It has been a few years since I have seen a movie here. I forgot how nice it was. Not only is it clean and well organized, it also has the large power reclining seats. It really is nice to watch a movie in a fully reclined position. I was so comfortable that I found myself fighting falling asleep. My wife and watched "Five Nights at Freddy's Part 2" and we really enjoyed it. Our popcorn was fresh and buttered just right. They even have beer and wine for sale. We super enjoyed watching at movie at 9:20 am as it left the remainder of our day wide open. There is plenty of parking and the theater is in a really nice and safe area of town. I think I'm going to start seeing more movies at this theater. read more

What a ridiculous policy. I go to see a movie. The popcorn is $11. I buy it, and when I taste it, the popcorn is obviously 2-3 days old. Dry, awful. This is the cheddar popcorn. Obviously, not fresh and apparently rarely purchased. I went back to exchange it for the freshly popped popcorn, and they couldn't exchange it, they had to issue a refund for the cheddar to give me the freshly popped. They are so slow. I'm trying to go to my movie, which starts in two minutes. No exchange. No nothing. This is not customer service. A poorly run theatre, Go to Alamo. read more

Dear, AMC Bowles Crossing 12, I haven't visited this theater in about five years, but I have some great memories from my time there. One memorable experience was when a friend from high school and I got lost on our way to the movie we wanted to see. We ended up catching the last five minutes of it, and after that, we finally found the right screening. It was a bit disappointing to know how the movie ended beforehand, but we made the best of it. Another fun memory was when we went to see Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. I recall stopping at the nearby 7-Eleven gas station, where I attempted to buy $22 worth of Reese's candy, but my card was declined. Thankfully, my brother was there to cover the rest for me. Those experiences definitely made my visits to that theater memorable! read more

It was hotter inside than outside! This location is not as nice as other AMC locations and could use a makeover. Seats are old and it feels stuffy, especially when they're not turning on the air conditioning in the summer when it's over 90 outside. read more

We had to head to this location because our local AMC didn't have a decent time for us to see what we wanted. It's an older one, but nice enough on the inside. Love to reclining chairs and space for you to spread out. Staff was courteous and helpful. Overall we had a nice time and enjoyed a family moment. The 4 star rating is due to 2 things: the place is older and could use some refurbishment. The second thing is the exorbitant cost for any food you order! $11 for popcorn!...popcorn?!? $7.50 for a drink?!? Crazy! I know they've got to pay the bills, but it makes it impossible to go to the movies very often. So go, take the family and enjoy if you can afford it. read more

Seeing movies is one of my absolute favorite things. I am an A-list member, spend a lot of time and money here. I don't understand the lack of care for basic things that could make this experience so much better. Sticky floors? Hey, maybe mop it up. Trash overflowing? Sure, let's take it out. Our front step is absolutely riddled with trash? Let's pick it up. It's really that simple. I get being short staffed. I'm not asking for the world. AMC theater The system failed. We went to go see Richard Jewell today. This particular theater has been my favorite ever since they put in the recliner chairs, they pretty much turn into a bed. They had part goes down in the foot part comes up, they are leather and I love that. We bought our tickets ahead of time, they also had an option that we could purchase popcorn and Coke and it would be delivered to our seat. I received a text telling me the time it would be delivered. We waited but it never showed up. I had to leave my seat to go to the lobby to find out where my order was. Although there were three people working behind the counter they were way too busy having a conversation and not for filling their job. My order was just sitting there. I counted 12 people working the shift at that time we went to the show. If you are going to offer something then there is no excuse for this offer not to be for fulfill. I am NOT sure if I would order ahead of time again. read more

Teens with their backs turned on their phone at the front desk- They canceled our showing without any email, text, warning etc. the employees did not care and gave no explanation. They seemed genuinely irritated that we were there. Thanks for the voucher to come back because they "couldn't" refund to my card, can't wait to throw that in the garbage. read more

Just returned from a showing of Beetlejuice at Bowles Crossing. The house lights were never turned down following the previews, resulting in a string of bright lights shining down the middle of the theater for the entire show. Multiple people informed the staff and the lights were never dimmed. When I spoke to the manager he stated that the lights must stay on for safety (the lights dimmed two weeks ago when I saw Twisters). My son in seat F7 had the lights shining directly in his eyes and he left the movie as it was unwatchable. It was bright enough to read a paper book, which would be easier to see than the screen. I recommend finding a different location for the theater experience. read more

Went to see The Boogeyman on Saturday June 17, 2023 at 7:45pm. The movie was not formatted to fill the screen correctly, the sound was bad, the theatre was dirty and the aisle lights on either side of the theatre remained on the entire time. The manager I spoke with during the movie (in efforts to rectify the lighting at the very least) informed me "that is as low as they go for safety reasons." ABSOLUTELY FALSE. I have been to hundreds of movies at all the AMCs in the area for years as an AMC Stubs member. THAT HAS NEVER BEEN TRUE. So much for trying to watch a horror movie without the lights off. Never going back to AMC Bowles Crossing. If you can avoid it, I suggest finding any other location to see your movie in. read more

As a frequent movie goer (and lover), AMC Bowles is one of the top three AMCs I find myself going to in the Metro Denver area. It's quiet and clean, which is odd to think about because most AMCs I've visited in Colorado are just that with the exception of the one in Parker. Also, I've never had a problem with finding parking spots even on holidays such as Thanksgiving and Christmas. Their ticket prices are more reasonable and/or cheap especially in the mornings, where tickets are as low as $5 per person. All in all, no complaints but no special frills (except most peoples' favorite: recliner seats) either. read more

Went here to watch Fantastic Beasts in 3D and what fun it was! The theater is small and you get to pick your own seats, which made it nice since we're a rowdy lot and like to sit in the back. The reclining seats are super nice, except for the fact that if you recline all the way back the little glass pane that separates the back row gets in the way, so what you see is part theater screen and part of the screen through the glass. The sound in the 3D theater is awesome. It was loud enough I could hear clearly but not so loud it hurt my ears and I could feel my seat rumbling. This was an all-around good time, place to see a movie in 3D. read more

AMC Bowles is my go to when connecting with my neighborhood women. It's not as close as some other options, but the full bar and comfy reclining leather seats make up for the extra drive. Each time we've come, we've had a great time. The theatre is decently clean and because you pre-select your seats when purchasing your tickets, we don't feel rushed and arrive with just enough time to grab a drink Yes, they are overpriced but then so is everything else at any theatre, in my opinion. If I'm thinking far enough ahead, I may grab a soft drink and complement with my flask, lol - much cheaper if you're watching your pennies. That aside, we haven't ever experienced technical difficulties and have always had a smooth, enjoyable movie experience. Folks that also frequent this location seem to be mature, respectful and cognizant of others in the theatre - always a nice addition. read more

Comfy recliners but they're hot and sticky during the summer. Alamo Drafthouse is more expensive but much preferable to an aging AMC.

Went to see Barbie movie and they literally had no Barbie props, none of the popcorn bundles, they didn't even have a poster of Barbie. Anyway besides that the air conditioning was off and we were SWEATING in the theater, the whole place seems not cared for and it was a realization of why we don't go to the movies anymore. read more

People were fanning themselves and we were sticking to the seats. Will not ever return there, and so disappointed because it has always been our go-to theater. This theater has been remodeled and it needed it! Thanks to the remodel, there is a full service bar located in the main lobby. The concession are seems a bit small to accommodate the amount of movie goers but the line seems to move quickly. Seats are reserved so buy your seats online about 3 hours or more before the show to ensure you are seated together and in the seats you wish for. The chairs recline and the arm rest can raise to be more of a live seat if desired. The theater lost one star from me due to the overall uncleanliness. I have yet to be in this theater when the floors have not been covered in popcorn and trash. The bathrooms are always in disarray. (Check for toilet paper before you commit to the stall you have chosen). read more

Come on AMC. Get your act together and clean up a little. My husband and I saw Star Wars in 3D with friends last night and were unimpressed. The lady at the front handing out 3D glasses should be relocated elsewhere. She nagged us and was shouting instructions to us as we walked in and were chit chatting about dinner. The carpet throughout the lobby, hallways and theatre needs to be replaced and are filthy and have a unique scent to them. The bathrooms. My god the bathrooms. Walking into the women's bathroom immediately placed me in Times Square, NY. I was overwhelmed with the smell of urine and couldn't pee fast enough to get out of there. The stall I chose was the cleanest and was littered with toilet paper and had half a roll remaining. My friend chose a stall that didn't have TP, switched and ended up with a stall where the TP was on the ground. The theatre was busy. The reclining seats were comfortable but very noisy when adjusting the chair and there was a lot of wear, tear and cracks in the leather chairs. Comfort gives this theatre a star but filth takes away 4. Skip this theatre and go elsewhere if you can. read more

I came here for the first time yesterday, we were eager to see a movie after the Covid shutdowns. Honestly the people at the front were extremely nice and helpful. The popcorn was good. The theaters are smaller which is great to avoid overcrowding. I love the recliner seats, I look forward to coming back. Also I had to change my movie time and they had no problem refunding the ticket and letting me purchase a new one. read more

Pros: We bought tickets on Flixster and got to pick out our seats....makes things a lot less stressful especially on a busy day. Our reclining seats were super comfortable. Popcorn was delicious. Cons: I didn't purchase a soda because the line to fill the cup was pretty long. Pull out tables would be super useful. I've seen them in other theaters. My biggest con and the reason for writing this review is regarding the plexiglass partition between rows. The seats aren't high enough to clear it when slightly reclined. Our view was "obstructed" the entire time by the smudged plexiglass and the line that it creates through your line of sight. I won't visit again because of it and I'm sure it's probably there for some weird insurance purpose and can't be removed. read more

I bought tickets for the new 'Nope' movie to go see with my sister and was told I needed my id which is understandable but I didn't have it on my but my twin sister had hers . We were told I wasn't allowed in only her because I didn't have my id on me but she's my identical twin so we look the exact same. We keep going because my wife has an old injury that makes it difficult to sit in a regular theater seat. So, 1 star for cushy recliner chairs at decent prices, even for evening shows. And I'll give another star for self-serve butter because I'm fat like that. Here's what's horrible: *Teenagers working concessions just do not give a shit and it's obvious they'd rather be anywhere else. Either hire the right personalities or train them! *Maybe because the staff is primarily teenagers, the self-serve soda and butter areas are a filthy wreck. Not stocked, not organized and everything is sticky. Ew! *WHY, WHY do the bathrooms reek of piss? Like deep down, soaked into the grout or something. I've guzzled a bucket of soda and held my pee until I've gotten home just to avoid this stank. While we typically go to a different theater, we occasionally end up here based on movie availability and times. It's bearable if you come in with low expectations, a gallon-sized bladder and the ability to put up with service from monosyllabic teenagers who will do absolutely nothing to make your experience enjoyable. read more

Great as always! Reclining seats (reserved ahead of time), fresh popcorn, cold soda, and a good movie make for a perfect family date night. Not sure about the negative reviews...this is one of the best theatres in the area and we've never had a single issue. It can get crowded but so can a lot of places. The bathrooms are clean, the parking lot is well lit, and they allow you to bring your blanket to snuggle with. Snacks are pricey but there's a good selection, including gourmet popcorn and soda machines that have about 30 different flavors as well as Icees. And come on, everyone knows theater snacks cost a fortune...but expensive food tastes better, right? read more

Disappointing experience at this theater today. The employee at the box office was unkempt, unshaven, and extremely rude to us once he found out my S.O. was using Movie Pass. I have pretty decent anxiety, which was not going well in the chaos of a Saturday movie crowd to begin with, and the way he spoke to us made me feel even more uncomfortable. I was so flustered I just ended the interaction as quickly as possible instead of asking to speak to his supervisor, which I now regret. I know it was busy in there, but I work with the public, too, and I would never be that rude to a customer, even a difficult one. And we were perfectly polite the entire time, so he truly had no excuse. Concessions employees were nice, but the popcorn was definitely only sub-par given the price. The bathrooms were very dirty, and I guess reclining seats in the theater are a perk - I really could care less, frankly - but it takes the shine off the experience when I have to brush the last patron's heaps of popcorn crumbs off mine before sitting down.
