I would like to share my experience with this clock repair shop…read more The owner, Jan, agreed to repair my cuckoo wall clock. The problem was that the clock was losing about four hours. Two days later, I received a message saying the problem had been fixed and that I could pick up the clock. I was asked to pay in cash, which, unfortunately, turned out to be a mistake. Just three days after the repair, it became clear that nothing had changed. The clock was still losing time exactly as it had before. I called the shop several times and left messages explaining that the problem had not been resolved. The owner only answered after I called from a different phone number. After listening to me again, Jan said there was nothing more he could do. When I asked him to refund at least part of the money for a repair that had not solved the problem, he refused. Unfortunately, I was left with the impression that I paid for a repair that did not actually fix the issue. I want to warn potential customers: if you decide to use this shop, make sure to ask in advance what warranty is provided and what happens if the repair does not solve the problem. My personal experience was extremely disappointing.

I dropped it off on a Wednesday, they said it should be done the next day but give it to Friday. I said no problem.....2 days is better then what I was expecting. Friday comes around, no call. I call them Fri to see hear an update, they said let me check, the lady that fixes watches took it home to fix. Cool, no problem.....no call back. Call on Monday, they said oh let me check w her, no call back. I call again on Tues...they sounded like oh this guy again. I said please give me an update....one of the lady's said I'll call you back when I know in a tone like I'm bugging her....no call back again! I called the next day and a guy answered and I told him I just want my watch back, I'll get it fixed somewhere else. He said "fine, I'll call you" He calls the next day saying it's in. He says "we fixed the battery but don't know how to set the time/date" I said "I can do it" I get home and the buttons on the side to adjust time and date are BROKEN.
