Enterprise RDM tried to give me a safety compromised car and took advantage of me…read more I had a reservation #1346317206 for a car at RDM airport starting 2/17/23 for 4 days for a total of $181.42, or $45.36 per day. I made standby on a flight, so at the last minute I modified this reservation to add one day upfront for 5 days starting 2/16/23, and boarded the plane. I was quite surprised on arrival that night to see a bill for $337.29, or $67.46 per day. The counter could give me no explanation as to why my rate jumped 50%. It was now late and there was no other options. Then I had to wait 45 minutes for the car to be washed. Driving away from the airport, the car's TPMS light came on. Returning to the airport, the manager tried to sell that the pressure was fine. TPMS systems fail when cold. This is not true. I was not about to accept a car with compromised tires, at night, during a snowstorm, where many roads in Oregon have no cell service. The only option I was offered was to upgrade to an SUV. The final charge was $448.40 or $89.68 per day, or double the original rate. I have yet to receive an email receipt itemizing these charges. My expectations are: 1) when I extended the reservation by one day, my daily rate would not increase. 2) Enterprise would not try to sell me that a safety compromised car was ok to drive. 3) With the reserved car malfunctioning and having to return to the airport, Enterprise would have offered an alternative car at no extra charge. This has been my experience at other rental firms. 4) Enterprise would have had the car ready on my arrival. Enterprise did not live up to it's commitment to have a car that was deserved, and took advantage of the situation. My view is the charges should be consistent with the original reservation. Original daily rate of $45.36 applied to 5days, or $226,80. I was billed $448.40. I am due a refund of $221.60 Contacting Care@Enterprise.com is a dead letter office, two emails, no response. Calling their customer line resulted in a 3hr hold and then cutoff. Chat never responded over 12hr period. Consider a different firm.

Watch out!!! Avis Car Rental at Redmond Municipal Airport cannot be trusted. They promised to keep…read moremy luggage until I return. However, they lied about my luggage sent to Portland airport. After I found out the truth, they admitted the lie. I have been thinking about the situation for a few more times. Why they promised to keep the luggage, but lied to me send my suitcase to Portland airport? Why don't they admit to throw my luggage the first place? Therefore, I highly suspicious they might stole my Luggage because the combination code is pretty easy. They're thieves! Their employee and manager probably figured it out and sold my medical equipment, my clothes and my suitcase. They're not only liars, but also they might be thieves as well. Wish the company would test their employees's credibility and choose them wisely. Be careful when you do business with them.

The cars are always clean on the inside and out. I've rented a Dodge Ram Rebel & Challenger, Ford Mustang & Edge, Chevy Camaro, Toyota 4Runner, & Rave4, a Jeep and more. All are in top condition. I can't express enough how much I appreciate these guys and my time up in Oregon. Treat them with the respect they deserve, you're in great hands. I recently missed my flight to RDM and had to go to the EUG airport instead then drive over to RDM so I called to update them on my situation and right then and there with no questions asked they booked me a car at the EUG airport at the most cost effective rate. Truely honored to have their whole team looking out for me.

Fraud padding of invoices with insurance that I declined, the letter they sent to my credit card had a completely different vehicle that I rented, they forged my signature on the declined charges. It's very much of a racket that they also tried to do this to me in May of 2023 with inflated rates but I caught it that day before I took the car. Really also disappointed in Hertz gold service (since 1995) and Presidents Circle for not protecting the top customers. This franchisee OverlandWest who David Miller works for is in on this scheme. Will never rent from Hertz again and have taken my business to Avis. Interesting how the guy at Avis knew why he was getting a lot of Hertz customers switching. I've still got a case open with my credit card company and have been doing research on the Bend Redmond news channel and the District Attorney. We arrived at the Redmond, OR airport on Thursday for a wedding weekend, only to discover we had accidentally booked our rental car at a Budget location in North Bend -- four hours away. Panic set in fast. We got in line at the Budget counter, explained our situation, and that's when the magic happened. Manager Ethan, with calm and genuine kindness, said "No worries, we have one more walk-up." He let us know it had a half tank of gas and was ready to go right then and there. We didn't hesitate for a second -- we said yes. Wesley jumped in immediately, got our information entered with impressive speed, and within minutes we were holding the keys to the last car on the lot. What could have been a travel disaster turned into one of the smoothest moments of the entire trip. We had to get to Bend for wedding activities, and thanks to Ethan and Wesley, we made it -- stress-free and smiling. That one act of kindness and professionalism set the tone for an absolutely magical four-day trip. We are so grateful we stopped at this location before giving up hope.
