The first guy took the code reader to check and surprisingly it was the code for my transmission. After waiting 30 minutes they finally put me in line an hour later they were finally looking at it. They parked it and it sat for another 30 minutes till they bothered to talk to me. They said I needed a dealership only pump that cost 300 and 350 for labor. I was skeptical so I got a second opinion at another shop. Turns out there are two pumps in my hybrid, both were fine and the part he was trying to sell me was wayyy below what it should have costed. They tried putting a used or after market part in my car when it needed nothing at all. Seriously unimpressed by there service and lack of honesty. read more

Abe I believe hes the owner - was just a jerk to the lady in front of me 2 year old Cadillac that failed inspection and rude to me as well. Said he has enough customers he didnt need her or I. Well I can you this he doesnt have me any more... I dont need $3 a gallon gas. Or $25 windshield wipers... Please dont even consider this for a inspection sticker and I'm sure they cant fix a car either... they seem to do a majority of their business do inspection stickers because they have 7 days a week availability read more

If I could give this place a negative rating I would. Someone has been stealing money out of my checking account for months after I used my debit card at this gas station. I traveled to Wilmington back in February and put gas at this gas station before driving to the airport. I reported the card lost and got a new card, but someone at this gas station has found a loop in my bank where they always charge an amount that is approved by the bank and every week I need to keep calling back my bank. Abe (owner) and his mechanic are unbelievable. Every time I bring my vehicle in, they always are pleasant and appreciate the business. HONEST. This last time, I lost my brakes on the highway and I had the truck towed to the shop. They gave me an estimate and did the work. He called me back and told me he didn't have to do a repair, which saved me 180.00. Another time, he gave me a break on the labor. I highly recommend Rt.62 SHELL. Hands down, the best. read more

My check engine light was on so I went to the shop to have them diagnose. I first went in on a Friday afternoon, was told to come the next day as they were busy right now. On Saturday I was in the shop as early as 9am, and they said they never took appointment. I insisted to wait. After 2 hours waiting someone started to work on my car. The error code was P0455 EVAP system leak. The manager said my car need to replace a charcoal canister and he wanted $500 for the part and $95 labor to put on. He's saying "this part usually does not go bad but you've got a Georgia plate so I assume it got lots of dirt when you were in Georgia." I saw this part sold on Amazon for $210 so I just said no, but was still charged $95 for diagnosis. They did not give me an detailed receipt. My check engine light was reset, and it's not on after 3 weeks driving. Obviously I do not need to replace any part. Greedy and dishonest guys at this shop try to cheat a girl who does not reside locally. Very bad experience. read more

Don't go here - I had a question about a charge that I thought was too high, The owner immediately started to yell and argue with me, told me about his insurance and lights etc and how I have no idea what his costs are - which is true , I don't, but I wasn't there for a lesson on his costs to run a business. That too me, is not justification for what I thought was an overcharge . When I explained I didn't want to argue with him, I just thought the charge was too high he told me I was arguing with him ( Customer questions are arguments?) , I guess Customer Service doesn't apply here. As the owner said - "they don't want customers like me, I am not worth it".- So go here if you want , I will go somewhere else where I don't get yelled at .- The amount in question was approx $15.00 - not worth it .- too many other places to go . read more
