Any dental implant dentist can do that procedure, the just don't call it 3 on 6. They will be nice to you and tell you they want you to be happy. That is just a bunch of nonsense. There are dozens of people that are dissatisfied with them. Some have gone to other dentists to have their problems corrected. Smile Clinic Arizona told me they would correct my problems, but it would cost me over $16,000 on top of what I already payed them. What reputable company would charge someone to correct a problem they created? Save your money and go to another dentist. If you're anything like me then you have a genuine fear of shots, getting my teeth drilled on and being told I need to floss-more. When I initially met Dr. Steinberg I was a bit skeptical that he would be like every other dentist, who seems to care more about the paycheck then the actual patient's health or well-being. Fortunately this was not at all the case. Josh exhibited a thorough understanding of dentistry and what needed to be done. I asked to many questions to which he had well thought out, precise and logic answers. I informed him that I was incredibly sensitive to drilling and requested that he take special considerations while working on my teeth... I'm so happy with my experience because he did exactly that. Dr. Steinberg let me know what he was going to do before doing it and regularly checked on me to ensure that I was OK. I went with a different place at first because it was closer to where we were living. Well, that turned out to be a mistake. I ended up having a bad experience there and finally switched to S&L. Dr. Ngo and his team fixed everything the other dentist had messed up. Right away I knew my wife had been right all along. I've been going to S&L for four years now and they really are the best dental office I've ever been to. Dr. Ngo has removed all my old metal fillings and replaced them with modern ones, plus he's done a couple of crowns for me. Everything looks and feels great. My wife has also been extremely happy with all the work he's done for her too. I'm almost 55 and I've seen a bunch of top-rated, highly recommended dentists over the years, both here in the US and a couple in Mexico. Nothing else comes close. One thing I have to mention is how good Dr. Ngo is with people who hate dental visits or get nervous about pain. His work is excellent, but it's the way he takes care of you that makes the biggest difference. For example, the way he does Novocaine shots is unbelievable. You barely feel it at all. He is knowledgeable and professional and always takes time to check in, even during routine cleanings. I usually don't wait more than 5 minutes for my appointments. There have been times where I needed immediate dental care and they are able to work with you to fit you in as quickly as possible. I have recommended him to many people throughout the last 8 years! At a previous dental office in Miami I had a terrible experience that started with a routine cleaning that turned into a root canal 6 hours later and left me with significant anxiety with all things dental related. I found out a few years later after moving to Arizona that the root canal was not performed correctly and I had to get it re-done. Dr. Ngo is incredible at calming nerves and making you feel safe when in uncomfortable situations, especially with anxiety. He talks through every step in advance and during the procedures, so that there are no surprises. He takes extra time when numbing the mouth so that the pain is tolerable and at times barely noticeable. I really appreciate this and feel like it's rare to find. I highly recommend Dr. Ngo and S&L Dental for all your dental needs.

After going through all the intake paperwork and providing my insurance information, the dentist then told me he was only a general dentist and could not help with the treatment I needed. That would have been frustrating enough, but they still charged both me and my insurance a total of $250 ($50 copay and $200 insurance payment) for a visit that provided no actual care or solution. When I raised the issue, their response was that they "used to have a periodontist, but he left years ago," and that they cannot control what appears on healthcare websites. While that may be true, they can absolutely control being honest when a patient clearly states the type of specialist they need. Instead, they allowed the appointment to proceed, then charged for a service they knew they could not provide. Very disappointing experience.
