As a regular customer of Aladdin's, I love this restaurant! As a typical high school student I usually lean towards Chipotle; a popular chain pretty much found everywhere. But then I found this wonderful place that I would choose over my beloveded Chipotle any day. The service is fantastic. When you first walk in you are greeted by a usually very friendly waitress or waiter. They don't hesitate to ask you about your meal and if it's good or not and are easy to strike up a conversation with. Now on to the delicious food. The menu consist of rather cheap options considering the menu offers vegetarian, and vegan dishes. Usually I would turn my head at this, not being a lover of mediterranean food but I have to say this restaurant has changed me, the food truly is mouthwatering. My personal favorite dish is the chicken hummus plate, and as a lover of hummus, this is by far the best hummus I have ever eaten. The other options are just as good too. You can end your meal with a delicious slice of cake, vegetarian option of course. The only complaint I would have, which is very minor, is there is never salt or sweetener on the tables, I would always have to ask. Other than that it is definitely worth trying. Who knows? I was at the Hudson , Ohio Aladdin's Restaurant on Monday April 30th around 6:30 PM for the 1st time ever in an Aladdin's Restaurant . I was greeted by a Beautiful Blonde Haired Young Lady that when she looked at me she was glowing with enthusiasm and such a joyous smile like I have never seen before . Just by her comments alone when she looked at me and said Hello , How Are You , How Have You Been ? It was like she knew me from previous visits . I have never been this satisfied with a Restaurant ever , or the time spent in one . I had one of the most pleasing meals that was delivered with not only an appealing feature and expedience , but the taste and flavors were worldly . The greeters , employees , chefs , and staff all went out of their way in every aspect of my visit to make my dining experience one I will never forget . I would highly recommend this Restaurant and everyone involved at this facility to anyone and everyone that visits Hudson , Ohio eateries . I will be back . The bean soup was piping hot with crunches of charbroiled chicken. Hummus was served with pita, which was fresh and is a must have !! For the main course, I ordered a Chicken Sambusek Plate from their specialities and my husband gotta Hummos Falafel Rolled. The Chicken Sambusek Plate was spicy chicken wrap, absolutely loved it !! The food was very delicious, fresh and flavorful. Not to forget, do have the awesome and most tempting cakes they have on display. My wife got the Eggs Benedict. The sauce...I want to say was broken but I don't think it was made from scratch. If I had to guess I would say it was a combination of premade with butter added to make it "homemade". The poached eggs were over cooked (please see the picture). You want those eggs to be runny (personally I don't like that but said wife does) and these had a jammy center like you would get on Ramen. The portions are big. Too big. Three eggs on Benedict, seven slices of bacon and a large fruit cup. I like to get a value but it has to be hard to make a profit with the price to portion ratio. I am struggling with two or three stars. Two is "do not go there", three is "the place isn't for me but you might like it". I think the owner/chef really cares and is trying. They said "we went back to our old menu to appease our regulars". But the "regulars" weren't paying the bills. So why on earth would you go back to appease those who couldn't keep the lights on and abandon what could have become a new sensation?! Honestly it's one of the most idiotic excuses I've heard in years. We tried to go here again and the menu was horrible. The food, also horrible dry. Bland. And nothing that we were hoping for. When we asked if we could try something from the Ramsay menu , we were told they didn't offer those items anymore. This has to change. The owner needs to see this. And instead of making excuses he needs to bring back not only the quality of the Ramsay menu, but also the full Ramsay menu itself, or else this is just going to be another empty unit in just a year or two -- probably less. Sure the decor is calming. But they don't even turn the lights on to the side booths until someone wants to sit in them. That alone tells me that they are struggling to pay the bills. The literal definition of crazy is trying the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. And that's EXACTLY what the owners here are doing. I can't say I'll ever return. This weekend may have been my last visit yet. And it's truly truly truly sad that an owner who was struggling and begging for help, turned his back on that help, despite being rescued and despite customer reviews. I was hoping for better.
