Quaint little breakfast spot. Diana was our server and she was very friendly. She was prompt with the coffee and kept the refills going! We ordered the spinach omelette and a smothered biscuits and gravy. Both were really good. The gravy needed a little more pepper, but was tasty. The. Schutte were cooked nicely. Eggs dine to request. The spinach omelette had a lot of spinach and provolone cheese! The rye toast had too much butter, but that was the only downside. Diana was kind enough to share the menu from their neighboring Ala carte After hours that opens for dinner. I appreciate that the receipt had a cash pay price and credit card price ! We love this place and breakfast is the best. They have homemade pancakes and waffles, homemade sausage gravy and biscuits, corned beef hash, and all sorts of choices of eggs. Best is their homemade coffee cake and fried cinnamon rolls. The staff are ready to serve you and there is never a long wait. If you prefer to come back for dinner they serve it through the weekends and have everything from spaghetti and meatballs to prime rib. Our grandson loves their chicken fried steak with sausage gravy and Pat likes their meatloaf. Highly recommend. read more

This breakfast place is really good, everything on point. Coffee was hot, eggs over medium perfect, grits perfect, we all loved their rye toast a little thicker than normal but good stuff. First time visit - we walked in and immediately said "Good Choice" ! Old diner feel, impeccably clean!!! Our waitress greeted us and asked first time? I guess they have lots of regulars- with good reason. We immediately got drinks and the waitress made some suggestions of popular items. I had trash potatoes with eggs, very good, ample portion, excellent value. Others had biscuits and gravy special. All were highly satisfied with the food and service. We will definitely go back. We visited on a Saturday morning at 8:30 and expected to have a wait but we got right in. The wait staff was fast, friendly, helpful getting the three grandkids settled and the food came out quickly. Went with a group of 6 on Memorial Day and the place was fully packed by 9 am. Even though it was slammed, the service was amazing. They seated us outside because of the excess amount of people in the restaurant. I ordered the trash potato's which is what the waitress recommended. Breakfast food is easy to make good, yet they didn't hit on the spot. They claim a lot of their food is homemade, but the "home made sausage patty" is a burger with breakfast seasoning. Not only that, but all of the toppings on the food were canned and had an artificial taste. This place gets a 2/5 on the food, but a 5/5 on the service. Waitress was fast, helpful, and super attentive. Overall the food is somewhat justified by the price. It's a cheap priced food for a cheap tasting breakfast. read more

Wow. Just plain bad. And I used to be a short order cook decades ago. We went while visiting town. We actually went as it was the only place to have breakfast nearby but also because the other reviews (the negative especially) were hilarious. Like they were bothered this place had no "chefs" lol. But then we went. Ordered food. All fine. Wow. Just terrible. I ordered biscuits and gravy and fully expected instant sausage gravy and cheap premade biscuits. I was disappointed. It literally tasted like flour. The biscuits were raw. Friend ordered an omelette and the other got scrambled eggs. The omelette was a pile of stuff like a scramble. Like it fell apart in an old pan. The scrambled eggs ironically were one piece like an omelette! The side sausage was actually not bad surprisingly and the orange juice was good. But then we got to the grilled cinnamon roll I got to go for my wife. We joked the whole way home if it was gonna be like a store bought in the wrapper mess. Wow. We were shocked even for that. It was store bought which is fine. Then they must have butterflied it and burned it on the grill. We all tried it for joke sake and wow that was terrible. Went there for the first time. Looked busy, so I sat at one of the empty seats at the bar. Had dirty plates and old coffee and creamers that were sitting in front of me, but figured someone must of just left, and they would clean it up shortly. I sat and waited and waited for at least a " Hello, we will be right with you", but that never came. I figured they were kind of busy, so I waited 10 more minutes and more of the same. I watched waitresses clean other areas up, bring checks, and visit about the weather with other patrons. After waiting for over 25 minutes without even a hello, and having to look at dirty dishes in front of me, I got up and left and will never return! read more
