Went to this office as I was finding a new ENT since my doctor retired, and booked with Dr Thomas and they're the only office that could get me in to be seen for my ears in a good timeframe. I love this office, it's super chill in the waiting room, cute building, the staff were friendly and knew their profession well, and Dr Thomas rocked and got my ear issues resolved and removed the excess drainage (I had an infection). This was my first time to see Dr. Rosenbloom. It was a little difficult getting in touch with them to set an appointment, but I just figured they must be an extremely busy office. I had an ongoing ear infection that was not healing, and I was told the pain was probably from me "chewing too much gum." I may have a piece of gum once every eight months. The doctor never thought to check to see what kind of bacteria was in my ear and said there was nothing more he could do. I ended up having a staph infection!!!! A very difficult to treat but not impossible MRSA infection. What made it worse was a small hole that was in my eardrum that never healed from a tube The doctor had previously placed. This doctor never thought to do a swab in my ear to check what kind of bacteria was making my ear pour like a water faucet for months!!!!!!. Absolutely ridiculous, snide comments, and needs to retire. He simply does not care. read more

The staff is terrible. They are arrogant for no good cause. Spent 3 weeks over referrals. My PCP referral coordinator assured me she faxed it over. I'd call Alamo ENT and they'd say it didn't come through. 3 weeks of me being in the middle. The Alamo ENT staff never called my PCP Office to ask about it. Finally, Alamo ENT told me they don't accept electronic faxes, only manual. If they'd taken literally 5 minutes, they could have called my PCP to say that. They were lazy and made a patient do that. Finally, Alamo ENT staff told me that Dr. Rosenbloom didn't accept my insurance!!!! WHAT??!! perhaps that arrogant staff should make that the 1st question when a patient calls to make an appointment. BUT, the real kicker? They finally did call my PCP referral coordinator. They told her I was not welcome to be a patient. Couldn't call to resolve the referral issue, but could call to say I'm not welcome to their practice. NOTE: I was a patient of Dr. Rosenbloom prior. Thyroid cancer. SHAME, shame and shame. And now? I will definitely adhere to your [Dr. Rosenbloom] parting words yesterday, 7/23/25, "...don't stay so long next time." That won't be a problem; your non-patient-centric mood was received loud and clear, and I will NEVER return to your clinic again! While waiting for you, I noticed the diploma hanging on the patient room when you finished your medical residency/fellowship 25 years ago from NYC hospital. I couldn't help but think, what happened to you? If you had treated patients like this during residency/fellowship, you wouldn't have graduated. I don't know what made you lose touch with empathic patient care, but you should go back to NYC and start over. Patients and your own staff in San Antonio deserve to be treated with dignity and respect. I hope this resonates with you, instead of shirking it off. Patients do not benefit in the long run from your lack of purpose. I'm willing to discuss further. To everyone else: I'm writing this to stand up for not just myself, but for anyone else who may be oppressed, just as Isaiah 1:17 reminds us to do. I recommend everyone avoid going to this clinical practice. Dr. Rosenbloom has lost touch with why he entered the medical practice 25+ years ago, with speculation, it was to help patients in the first place. I'm retired from a hospital administration career in the Air Force Medical Service and the Defense Health Agency for 40+ years, I'm very adept at noticing problems with medical staff. I have witnessed all kinds of problems, but Dr. Rosenbloom's demeanor left me speechless upon exiting my appointment yesterday. I didn't even know how to respond or what to think at first. I was appalled and shocked at the same time. Thinking about this overnight, I'm really ashamed for him, as well as the clinic, because of his disposition. Not knowing what his medical tenure has been like, all I can recommend is for Dr. Rosenbloom to reconnect with the basics again. I went to the Alamo ENT clinic at the request of my PCP, just to find out the results of a Sinus CT exam taken a couple weeks prior. However, this wasn't my first patient-provider interaction with Dr. Rosenbloom. I was referred to him for chronic sinus infections, and I've been there about 4 times previous to yesterday. Dr. Rosenbloom had a sharp edge to him most times, almost like my appointment wasn't necessary and I was bothering him, so I was reluctant to go back this time. For this appointment, I went out of my way to be cordial, stood up upon his entry into the patient room, extended my hand to shake (because he sure didn't) and then interrupted him asking me why I was there, by attempting to make small-talk for a minute. He then wanted to know why I was there. Was this information provided, or just his insatiable demeanor. [Quick background: About six weeks prior, I had been struggling with chronic sinusitis issues but this became apparent after a few days there was a something wrong. The long story shortened, I was running 100 degree low-grade fever, bad forehead headaches, nasal drainage, cough, congestion, red-glassy eyes, etc., which lasted for 4+ weeks. Five days after onset, I received a course of antibiotics and when there was no improvement, so the following week was given a course of steroids and with still no improvement, the following week ordered a different course of antibiotics. The following week, one month from onset, I finally started to feel better but still wasn't 100%, so I received the sinus CT exam. Upon receipt of the results, my PCP messaged me to make an appointment with an ENT specialist because the CT exam indicated minor abnormalities. I had no idea what that meant. I opted to return to Dr. Rosenbloom since I'd seen him in the past, despite his horrible bedside manner. I thought it would be the fastest way to find out if there was a significant issue, especially since my PCP requested the visit.] I explained the reason for my visit, again. Dr. Rosenbloom agreed everything was minor, but still asked why I was there. I attempted to give him the brief background and he didn't care to hear any of it, interrupted me, and said, "tell me how you feel now." I said I felt somewhat better, although that probably meant nothing to him because he didn't let me finish the background. He said my headaches [which was the only thing that resonated] was likely caused by grinding my teeth, as he had previously documented I had TMJ jaw problems. Of course, at that point I knew it wasn't worth the fight, and didn't say anything. Upon leaving, his departure statement was just as written above. It was awkward, walking out and seeing the look of the technician, standing just outside the door. I feel sorry for him, and strongly recommend anyone needing ENT care to go elsewhere. If I could leave zero stars I would. Accepted appointment with our member as cash pay. The member drove from San Antonio and was refused service. Business office manager refused our payment and sent the patient away. Had waited weeks for the appointment only to be treated with callous disregard. I can only hope that these staff are never treated the same when they are in need of service. Would never use again nor am I amble to recommend. read more

I cannot express how bad of an experience I had with this group. After a car accident I had a small hole in my right ear drum, which I was able to verify by using a wireless ear scope I purchased. I sent the pictures to an ent friend of mine who confirmed it was a small hole that had a big change of healing on it is own. He also told me I could get a paper patch put on it to help protect it from moisture or anything else that could get in it. Upon arrival I explained to Dr Gordon what my situation is and why I came in (I had also noted why I came in on my appointment request). I showed him the picture and video I took of my ear and the hole in the ear drum. I was then ushered into a waiting room where I waited for 45 minutes until another Dr was available, at which point I was brought into a sound room used for performing hearing tests. I was a bit confused why I needed this as I had already explained why I was there. Needless to say I went through the tests. When they were complete I asked the dr when I would be getting my patch put in to which she replied I wouldn't and that the other doctor would review the test results with me and make a decision after that. I became a bit irritated for at this point I had been in the office for and hour and 45 min. I pointed out that the entire reason I came in was to have the patch put on and asked why I couldn't just have it out in upon request. She then Explained that if I'd like to request it I could certainly have it put on. Flabbergasted I said yes I would like it put on and that at this point I am running quite late to things I had scheduled. She brought me to another room and summoned dr Gordon once again. He rushed in the room and quickly began the procedure of placing the patch on the hole in my ear. He seemed very inconvenienced, as if I was getting in the way of his leaving early. He had to perform a few steps ahead of placing the patch, each one causing excruciating pain. At some point he told me he had to remove some wax, which made no sense since, during my self evaluation using the scope, there was no wax in my ear (see pictures). Finally the process was complete. My ear is in pain but he says the patch is on and I can leave now. I leave the room and go to the checkout at which point a hole new level and frustration meets me. The check out lady says that after insurance I owe $240. I ask what I am being billed for and she says I was billed for 2 tests (to which I never even received my results do), first time patient fee, wax removal, placing the patch on my hole and some other procedure the cashier didn't understand. I was furious but went ahead and paid. Once I got to the car I immediately checked my ear using the scope I have. The patch is in place but now I have a significant amount of additional blood in my ear. Of course I realize it's possible that the procedure has potential risks and irritants but from the way I was treated and the pain I endured, not To mention the over billing, I'm not sure any more. I feel cheated and violated. It's hard enough trusting anyone in the medical industry as it is and now this. It's a shame a grown man has the audacity to take advantage of me like that. My wife visited Alamo ENT because of a hearing problem. Her hearing in her right ear is almost zero. She had an inner ear infection and an operation by an quack in New Braunfels pierced her ear drum. In this case her left ear was, as she said, kind of stopped up. After taking an hearing test the doctor told her she needed a hearing aid and there was a woman right there to sell her one. She declined and we went to Beltone where I got my hearing aids. She got her new hearing aids. About a week later she said her ear "popped" and her hearing in her left ear was back to normal. Hearing aids are not needed. What a waste of money for unneeded hearing aids and what a bad diagnosis. She just had some infection? Congestion? Something she went to see the ENT to diagnose and cure. Every single person I saw asked me how I was, help direct me to the right room, literally just the nicest people I've ever encountered. Friendly, helpful, smiling. My wife and I both have used the services of Alamo ENT and Associates. Dr. Biedeger is OUTSTANDING in his professional abilities and OUTSTANDING in the way he interacts with his patients. He is not the usual "cattle call physician" we have seen elsewhere and takes his time to ensure you are taken care of and all questions answered. The office staff is courteous and efficient, I'm always able to schedule an appointment without a long wait, and the nursing staff are professional and polite. Dr. Rosenbloom is by far the best physician I have ever seen. And after 12 years of sinus problems, I've seen a LOT of doctors. Dr. Rosenbloom is kind, caring, conservative in treatment and has the skill to put even the most nervous patient at ease. He performed a FESS with sinuplasty on me, and the recovery was way easier than I ever expected because he does not use packing plus his obvious surgical skill. I have never had a worse experience with medical staff like I did at Alamo ENT in Shertz. Extremely unorganized and unprofessional nursing/receptionist staff. Their unprofessional conversations were heard throughout the waiting room. Not only were they gossiping about co workers but they were talking about getting drunk. The worst part was, I was told to arrive 10 minutes earlier than my appointment time for check in, which I did over the phone and was told I'd get a confirmation call back. 30 minutes go by and no call back, so I called again and told them I'm was outside. Again they said they'd get back to me. I saw patients walking in, so shortly after I walk in to see what was going on. The receptionist was very disrespectful towards me and with attitude told me that because I was 30 minutes late the doctor could no longer see me, I explained to her I checked in over the phone and had been waiting in my car all this time, to which she replied with, "well why didn't you you walk in when you saw the other patients inside", BEING IN A PANDEMIC..she discredited me and called whoever to verify my story then ended up apologizing. They did absolutely NOTHING to accommodate me and told me to come back at ONE PM when my appointment was at 8:30am. When I explained I was coming in from out of town, taking time off from work, they still had no remorse even though this was a clear error on their part. read more

Absolutely horrible. Billing. Office staff. Everyone. The only light in the office is Dr Rosenbloom himself. The man is a saint. And his nurse Connie. She's an angel. Unfortunately his entire office is made up of bafoons. Lisa in billing is literally insane. Lisa in the office told my husband a surgery was scheduled got to the hospital- it wasn't it was cancelled. They all point fingers at each other. No one takes responsibility. They rescheduled surgery took TWO full days off work. They called to again cancel the surgery this time ahead of time. When pressed as to where the disconnect was Lisa hung up. Called back. Picked up and hung up. COMPLETELY unprofessional would not recommend at all. read more

Went in for some blocking in my ears .Theytook a hearing test even though I told him I already had one a week ago and they had told me it was normal he said well since you don't have the results will do another um ok why would I lie about that . Then they did cat scan . Everything came back normal so the Ent said I don't see nothing wrong so I can't do anything for you . Disclosing a last-minute office practice to new patients after they are in your consultation room is theft. Alamo ENT Associates, Dr. Guillaume, and staff stole $178 from me. This medical group charged me that amount to tell me that they no longer provide allergy testing but that they could refer me to someone who does. He was fantastic, helped my wife with a procedure to straighten out the fracture. His bedside manor was truly exceptional, treated her like a queen. I have called and was told I'll be called back to discuss payment and insurance options several times and each time it's like they've never heard about it. Never call back either. I made an appointment weeks ago for Dr. Biedinger, and as a first time patient, I came 20 minutes early so I could fill out paperwork. I needn't have done so, because the front was so "busy" they could not hand me the intake form that I had to wait 10 minutes for. I filled it out as quickly as I could, and finished about 5 minutes after my appointment time. Almost every single person in the waiting room went into a room before me, even though they came in after me. I was told they were waiting for a room for me, but 2 more people went in before I went to the front desk again. This time I was told it was because I had to go into a one of Dr. Biedinger's rooms. They wanted to know if I wanted to reschedule, but I said I already had 1 hour and 15 minutes invested in waiting. After an hour and a half, I asked for my paperwork back so I could shred it at home. I'm appalled at the poor customer service and I feel they were just waiting for me to give up so they could go home on time (It was 4:20). Don't go to this place if you expect good customer service. read more

SEDONA, SEDONA, SEDONA. This employee who answers the phones will be the demise of this office. She does not have one ounce of customer service. I was trying to make an appointment and asking if this was the correct office to go to for my issue or if it was too minor of an issue to assist me. She cut me off "we are ENT, next available is next week." When I province the word otolaryngology properly, she hung up on me. When I called back she pick up, put me on hold the. Disconnected. The 2nd call back she picked up and disconnected, the 3rd call back she must have hit a button that disconnected me right away. The 4th call back she picked up and slammed the phone down. The 5th call a lovely Lauren picked up the phone and proved that there are usually are only 1or 2 bad apples in a bunch. I called back to see if I could recognize the voice and decipher between the 3 front desk ladies who it was that treated badly and with in 30 seconds of Sedona being Kurt and rude again, I knew it was her. I was referred to Dr. Rosenbloom and after my initial appt, I will not be going back. I was setup for a Rinuplasty & diagnosed with Silent Reflux & immediately given Prilosec. Rec'd a call asking to up the procedure appt & I asked to speak with Dr. Rosenbloom about the quick diagnosis of Silent Reflux. I was transferred to nurse Connie who stated the endoscopic evaluation indicated the Silent Reflux; I told her I didn't undergo such an exam which anyone would certainly remember if a plastic tube is placed up your nose & down your throat !!!! Connie argued for about 5 minutes with me stating she was in the room when test conducted !!! Reported the incident to Administrator Mike who stated he would discuss with the doctor. Mike called back & wanted me to go back in to further discuss with the doctor & I said no because if that's how the office is run by falsifying exams (which better not be billed to my insurance), I don't want to deal with an office with horrible ethics.
