The crown went in perfectly, and then I told him that I had a slight problem on the left side down by my wisdom tooth and it chipped off. Instead of costing me a lot of money he said let's see if we can fill this. And he was able to fill that chipped portion with a substance that is so strong looks exactly like my tooth. Amazing what they have today. When everything was all done he asked me how my bite was and I said it is perfect. I get that ins doesn't always cover the full expected amount but the way I was treated and acted like I was lying because their computer said I was is just a joke!!!! I will never go there again. My dentist office called and…read moreasked if they accepted my insurance, I asked the day of when I offered my insurance card if they accepted my insurance and both times they told us yes. It wasn't until after my appointment that I found out that they "will bill my insurance" but they aren't a provider on my insurance. So I was still billed more than double what it would have been if I'd gone to a provider who was preferred on my insurance. When I called them on it they specifically said: " we didn't lie to you, most of our patients like us so much they are willing to pay the extra." I then called back to see if they would be willing to take any off, because of the dishonesty, they let me know that they weren't dishonest, since I asked if "they accepted" my insurance they were honest and hadn't lied. I explained that a lie of omission is still a lie, even if they don't think so. I reached out to Christensen Endodontics, they were up-front, honest and clear about their billing and insurance coverage. I would recommend everyone go to them instead.

We went in after filling out the forms in our vehicle, had our temperatures checked and we were all normal. We were about to go back and be seen one at a time. However, when the receptionist came back after talking to the dentist I was told that since I can't wear a face mask due to a severe medical condition I had to wait with my other two children in the lobby. Are you kidding me? My young children were to be seen, alone in a room with a man they've never met, where I can't protect them? I don't think so! I understand there are regulations due to covid but to be discriminated against because I cannot wear a mask and put my children at risk is beyond acceptable. We were the only ones in the office because of the policy that states only one patient can be seen in the office at a time. They even had the audacity to ask me when I scheduled the appointment to leave my other children in the car, even knowing how young they are! That's against the law in Utah last time I checked! They recommended that I find a pedodontist who could maybe work with me but I'm guessing I'll again be discriminated against and not be allowed in with my very young children.
