They haven't brought him a walker. My son is only forty six years old. He took a few steps already, but that's already been a month since. He can sit up well and is ready to walk for a month and a half now, but nothing's happening. They just have him in bed all day. They won't even let him get up to go take a shower with a walker, which is right next door the bathroom has the whole setup for him to take a shower. Now they want him to stay in until the fifth of January. They were supposed to let him out on the twenty third of december. So he could be with his family. Really ridiculous. And every month he was supposed to get out on the twentieth, but they keep stalling, they say it's the insurance. The devil's a liar! And his mother and this place

I came to Mountain View Congregate Living over a week ago, after spending 3 weeks in the hospital…read more because I needed skilled nursing for a while after having COVID-19. I was expecting a hospital environment, but to my pleasant surprise, it was just a big house the place is incredibly beautiful and clean. in the back yard, It was big and overlooking a golf course. there are 6 single bedrooms with their own private entrances. The staff was very professional and friendly, and willing to help you with all your needs the food was exceptionally good mostly fresh. I would recommend this place to anybody who needs skilled nursing for their recovery.

Manuel (Manny) Salguero From the moment I met him, Manny demonstrated extraordinary compassion, professionalism, and dedication. He went way above and beyond in making me feel comfortable and cared for during what could have been a very difficult time for me and my family. What stood out the most was his warmth and attentiveness. He took the time to get to know me, treating me not just as a patient but as a person and a friend. His kindness and humor brightened my days, and he ensured that I always felt at ease. Not once did he make me feel rushed or overlooked, even when the Health Care Facility was clearly busy. Moreover, Manny was incredibly understanding and accommodating with my family. He never hesitated to answer all our questions, kept us informed every step of the way, and always welcomed my family during visits without making them feel like they were intruding. His patience and care made all the difference to me during this challenging time. I truly believe that Manny embodies the highest standards of nursing and patient care. He is a credit to Oak park Healthcare and I hope this letter reaches those who can recognize Manny for his outstanding contributions. Please extend my heartfelt thanks to him on behalf of my entire family. I am I forever grateful for the care he provided and the peace of mind he gave to us all. Sincerely, Patrick J. Romero

I urge you to carefully consider this before contracting with any hospice provider. Unfortunately, our experience with Faith & Hope made an already painful situation even harder. In April 2025, my mom suffered a massive stroke. She was placed under Continuous Care (CC), which meant she required critical, around-the-clock nursing support. We were told her case would be re-evaluated after three days. However, the care was stopped in less than 24 hours and we were given only 4 hours' notice that services would be discontinued. At that point, it was clear our needs no longer aligned with Faith & Hope's philosophy of care. We scrambled to hire private help on extremely short notice. That night, my mom was in significant pain & experienced agitation. She needed her medication adjusted and an increase of the dosage frequency to help manage her symptoms. The next day, we made final attempts to Faith & Hope to reassess mom's eligibility for CC, even though the on-call night nurse, when we asked, did acknowledge that we were free to seek another hospice provider. We waited all day for a response from Faith & Hope, but heard nothing. Faced with another evening without adequate care, we transferred my mom to a different hospice. They gave us the right care without hesitation. Sadly, our mom passed away only 4 days later. The only positive experience we had with Faith & Hope was with Nurse Theresa. She cared for my mom with compassion, dedication and a true commitment to patient advocacy. Theresa's thoughtfulness and support helped guide my brothers and me through an incredibly challenging time, and for that we are deeply grateful.
