Installed batteries to 6 of our watches on the spot - in and out the door. Highly recommend and cheaper than the mall or some candy shop.

Ask the Community - Larry's Watch & Clock Repair

I have a Tense Watch (canadian). Their link says I should attempt to replace the battery as the watch has to be resealed after it is opened. Do you work on Tense watches?

Absolutely! Wooden watches can be particularly sensitive to moisture and particles entering the case so it is important to reseal the gaskets every time they are opened. Bring the watch by and we’ll be able to replace the battery and reseal the…

Do you do in house repair on Grandfather clocks?

Yes! All repairs are done in-house by Larry. If you're interested in Grandfather clock service,…

My Movado wrist watch needs a battery replaced. Do you offer this service?

Absolutely! Stop by anytime during my operating hours and I should be able to take care of this within 20 minutes. Battery replacements for Swiss watches can vary, but most models will run about $25. All batteries come with a 1 year warranty.…

Is this business inside another store, or in a mall? Looking it up on a map is confusing.

Originally, I purchased our engagement ring and wedding bands through Littman Jewelers which is "now" owned by Fred Meyer Jewelers. We're career military and at the time stationed in Jacksonville, Florida. At the time there were two locations in Jacksonville and multiple locations through the region. We were later assigned to Washington, DC and had no problem getting the ring inspected and cleaned to maintain warranty. We were then assigned to San Diego, but the closest location was in Los Angeles, (Fred Meyer) which required recurring trips north to maintain warranty. Fast forward, retired from military and relocated back to Jacksonville to discover all Littman Jewelers had been closed permanently. However, learned Fred Meyer Jewelers would provide warranty checks and routine maintenance and would honor upgrades as long as it was conducted in one of their brick-and-mortar facilities. Thus comes the scam. There's only one location on the east coast and I'm pretty sure it's in the extreme northeast. The other locations are on the west coast in the pacific northwest. So, for anyone that was unfortunate enough to be a customer of Littman Jewelers, which is now Fred Meyer Jewelers was thoroughly screwed. So, unless you plan on permanent residency in the pacific northwest, don't patronize this facility; this especially applies to military personnel that routinely change assignments. I contacted them several times only to be politely told that it wasn't their problem. However, they did state they'd honor the terms of purchase "if" I came to one of their stores. Florida to Portland, Oregon to buy a ring? I don't think so. I'm looking at $5.5K in an upgrade that I'll never be able to redeem. DO NOT BUY FROM FRED MEYER JEWELERS.

They have tungsten rings. I thought tungsten just hung out in light bulbs in a noble gas kind of way. But it comes in solids and makes a shiny man ring. A size 12 is $299, which is cake compared to the hugely expensive diamondy goodness that I get. So I'll be back. The sales lady was very helpful and wrote down all the info for me. I dont usually wear rings due to the fact that I have skinny baby fingers and most stock rings dont fit me. My jewelers sized my finger and made sure the ring would fit correctly. They resized it within 24 hours. My ring has a simple plain band so it may take longer with other rings depending on the complexity. They did a good job resizing the ring. They have a pretty good selection of jewelry. Everyone was very helpful and they did have a good sense of humor.

Extremely frustrating experience. I would not trust My Jeweler with my jewelry again…read more I brought in several pieces for relatively straightforward repairs--a bracelet spring, a broken prong on a ring, and a separate older ring that needed a new head soldered on so a new stone could be set. I was originally told a couple of weeks. Two months later, the work still wasn't completed. Even worse, he made a major mistake with the ring that only needed a broken prong repaired. He CUT OFF THE PRONGS because he claimed he "thought" that was the ring I wanted the new stone set in. I never told him that. In fact, when I originally showed him the ring, we specifically discussed the broken prong, and he even checked the existing diamond and showed me that it was not loose. There was absolutely no reason for me to ask him to remove the setting or replace that diamond. Rather than simply acknowledging that he had misunderstood or made a mistake, he repeatedly tried to tell me that this was what I had asked him to do. It was not. Another bizarre excuse involved his carbon-copy paperwork. He repeatedly claimed that I had taken his carbon copy. I NEVER took his carbon copy--not when I dropped off my jewelry and not when I finally picked everything up to take elsewhere. In fact, every time we discussed the paperwork, he had a carbon copy there to show me. Yet somehow this became another thing he tried to blame on me. That was really the theme of my entire experience: excuses and shifting responsibility. I was repeatedly told, "a few more days," followed by explanations about being too busy and having too many interruptions. I went into the shop approximately eight times trying to get my jewelry completed or simply get it back. The shop was almost always empty, and on several occasions when another customer was there, they were also complaining. The one repair that was supposedly completed--the bracelet--broke again immediately and had to be brought back. What was especially frustrating was the enormous amount of time wasted. He would stand and talk at length while repeatedly explaining that he didn't have time to complete the work because he was constantly being interrupted. At one point I spent over an hour there. After two months of delays, broken promises, a failed repair, a ring altered in a way I never authorized, and repeatedly being blamed for things I did not do, I finally gave up and took my jewelry back. Bad business practices from beginning to end. If you value your jewelry and your time, I strongly recommend going somewhere else.
