A year ago, I left a negative review in hopes they would improve. They have. The food is quite good and flavorful, which was my primary issue. It is consistent. I love their combination pad Thai and I love their spring rolls and egg rolls and their sushi. Pretty decent too.

We were seated immediately. A lovely young woman found us a table in the back, and left us with menus. The menu is immense, and it was difficult to decide on what to order. We stuck with our favorites - shrimp and chicken pad tai. Our food was brought out as soon as it was done. So it was hot and delicious. I don't know what is in the sauce, but it was intoxicating. Husband agreed, as he devoted it and his shrimp. I got a to go box for the little bit I had left. I didn't want to get too full. The place is decorated for Valentine's Day, and also has Asian paintings and figurines. It's quite cozy and happy inside. They sell beautiful orchids for $10 and $12. If I had better luck keeping them alive, I would have bought one! read more

Orchid Thai is definitely one of my favorite Thai places to visit in New Port Richey! I got their chicken Pad Thai and my dad got their fried grouper fillet with sweet and sour sauce. Both came with a soup and salad because we went there during lunch hours. You can never go wrong with a classic Pad Thai and I recommend making it medium spice, if you appreciate a little kick to it! I also recommend getting their Thai tea to help soothe down the spice. The fried grouper was seasoned very well and nice and crispy under the layer of sauce! It also came with rice and veggies mixed with the sauce. Very good food! The service was great! We dined in and we didn't have to wait long for the food to come out. The ambiance is like a homie/mom and pop restaurant. They do have seating for big group parties. They also sell orchids and succulents in the front! Give it a try! The server was excellent. The waiter was attentive and the dishes came out quickly. The food was not as I expect. I like my Thai food to be hot. We got here at a little before 5 pm on a Saturday night. There were only a handful of tables taken. The place is clean enough but it is definitely not immaculate and the plaza is old so the place has signs of wear as well. The menu is large with a nice selection and typical prices for a Thai restaurant. The egg rolls were very crispy and tasty. The Tom kha soup was hot and had chicken, mushrooms, red onions, and lemon grass in it. I thought the flavors was spot On and one of the better Tom kha soups I've had. The garlic & black pepper tofu was fantastic- A good ratio of tofu to veg and a large serving of white rice. We enjoyed our meal thoroughly and would eat here again for sure. By the time we left around 6, the restaurant was filling up quickly. And they have a sign on the wall that if you pay with cash you get 5% off your bill before tax so that is good to know if you dine in! read more

Had a delicious dinner from Orchids! I ordered delivery so I can't comment on the restaurant itself but the food was so good. I had the Tom Yum soup which was piping hot, sour and slightly spicy which I loved. I also got the basil chicken entree which was perfectly cooked and super fresh. I did a to-go order right before 3PM, so they honored the lunch pricing. I ordered the shrimp pad Thai with egg roll (versus the salad option) and a Thai iced tea. I love Thai iced tea & this one hit the spot with the flavor & sweetness. The side egg roll wasn't anything special, but the dipping sauce (think similar to a sweet chili / sweet n sour) made up for what it was lacking. The shrimp pad Thai was fresh tasting & a good portion for the price. About 5 average size shrimp mixed in with the pad Thai noodles & other ingredients. I paid just over $12 for the meal & drink. Open seven days weekly, its hours are all over the place (& sometimes split), so check before you make the drive. This is a restaurant whose dining area is essentially three separate rooms. There are tables, but also very comfort booths-- see pics. The interior was clean & organized. Potted orchids are on display & for sale-- see pic. The menu is B---I---G. We decided to sample two appetizers, two entrees, & one desserts. We also took home Crab Meat Soup ($4.95) & Kimchi ($6 for 24 oz). EVERYTHING WAS SPOT ON IN FLAVOR! The food pics speak volumes-- the Beef Pad Thai @ $10.95 was flavorful w/ the noodles cooked perfectly. The Tofu Bamee @ $10.95 was very good-- the Tofu & veggies so tender. The Spring Rolls @ $5.95 were the BEST either of us had ever had anywhere, & the Curry Puff @ $7.95, w/ its delicate flakey crust, was great. Medium is the new spicy! Decent Thai, but extremely spicy. The cashew nut sauce was too thin, and I'm surprised at the portion. The veggies were light and mainly consisted of sliced cabbage. Slightly disappointing, but delicious all the same. read more

Ordered through DASH. Deserves 0 star. This was the most terrible delivery experience I've had, as far as I can remember. The food was delivered to my hotel, and not only was the quality appalling, but they also failed to provide any paper napkins, forks, spoons, or chopsticks. Here's what I ordered: 1. Pan-Fried Dumplings: These were excessively greasy and rubbery. It was the first time in my life I didn't like dumplings. 2. Thai Spring Rolls: Greasy and tasteless. Completely unappetizing. 3. Crab Rangoon: These were filled with some kind of curry mayonnaise, with NO trace of crab whatsoever. Absolutely misleading. 4. Tom Kha Chicken Soup: The soup tasted good, but it contained only one small piece of chicken. Overall, the food was disgusting, and it cost me $38, plus tip. I feel like I have been cheated. This is our go-to Thai restaurant in the area. The food is always consistently great, whether we dine in or order for take out. Our staples are the Crab Rangoon, the Steamed Dumplings, Thai Basil Fried Rice with Chicken, the Panang Curry with Chicken. Sometimes we alternate the curry with the Pad Thai. The spice levels are on point, the medium tends to be little spicier than I like but with medium the flavors come through better than mild. The staff is very friendly and one night while dining in, we met the owners. Definitely a great find in Pasco County!! Worst experience ever. We ordered in person to go. They took an hour. 3 items missing. Greasy disgusting spring rolls. Old rice. They are not cheap either. I feel like I was robbed. Paid 30 for mine, got to eat a crappy measley salad and some old brownish white rice. They should be ashamed. Omg! The location should not be judge from the outside the small plaza with no curb appeal. But the food and sushi are absolutely delicious! I ordered the shrimp pad Thai which was enough for three people. It was fresh had the perfect amount of crumbled peanuts and large shrimp. The shrimp fried rice was a hit they added eggs an again large shrimp. Also we ordered a sweet and sour chicken. I was my first time having it, it was okay I think my taste buds just wasn't use to it. I will definitely be back here again.
