This location lies to their customers. Avoid them or you too may be liable for damages caused after you return a vehicle. I used a truck from this location while my truck was being repaired in a body shop. When my truck was ready for pick up from the repair shop I called Enterprise on a Friday afternoon to see if I should return the rental to their lot or if I could leave it at the repair shop for them to pick up later. The Enterprise employee from this location told me on the phone I could leave the rental in the lot of the repair shop and they would come get it, AND they would state in their system I had "turned in the vehicle" and would no longer be responsible for it. So I left the rental in the repair lot, had the folks at the repair shop do a walk around of the rental to confirm there were no damages, got in to my own truck and drove away. I'll note there was an easy option to just drive the rental a couple miles down the road to return it to Enterprise directly if they had said that was protocol, or I could have done the swap on Monday to Enterprise. I was excited to get my truck back and get back to normal life so I opted to leave the rental and move along. The rental was retrieved 5 days later after an Enterprise employee drove past the repair shop and noticed the rental parked there. When they finally come to retrieve the truck there was damage to the back of the rental that was not there when I "turned it in". Enterprise does not keep a record of their phone conversations with customers so there was no proof of the conversation. This would have been a good one "for training purposes". I spoke with the manager about my frustration and he assured me this was not uncommon and he could clear things up. Enterprise held me liable for the damages. When I went to the lot to see the rental and the damages, the truck had already been sent with another customer so I was unable to see the damages myself. Apparently in the small print of the agreement, a renter is responsible for a vehicle until it is returned to an Enterprise lot. Ok, that makes sense, and I could have easily done that. BUT, when an employee says a rental can be left at a different lot, and a customer won't be responsible for the rental anymore, and Enterprise will come pick it up, don't believe the lie. You will be held responsible to the fine print of the agreement and be liable the damages. read more

We made a reservation to pick up a vehicle between 1- 1:30pm. Only to arrive and there were zero cars available. Was complete waste of time and money. Seemed to be the norm as stated to us by the receptionist. We wasted 2 Uber rides and our afternoon because Enterprise does not actually confirm the reservations and cars availability . Other folks arriving with the same bad news. Will never use Enterprise again. read more

The service was actually pretty good until they decided the fuel level was 1.8 gallons below the half full level when I received the truck. So I was charged an extra $9 on a $670 rental. Filling a tank to half way isn't easy in a vehicle you don't own and would I have got $9 dollars back if I'd have over-filled it? I think I know the answer. The guys truly brought the car to me. I received a rental while my car was in the shop being worked on. I had the car a total of 11 days. Enterprise met me at the body shop. We did a quick walk around of the car and I was off with the car. Part way through, the change oil light came on. I called to ask what I should do and they checked in their system. I was told that Enterprise has to manually change the sensor when they change the oil. The gentleman that answered when I called looked in their computer system and told me I was good to drive the car. He checked the mileage for when it should be changed again. I was offered to switch cars if I wasn't comfortable with the change oil light on. The car was very clean and had no other issues. I was able to drop the car off at the body shop. No issues at all with Enterprise. read more

Generally in the past had been pretty easy to work. Their selection is always hard to work with and when I needed a simple Jeep that was impossible so I am stuck paying the higher price per day till I can get what would fit. The price quoted was different than what it was because they leave out taxes and fees. Update - not only are they not able to switch me out for a comparable vehicle to drive, they are still willing to change nothing in the rate. Even though I've rented the same vehicle that I am in now, for a lower rate before and have rented from them for years. Over it and Franks attitude. read more

Absolutely horrible service. Scheduled a rental for drop off at M&G collisions a mile away from the store and they confirmed a 4pm drop off 5 times. Bait and switch. Hidden charges. Nothing on the web site about a deposit. When called and asked about the deposit, the idiot working the counter didn't want to tell what it was for. Finally he said in case the car was brought back without gas, was crashed or was returned dirty (in other words, no one will get their deposit back). When asked about insurance, they said there was the option for insurance that would help pay for the driver's responsibility in case of accident. So the insurance doesn't cover everything. I asked why this wasn't on the web site, he said it was. He was snide the entire time. When I asked to speak to his supervisor, he actually laughed at me. His name is Frank and he works in the Eugene branch. If I put the deposit on my credit card, my daughter, whose a stay at home mom and was trying to get her child up to OHSU, couldn't drive. Frank failed to tell me that for an extra $10, she could be added as a driver. But wait, the deposit, my credit card, and my employment history weren't enough; she would have to do the same thing. This company is a scam, and their staff is not trained in customer service. read more

While I like Enterprise for their service and selection of cars, I would NEVER recommend this location to anyone. Several of the staff were tossing a basketball around (behind the *only* guy that was working). They looked through the glass/plexiglass and saw me and my family standing and waiting and simply turned around and kept spinning and playing around with the basketball. After several minutes, the ONE guy working said, "Thanks for your patience, you guys are awesome" and he went back to his call. 10 minutes later another guy from the back came over and asked if anyone was helping us. Did he actually ask that question? We're the same people (the only ones) that walked in about 15 minutes before he asked (while the wanna-be globe trotter kept tossing the basketball in the back and occasionally looking our way then looking away. Yes, we finally got our car and considering my family and I were the only customer, a total of 35 minutes onsite is unacceptable. If Enterprise's employees want to play ball that badly and not help customers, then they should simply leave the lot, find a gym, and not give customers the "What, are you expecting some help?" look. Next time I'll pay the premium for the airport lot - or just go to another car rental company. Absolutely unacceptable. read more

Enterprise has only provided expert, professional, prompt service, and this was no exception. The vehicle was clean and ready to go on my arrival, and I even got a free upgrade! Turning in the vehicle was even easier. I dropped off on the weekend (this location is closed on weekends) and simply locked the car and dropped the keys in the drop box. Done! read more

The reason for my renting, my nephew married a young lady from Eugene. We got notified last week that her mother had stage 4 cancer. Rented a motor home and left, oh by the way she is two weeks out from delivery. We arrive In Eugene and need a large van or something to transfer people back and forth. I told this story and was given a 2015 suburban that could hold up to 8. I've rented from this branch at least three times now and have a reservation for this coming Monday. I rent cars somewhat frequently and I've used a number of companies in the past, with wildly varying degrees of satisfaction. I only went to this branch initially because they were nearest to my home and offer pick-up service, but I'm so glad I did. I hadn't seen pre-trip walk-arounds as thorough as theirs, or at all in a few cases. I hadn't had staff as flexible and adaptable to last minute changes in my reservation. (On one occasion the agent showed up to pick me up in a car I'd been considering buying and was able to change my reservation so that I could rent that one instead, so I could take it for what amounted to an extensive test drive.) They've always been professional, courteous, and kind enough to laugh along with even my dumbest jokes. I'll be moving to North Bend next month and I hope the staff at the local branch there give the same caliber of service as the people at this one. read more

I have never written a review before but my service was so terrible! My car was in the shop and a reservation had been made with enterprise several days in advance. When I arrived to pick up my rental car, the employee indicated that everything was set up and ready to go. However, I was offered an SUV rental and when I asked if it would be covered he stated he had no idea. He indicated that I should just pay the extra if it wasn't covered. As it turns out, very little effort was made to reach the insurance company to verify coverage. The employee called and left a message with the generic number rather than calling the specific adjuster assigned to my case. He stated he had been unable to reach anybody but didn't feel it was necessary to let me know before I arrived. Within minutes I was able call and to set up A direct billing for him. This was not my job and what should have been a simple transaction took almost an hour! I did not receive any apology or admission that an error was made. read more

So this is barely 2 stars. Price was good and agents were friendly, that's where the positive review ends. We rented a car because ours was in the body shop. We got a newish Nissan Altima that had scratches all over that I pointed out during the walkaround, the agent listed only one on the rental agreement. The "oil change/maintenance needed" light was on when I picked it up, not really a big deal except we planned to rent for more than a week. We also noticed a coolant smell and had to return it the next day for a toyota Camry. Exchange=hassle and wasted time. Here's what really pissed me off. I was told over the phone the deposit would be $250 and this is what I was initially charged. Upon picking up the vehicle, an additional $45 had been charged to my card WITHOUT AUTHORIZATION. Ultimately I was not overcharged, I do however find it very unprofessional TO LIE TO CUSTOMERS! Enterprise just moved to the bottom of my list of rental car companies. read more

After the most aggravating experience with the local Avis office (no cars? You do realize you're a rental agency, right?) we were pleased to be rescued by the Enterprise office. We needed a minivan for a week and they were able to accommodate us. There were a couple of minor irritations like it wasn't there yet and when it arrived it needed cleaning AND the promised DVD player was missing the screen, but we waited patiently and Manny came through for us. He is a real asset to the Enterprise team and has a very promising future. He understands the meaning of good customer service and provides it even when facing bumps here and there. I wish I could give zero stars because I have truly never had a worse customer service experience. First I waited on hold for forty minutes, waiting for them to answer the phone so they can come pick me up. They dropped my call three times. For forty minutes I sat outside a gas station listening to their hold message that promises to pick you up in a timely manner. When I arrived I was told I needed additional documents, which of course I could not obtain because clearly I was without transportation. The employee was incredibly rude to me. I was shocked that a place that prides itself on such "good" customer service would treat me so so poorly. Very upsetting. My family, friends and I will never seek business from Enterprise again. read more

I have nothing but KUDOS to this branch of Enterprise. I have always used them if the need arose for a rental... but this time, I was in a car accident and needed a rental while waiting for my car to come out of the body shop. I am a busy mom who works more than fulltime, and really didn't have a whole lot of time to be without a vehicle. Had the pleasure of dealing with Manny at this branch. He learned of my issue, and my needs, and after being in a car accident on Hwy 126, realized my fear of being down low in a car. The logistics of getting to the rental shop was a nightmare, but Manny made it all happen. He actually delivered the car to my office... a big, bright red pick up truck. Boy, that was awesome. He checked on me through out the process, and it was just a pleasure to deal with them while going through an ordeal of the cluster that a car accident can create. Thank you Manny!!!!! :) read more
