This the filthy carpet around the edge of the wall. So NASTY!!!

I took my husband this morning for Father's Day and to have brunch. We were seated right away and made our plates but then decided to look at the rug and completely got grossed out. I noticed the carpet is so dark a filthy vs. the edges by the walls. Sick!!! My husband wanted over easy eggs and they charged me an extra $7.50 for the eggs. The lady at the omelette station said she doesn't make them. They expect you to eat the Powdered eggs in the dishes or have her make an omelette that tastes like cooking spray because she continues to spray the pan while the egg is already in it. WTF!! Total disappointment!!!

The Mexico Cafe feels like one of those places that's been quietly doing things right for a very long time. The atmosphere has that almost historic, been here forever charm that instantly makes you feel comfortable the moment you sit down. The food is delicious, classic, and satisfying in a way that reminds you why traditional Mexican dishes never go out of style. Service is quick and friendly without feeling rushed, which makes the whole experience even better. It's the kind of spot where everything just works, from the flavors to the pace of the meal. This is an easy recommendation when you want great food in a place that feels authentic and timeless.

Veggie Festivale Plate - crunchy, piping hot veggies

$17 veggie plate - crunchy, flavorful. I love that they have full vegetarian section. I didn't ask on if beans and rice were actually vegetarian... I assume yes since actual vegetarian menu (but I don't know). Also beans and rice side came out with cheese - so if you are vegan need to ask for no cheese. My only negative was just how loud the place was - it was hard to hear anyone at my table - but I guess that's consequence of popular place with quick seating/ turn around. If they gave customers more space, guessing there would be long wait to get in.

The shrimp inside the shrimp burrito. Soooo gross and pathetic. Looked like maggots and tasted like old stinky seafood.

This place used to be good. We went this past Tuesday with my in laws. They were visiting from out of town and wanted to go here. We hadn't been in awhile. Place was packed. The local police seemed to be having their annual Christmas party and there were many other people. I went to the bar while waiting to be seated. Guy walked away and said he'll be right back... 5 mins later I get their Costco tasting margarita. We get seated. Waited another5 mins for our server to come and ask what we want to drink. Finally paced our orders. I got the shrimp burrito, hubby got a the California burrito, mil got the taco salad and fil got chile verde plate. I took two bites out of my burrito and almost puked. It was so gross. I ended up eating my rice and beans, but I did throw up in the parking lot and I did throw up the rest of my food when I got home. My husband cannot finish his Carne Asada of California burrito. He said the meat tasted funny and he was up all night with a stomach ache. My mil picked at her salad. Mostly ate the shell and said lettuce was wet and soggy ruining everything. A night of wasted money, stomach aches and vomiting is what we got from here. Unfortunately this place is nothing like it once was. Their use of cheap ingredients and lack of staff shows. Their margarita is only thing worth going for but even then it tastes EXACTLY like the Kirkland pre mixed margarita. I'd rather buy a bottle or two and have that with friends at home. That way we know that we're eating good clean food and won't be getting sick later.

We have been here a few times over the years because my aunt and uncle, who live nearby, have always been big fans. It's HUGE so if you go at "between times" you normally don't have to wait. The food is okay and the portions are very generous. The service was ok, as was the ambiance. I had a tostada which was very filling. My uncle had a great looking mango margarita and showed us a pic of his friend who had ordered a GIANT $100 margarita there some other time, and it blew my mind!

After hearing countless recommendations, I finally gave this spot a shot. Overall? It's... okay. * Chips & Salsa: Complimentary, but underwhelming. The chips were passable, but the salsa was watery and lacked flavor -- more of a red puddle than a punch. * Margarita: Disappointing. It tasted diluted, and the pomegranate syrup just sat at the bottom like an afterthought. Even after stirring, it didn't come together. * Fish Tacos Plate: I went with the fish tacos. The rice was forgettable, the beans surprisingly decent, and the tacos themselves? Average. The fish came as a single slab, which made them awkward to handle -- especially buried under a heap of cabbage and pico de gallo. * Service & Atmosphere: This is where they shine. The staff was attentive, and the environment felt welcoming. Big props for their visible support of law enforcement -- that earns respect.

Jose was our sever.... He was very polite and attentive... I met an old friend for lunch.... we had not seen each other in a while... lots to catch up... but he was patient... let us talk and then took our order... food was good.... Parking is no issue.

OK guys first time coming here customer service is really bad. It just looked like she was attending to the other customers more than us. I love the atmosphere but I'm sorry the food was not good at all. I ended up getting Machaca with eggs. I asked for over medium she gave me sunny side up and to be honest I'm Machaca hat, tomato, onion, and cilantro, which tasted like they just we warmed it and gave it to me and it was not Fresh. It was actually kind of spoiled already. She did take it back and offered me something else but I'm sorry that took my appetite away the chili let you know that we order was tasteless. My wife got the fajitas chicken and steak and the chicken was big old chunks of meat. That was really really dry. Only thing that was really good. Was the salsa and chips that we got in the beginning. This will be my first and last time coming here.

Always a great time at Mexico Cafe. Food was excellent and the drinks are always on point.

It's always a real treat coming here. I love the ambiance and decor. My wife loves their margaritas. They have a full bar. The food is super classic simple but really tasty. It's definitely in the safe zone. Prices I felt are a little less expensive than the norm. I can definitely recommend!

It was a World Cup game day, and she seemed to be responsible for an entire side of the restaurant by herself. The service delays felt more like a management and staffing issue than a reflection of her effort. We were seated at 6:04 PM, and our drink order wasn't taken until 6:32 PM. While I understand restaurants get busy, it seemed like management should have anticipated the increased demand and staffed accordingly. Unfortunately, there were several issues throughout our meal. The chips brought to the table tasted a bit rancid, and the napkins wrapped around our silverware appeared to have some kind of dried residue on them that looked like tamarind paste. I ordered the birria plate, and roughly 40% of the meat was fat, making much of the portion inedible. I also waited over 15 minutes for limes and never received the cilantro I requested. My husband ordered the carnitas plate and was surprised by the appearance of the meat--it was very pale and almost looked like chicken. He said it lacked flavor and was disappointing overall. My parents ordered the molcajete, which arrived without the shrimp that was supposed to be included. At that point, we knew it would likely take another 10-20 minutes to flag someone down, so they decided to just enjoy what was served. They actually said the flavor was quite good despite the missing ingredient. Overall, the experience was highly disappointing, especially considering the long waits and food quality issues. I don't blame our waitress, who was clearly stretched far too thin. My frustration is directed more toward management for not properly preparing and staffing the restaurant for such a busy event.

After a long week and zero desire to cook on a Friday night, I finally decided to give it a try. When I pulled up, the line was surprisingly short, which felt like a good sign. The order window is right out front, and the menu is simple and familiar: tacos, burritos, sopes, tortas, quesabirria. I ordered a little bit of almost everything: asada street tacos, a bean and cheese burrito, beans and rice, an asada mulita, an al pastor sope, and a quesabirria. Prices were reasonable, and I spent under $50 for the whole spread. Food came out in about 15 minutes and was packed neatly. The disappointment started once I got home. There was no salsa in the bags, which already put us at a disadvantage. Only then did I realize there's apparently a salsa bar inside along with a small seating area, something you don't see from the front order window. Had I known that, I would've grabbed what we needed before leaving. Then we opened the tacos and realized they came completely plain... no onion, no cilantro, nothing. Just tortillas and meat. Not exactly what I expected. Visually, everything else looked fine, so I was hoping the flavor would make up for it... but it didn't. Everything tasted bland, like the seasoning took the night off. The only thing I halfway enjoyed was the beans and rice, and my family felt the same way. Maybe my expectations were too high based on the crowds I always see, but everything tasted like tortillas, meat, and cheese... and not much else. I'll give them credit for fair pricing and quick service, but that's about it. I really wish the cashier had mentioned that the tacos come plain or pointed me toward the salsa setup. Overall, not the experience I expected, and not one I'd rush back for.

This was the first time I'd been disappointed with their food, but I decided to call and express my dissatisfaction. I was passed to the manager who handled the situation in the most unprofessional way. I explained the issue to him, and he insisted that my torta today had the same amount of meat, beans, and cheese as always. I disagreed with him, and he responded angrily, "Everybody makes mistakes!" He raised his voice and repeated it a couple of times. It was completely bizarre that he chose to speak to me as if I was the one who'd done something wrong.
