A new nurse came in and started asking about the insurance, which startled me, because it should've already been in the system. I told her it's fine, I will go back downstairs, while im downstairs registering, in comes the surgical team upset that im down stair registering. How Ironic?! After making it back upstairs with my wristband, there's another set of 3 nurses just waiting in the room. As im on a call, 1 nurses starts talking to me while im on the call, and I advised her of hw mannerless that was. I told her I couldn't talk to 2 nurses and finish up my call all at the same time. Dr. rizzo enters the room and DEMANDS me to sit down, like im not a patient, but the SLAVE ,that he made as a recent purchase. I advised him id rather stand and then he states he feels uncomfortable about doing the surgery if a physical person can't be there, which I totally understand. I told him thats fine, and then gathered my belongings and left. With that piece of information already in place, I didnt find it feasible enough to stay in a room with 10 people, once the Dr. is basically saying he has to cancel because the policy isn't being followed. I didnt have any issues with that. Th nurse, however, said he didnt know about the medical transport, and that she would tell him. All the while I had already made up my mind to not be seen there. Due to the lack of professionalism on his end and his staff. I felt as though they really wanted to blame me so bad for this and just couldn't admit they lacked communication. Yea! Literally was the worst day of my life. Im glad I dodged a bullet, He then proceeds to find me in the hallway and expressed his emotions towards me and that he wasn't comfortable. Meanwhile, im the patient, and no one is consoling me or asking me about how I felt. The narrative listed below is only 1 side of the story, not 2 sides. This will be the third surgery on my spine and the original doctor wanted to bring me in and do the same thing for a third time. Problem is the L4 L5 keep slipping. And the L4 is clearly very inflamed. Dr Kopacz went over the MRI with me and explained what's happening with my spine. He explained what needs to be done to prevent this from happening again. He was very personable and had a very sweet disposition. He never rushed, he took his time and explained everything to me. Including all the things that can go wrong. This will be a four hour surgery including having to put a cage in my spine BUT to do this he will need a vascular surgeon because they will be going in through the front then turn me over and put the screws in the back. I was most impressed with the amount of time he spent with me. One of the reasons I initially called his office was because of his education and his reviews. People really love him. I was definitely impressed with his knowledge and he explained everything in layman terms not physician terms. He makes sure you understand. I would definitely recommend Dr Kopacz.

Dr Garcia had the best reviews & back in 2008 my mom broke both ankles and Dr Garcia treated her so I decided to call his office. Lea made an appointment for me and she was so kind, got me in ASAP after explain the pain is traveling down my leg. They text me instructions the morning of my appointment on what to do when I arrived. I got there a few minutes early- texted: ARRIVED and they text me back within minutes telling me to come in. The office was spotless, I checked in and within five minutes I was brought into an exam room. After the very sweet nurse took my info- Leo came in and took me for X-rays. He was such a pleasant guy and we had a nice chat. I must say the staff is amazing and everyone was so kind. After the X-rays, Dr Garcia and his physician assistant came in, we talked, he examined my knees and he decided to start out with cortisone in each knee-- that wasn't fun BUT when I went to bed last night it was the first time in over a year my knees weren't bothering me then when I woke up, after sleeping straight through the night-I couldn't believe it, I kept touching the bone that sent shockwaves through my body the day before and the pain was gone.
