If enjoying cancelled flights are your passion, this is your airline!
    Bill D.

This airline used to be the ticket but not anymore! I have flown it three (3), times in the last year and have had three (3), cancelled flights on each of those three (3), trips. My wife and I both have Alaska Airlines Mileage Cards and with this latest cancelled flight see no good reason in having them. Three out of three is not good so goodbye Alaska!

Though counter-intuitive, Alaska via PDX is the best way from Eugene to Southern California.

I arrived at the Eugene Oregon airport 5 hours ahead of time. I checked in checked my bag and went…read moreto my gate. I got a notice that my flight was delayed. I received 3 delay notices. Then I noticed that one of my boarding passes stated we were boarding at 7:15pm and arriving at 4:55pm. The agent said these were not my flights and printed me two new boarding passes for the following day. I was confused and asked her why I was on flight for the next day. She said , I was rebooked and that I should have gotten a notice but I got the notice when she printed the new boarding passes. The new flights that they rebooked me on flew me from Eugene to San Diego, with an 8 hour lay over in San Diego. I asked if there was any flights in that eight hour period that they could put me on to get me home sooner and not have to sit somewhere where I know nobody and have never been, for eight hours. I was told there were no available flights in eight hours to get me home sooner. I was unable to retrieve my luggage because they told me it was already on the plane. The plane did not leave for another 3 hours, but I was told they could not get my luggage off the plane, Iwas assured however, that my luggage would be at my final destination when I got there. Southwest Airlines has my money, so there is no incentive for them to help me get home any faster or help me get my luggage. The fact that Southwest Airlines rebooked the same day as my flight, without calling me or notifying me in any way is unacceptable. The fact that I have to stay at an airport in a city that I have never been nor do I know anyone for 8 hours until they decide, I can go home. I will never fly Southwest again if I can help it. If you have to fly Southwest , keep yourself informed. They won't let you know of any changes. The Help Center call was no help either, and I waited close to 40 minutes for them to answer and tell me the were "Sincerely Sorry" for this inconvenience but they had done all they could. Shame on you Southwest Airlines!

Delta Air Lines, Inc. Customer Care, P.O. Box 20980…read moreDepartment 980 Atlanta, GA 30320-2980 To Whom it may concern, My wife and I flew from Eugene Oregon to Seattle Washington on May 17, 2026, on flight DL3785 at 12:05pm. As we boarded the aircraft, the counter directed us to have our carry-ons checked due to space requirements. The agent apparently misdirected our bag 3006805326 name on the ticket was Ricardo Buckles and it ended up going to SNA. Our file reference number was SEADL53662 Our name is Russell Bronson and Utta Bronson Our bag was clearly marked: Russell Bronson We arrived in Seattle and were notified that the bag had been incorrectly flown to SNA We filed our report SEADL53662 and proceeded to go to our ship for our trip to Alaska. They could not get the bag back to our ship in time for sailing, we ultimately received our bag in Sitka, AK four days later after having to pay a fee for the delivery. $46.00 In the meantime, we were without my diabetic medication and my wife's heart medication. We were both feeling not only stressed without having our medication and starting to feel ill. My wife's headaches were from the lack of medication and the high blood pressure that resulted from that. I had no change of shoes or clothes for four days and we missed out on excursions from the ship because of the inclement weather. The reason for this letter is that we were unable to file an "online baggage report" as it required "uploading documents" and we are not "tech savvy" to do this, and we talked to representatives also, but no one could help us without going to the "online" form. We were on the phone several different times repeating the same story, over and over. We were so frustrated with the individual representatives because they didn't understand why we couldn't start this process "online" and we again told them, we were not "tech savvy" to do this. It was like it fell on deaf ears. Our Alaskan cruise was greatly interrupted by the gross error of a ticket agent and our dream vacation which happened to be our Anniversary of 50 years. It's hard to put a dollar amount for the frustration and ruination of a cruise. It's hard to describe the hardship and having to cancel outside excursions we had planned to participate on our "Cruise" because of health concerns and lack of medication and clothing. I hope that Delta can understand what we had to do and you are able to compensate us for all we had to go through in a fair and just manner.

The Delta agent at the Cancun airport was nice and helpful. The SkyWest agent at the Eugene airport…read morewas nice and helpful. The flight coming home was 30 minutes early which was very helpful. It was basically pretty smooth of course there was some turbulence but no big deal. Our bags arrived on time so you know they got all the basics right and it was fine. Except... Delta customer service is absolutely horrible. If you call you'll wait on the phone for our minimum of 1 to 2 hours before getting to speak to someone. That is atrociously bad. They encourage you to use the messaging on the website however this is not much better. What times are a little bit shorter but still at least 30 minutes to an hour or more. Plus of course that is far less efficient to have to keep typing typing back-and-forth typing it's a really lousy way to give customer service. Additionally, there is a ongoing malfunction both on their website and their mobile app. If you try to upgrade your seats, once you have jumped through all the hoops and completed the form the last thing is putting in the CVV code for your credit card, but after you put that in and press submit, the CVV code disappears and you get an error the transaction does not process. So, you have to call and endure this two hour wait on the phone. However that guarantees you nothing. In our case, we purchased a one-way ticket from Cancun to the United States. When you do that using the website or mobile app it forces you to pay in Mexican currency does not give you any option to pay in US dollars. This seems crazy but it's how their system is set up. If it was limited to that then you know maybe no big deal. However, after enduring a two hour hold to speak to someone on the phone. Oh and by the way the other thing is Paying partly in mileage and partly in money. Apparently, if you are buying a ticket you can do this on the website or mobile app(assuming you can get it to take your credit card), however you cannot do this if you are upgrading your seats. And, on the mobile app/website you cannot upgrade one seat at a time use Miles for one and money for the other, because their system forces you to do both upgrades together as a group. So it's impossible. After waiting the two hours on hold and speaking to the agent her first answer was this is impossible can't do it. Then after more discussion she finally realized oh yes it is possible by doing one seat at a time doing them separately. Do one seat with mileage and do the other seat with money. OK fine, so after all this time she's moving forward and doing it. However when she gets to taking Payment. The credit card fails. Why? Because the original reservation was paid for in Mexican currency! But it was the Delta system that demanded that and now when you try to upgrade because you're doing it over the phone of their system at the phone center only can run the credit card in US dollars but it fails to go through because the original transaction was in pesos. This is just ridiculous. Nonetheless, five days later there are two $300 charges still on my credit card as pending which presumably will drop off eventually but it's been five days and they still haven't dropped off. What an effing mess. And then there's the food. This is an international flight. My experience with other airlines as they include an actual meal especially if you pay extra to be in the economy comfort seats. Which brings up another point, as if the ticket was already not rather expensive ($375 one way per ticket... Although this was cheaper than buying round-trip tickets it still a lot that $750 round-trip! From the Pacific Northwest to Cancun. But not completely outrageous I suppose just rather high. But then when you wanna upgrade your seat coming back just for one leg of the trip, I want $150 per ticket! And that gets you 34 inches of legroom instead of 31 inches. And really not much else. And my experience with other airlines particularly on an international flight when you pay extra to be in the Comfort class you actually get an actual meal included. Not true for Delta at least on this flight. You can buy a snack box for $15! And what odd is they never really even offered it. Period and the flight was definitely during dinner time. But the flight attendants were perfectly decent in fact the first class flight attendant was quite nice and since we were in the very first row of Comfort she allowed us to use the first class restroom. So there were a few bright spots but Delta Airline sure has horrible horrible customer service. You have to wait on hold for two hours to talk to somebody? That is so ridiculous. Atrocious. I have filled out their feedback forms on this about three different times and of course never heard anything back.
