The kitchen staff does a excellent job creating tasty and nutritious meals. The administration staff walks the fine line of corporate needs and patient needs. it is necessary to advocate for yourself at times, but that is actually a healthy part of your rehabilitation process in my eyes. I was a patient here for over a month, during that time I met some amazing people on their staff! One thing to consider when you're coming from a hospital environment or a critical care unit, this isn't that. You won't get a 2 second response on the call light, and your needs may be met in order received. be patient be understanding, be courteous to the staff and it will return to you tenfold. be sure to ask questions, advocate for yourself.

Every staff member we've encountered has been helpful, patient, and genuinely caring. They don't just treat my mom like a patient--they treat her like a person. Over time, so many of the staff have become familiar faces and almost like friends to our family. What has touched us the most is seeing staff members come in, sometimes simply to talk with my mom, check on her, or spend a little time with her. Those moments may seem small, but they mean so much to our family. It shows that they genuinely care about her as a person and not just as another patient on their assignment. Everyone has been so willing to answer our questions, listen to our concerns, and make sure my mom is comfortable and receiving the care she needs. Whether it's the nurses, CNAs, therapists, or other staff, we have consistently felt supported and cared for. We are incredibly grateful for the compassion, patience, and kindness they have shown my mom and our entire family. I urge you to carefully consider this before contracting with any hospice provider. Unfortunately, our experience with Faith & Hope made an already painful situation even harder. In April 2025, my mom suffered a massive stroke. She was placed under Continuous Care (CC), which meant she required critical, around-the-clock nursing support. We were told her case would be re-evaluated after three days. However, the care was stopped in less than 24 hours and we were given only 4 hours' notice that services would be discontinued. At that point, it was clear our needs no longer aligned with Faith & Hope's philosophy of care. We scrambled to hire private help on extremely short notice. That night, my mom was in significant pain & experienced agitation. She needed her medication adjusted and an increase of the dosage frequency to help manage her symptoms. The next day, we made final attempts to Faith & Hope to reassess mom's eligibility for CC, even though the on-call night nurse, when we asked, did acknowledge that we were free to seek another hospice provider. We waited all day for a response from Faith & Hope, but heard nothing. Faced with another evening without adequate care, we transferred my mom to a different hospice. They gave us the right care without hesitation. Sadly, our mom passed away only 4 days later. The only positive experience we had with Faith & Hope was with Nurse Theresa. She cared for my mom with compassion, dedication and a true commitment to patient advocacy. Theresa's thoughtfulness and support helped guide my brothers and me through an incredibly challenging time, and for that we are deeply grateful.
