They need to Have more staff, specially nurse to check on Patients. My father's glucose level was 5 when they checked on him 5am, and they transferred him to ER. So the whole evening/night nobody checked on him. When we opened a case with health department somehow they were missing papers from my dad's file, and the nurse had quit her job! This review is more for a staff member that needs to be recognized! Vs the facility as a whole. I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to Christian, a CNA at this care facility, for the exceptional care he provided to my grandmother tonight. He went above and beyond to ensure her comfort, attending to her with such genuine compassion and kindness. It was clear that he truly cared, not just as part of his job but from the bottom of his heart. Even tho the matter involved her feeling comfortable, usually not "important" for most staff, he really did his best to be 100% sure she feels well. He said "he treats his patients as his own"! In a world where such selfless care is rare, Christian reminded me of the goodness that still exists in people. His efforts not only made my grandmother comfortable but also touched my heart deeply. This review is not about everyone at the facility. However, we want to thank and recognize Vanessa who stands out as a CNA. She is very attentive and goes above and beyond to make sure our grandma is comfortable. She is confident and knows what she is doing. She is so alert and doesn't miss things. We feel comfort when we know its her shift. Also, even though she doesn't speak the language, her care and kindness allows her to understand my grandmas body language and make her happy! I want to start by saying only one nurse was nice and that was on the first day. My Grandfather was sent here my recommendation from his Doctor but I can't say how much I regret him coming here. I don't recommend this place my grandfather passed away and they inform me 45 minutes later after his passing. When I arrived the gentleman that was there inform me that he was doing his rounds and saw that my grandfather was having a hard time breathing he decide that after he was done doing his round he was going to do a breathing treatment by that time it was late. This is been said to me in person when I got there to see my grandfather. He then step away to give me and my family member time to be with my grandfather in his room when we heard a loud pond noise, I came out of the room to see what was going on and it was a patient that had fallen and wasn't able to get up. I didn't think is was ok for me to get him seen I don't know his health condition, and the patient was calling for help nobody was around I had to go get someone to help the patient I can not imagine how my grandfather was neglect and do to that he passed away. My mom had surgery back in December. It was our first time looking for a facility for her. She needed medical help and therapy. It turned out to be a great experience. My mom likes it and I can see how she has been recuperating her health and how happy she feels in the facility Personnel are friendly, always ready to help Physical therapy personnel too, very friendly. My grandfather stayed here for a couple of days after having a stroke. They took good care of my grandfather. The staff is also super friendly and helpful, as well as professional, to both my grandfather as well as the family. Attention Mike L: FYI, the nurse LVN who was involved with the unexpected DEATH of my mother at your Broadway Manor facility just had his LVN license REVOKED due to extreme violation of LVN duties. Recently I spend two weeks at Broadway Manor for rehab. I received amazingly good care from every one. The nurses are wonderful and attentive and physical therapy is excellent. Even the food was unexpectedly good. The place is sparkling clean, no bad odors anywhere. We celebrated the Thanksgiving holiday with a dinner on their beautiful patio with live music for entertainment. I am so very greatful for the loving care the nursing staff gave me and highly recommend the facility. read more

Broadway Manor is a top notch facility. I should know because I really shopped around for care for my father. What sets Broadway apart is the care and compassion of the staff. Dad always received the best care and the staff was always present and responsive when we had questions. My mother really likes Broadway Manor and she's a tough NY lady to please. The admins, the nurses, the social worker and PTs really care for her. Look, this is the last stop for many. My grandma is one of the closest people to me, so when we were told that we couldn't keep her at home any longer it was very hard to accept. She has now been at Broadway Manor for over a month now and I visit her weekly and every time I am pleased with everyone there. The nurses are so kind and sweet. The facility is always very clean as well. They make an effort to get my grandma out of bed every day and keep her around other people. So far I am very pleased with the care she is being given. read more

This place is disgusting! My mother was there for only a day. We have to sign AMA. Not only the facility smells, medication was not provided. She had x2 surgery at Adventist and there for a rehab. She was place in a shared room with 2 roommates coughing on and off. Medication was not given for 24 hrs and the excuse was.."we had an emergency"... pls if you want the truth check it out urself. The people that gave it 5 stars most likely either work or own this crappy hell place. God will bring justice and this place is a torture chamber. Rate is negative -100% pure HELL!!! read more

My mother was admitted to broadway manor 2 months ago for rehab therapy.. Rehab was amazing at this facility , staff are very nice and helpful.My mother loved her nurses, also loved to play bingo at the activities.. Now my mom is home able to walk after her hip surgery..I highly recommend this place because its clean , with great rehab, and good nursing care.. Broadway Manor Convalescent Hospital at Broadway Glendale is the best place to bring your Grandparents. My Grandmother is a resident here for almost a year now and when we do visit we always see her with a huge smile on her face. Mike is the staff who helps my Grandmother a lot and he is always nice to her. Not only Mike but all the staff are friendly and really care about the residents and they truly enjoy their work. The best nursing home in Glendale. I've had some experiences with other facilities in Glendale but not took care of my grandma like Broadway Manor. The nurses were very experienced and the director of Nursing I think her name was Khatuna was very respectful our families wishes. The kitchen staff always prepared grandmas meals the way she requested. If our family ever needs to come back we will without a doubt choose the place. read more
