Everything was amazing from this place and yea sometimes they do make mistakes but also to own a restaurant and make sure everything is perfect is absolutely hard and I have a lot of experience of it when I worked at In N Out. Most of the PE that leave bad reviews are white so probably not the place for you but still I'd say they try rlly hard for being a Mexican restaurant and the workers being all Mexican. I rlly love this place an especially there carne asada fries that are loaded with cheese and meat all the way to the top most of the time the box it comes with wouldn't even close. How AMAZING is that, and also the delicious breakfast burritos, they are so amazing that I have probably come back like 1000 times for them already. Everything is always cook to perfection and there pollo asado burritos are soooooo good it's probably my second most favorite in there entire menu but there special 5 roll taquitos beef or chicken are to die for. They are loaded with cheese and lettuce also sour cream and guacamole plus the free drink on the side is to die for. You can never forget to add some salsa to there food because it makes it that much better. I would recommend this place to everyone you know bc I would eat here every single day if I could!! Any restaurant name ending with "bertos" is always a little iffy to me because, more often than not, the food just isn't that great. But I decided to give this spot a try anyway and I'm actually really glad I did. I ordered the carne asada burrito, and it completely exceeded my expectations. The meat was flavorful with a really good texture none of that chewy, fatty stuff you sometimes get. Everything tasted fresh, and the burrito came out nice and warm, which made it even better. On top of that, the service was fast and friendly, which is always a big plus when you're just trying to grab a quick bite. Unable to try the food. Went to the location at 11:03PM on a Saturday because it's closest to us and also because it's open until midnight. Upon arrival we were not greeted in the drive through, mind you all lights were still on and the window in the front was open in the front (why wouldn't it be? It's before midnight). We say excuse me and without explanation the lady says they're closed. We had two cars behind us and all 3 of us exited the area without ordering. Unfortunate because the sign on the front was lit up and said "open" and the sign above the pickup area said they don't close until midnight. Service was just ok and the food was good, but they have upped their prices & charge .50 cents to use cards. They gave me a receipt saying I paid in cash, but I paid with a card. The receipt said 16.16 was the total. So 16.16 plus .50 cents is 16.66. So I was curious and checked my bank account They charged 17 bucks. My coworkers and I went to this place on our lunch break and I got 5 rolled tacos with a Diet Coke (which was in a can) the meat tasted insanely like a refrigerator. Giving this place 2 stars because the interior was clean, otherwise 1 star for the food quality. Wife ordered the 5 rolled taco special, I ordered the 2 chicken enchiladas. The rolled tacos were hard and dry. The enchiladas were mediocre at best. The refried beans were watery. The Mexican rice was just okay. The hot sauces provided were crap. The soft drink had barely any ice in it. You'll have to pay $1.25 for a refill. Ended up throwing away about half the meal. Should've gone to Del Taco and spent have as much, better tasting food, all the free refills, better hot sauces. Won't be back. read more

I bought two breakfast burritos from Alanbertos on E. Street, San Bernardino. The first was sausage. Potato, and cheese. It was overloaded with cheese and the sausage tasted strange. The second burrito was supposed to be chorizo, egg, cheese and potatoes. It did not have cheese or egg. The tortilla was burnt in several places. The chorizo was old. I didn't discover the horrible food until we got home. I lived to far to go back and return them, plus I dropped my GS at home and I planned to eat mine on my way yo work. This was a waste of $20.18. Their food is really good. However watch what they charge you. I was over charged, and when I went back to have it corrected, he told me it would be the same price.
