With this type of work, unfortunately more often than not you can only count on a companies word that they did the work satisfactorily (not all of us are able to climb a roof to check). Last summer we had Stump Grinders remove about 50 trees up on Chena Ridge.  We were impressed by…read morehow professional Taylor was when he did some snowplowing for us last winter, and called them for a price.  Jon and Taylor gave us a very reasonable quote and did the job in about two and a half days with their great team grinding up the stumps a couple of weeks later. The equipment they use is incredible.  Jon ran the robotic controlled machine which was very safe, a concern for me and my wife.  The machine lifted up a tree to take off tension, then a worker cut the trunk near the ground with chain saw.  THe robotic arm then lifted the very tall tree up and over the power lines, then held the tree near the ground where workers trimmed off the branches for grinding, and chopped the trunks into six feet lengths.  They took all debris away and left us the logs (at our request) so friends who heat with wood could chop and split.  We were so impressed and would hire them in a heartbeat. They were also very flexible; after cutting down the original trees we requested, we decided to add on a few more.  Jon and Taylor helped us determine which trees should be cut down: those which were close to power lines, those that were dead, those which would die within five years and some to clear a path and space for a building.  The end result was better than we had envisioned.

Today the workers showed up on my property at 1200 and walked around for a while and promptly left. At 2:00 I called and was informed that the workers had decided cutting the trees was not "within their scope". That is actually what they said. Apparently they only cut down trees if the work is extremely simple and easy. If it was easy, I would do it myself. What kind of a tree service leaves a customer hanging like this?

They did a good job cleaning out my house and putting stuff in boxes. But they did a terrible job cleaning my items. All they did was put the furniture Through the ozone machine and did not clean my big furniture. I recently bought a new bedroom set and now it all smells like smoke. I have buckets of shoes and jackets outside for 2 weeks trying to air out but it won't come out. My coach purses are ruined. My table and chairs were not cleaned. My subwoofer was broken, bed handles were pulled so hard it tore, and my king hutch leg is gone. I believed in them, and they did me wrong. They didn't answer my emails back. They had all my stuff for 2 months. I would not recommend them. There's other companies out there that can help you with fire restoration. If anyone asked for a recommendation I would not recommend Taylor's. I still haven't heard a response from them. I asked Mat to come to my house to see the items that were broke. And the stuff that still smells like smoke, but no answer back. Now they told my insurance adjuster they are done with my house. Ahh no they are not. Daisy told my husband that this is a trial to see if it works (the ozone machine) if it doesn't to call her back. Well it didn't work and my stuff still smells like smoke. I gave them a chance to come back to my house to fix it, but they didn't want to. So please go with another company there is different companies out there, but make sure you look at reviews.

They consistently show up with no notice in the mornings after I am done working night shifts and expect us to wake up and move everything out of their way. I have been laying in bed asleep with no clothing on and they have barged into my room like it is a construction site, no knocking and I have had to ask them to let me get dressed and leave the room, and they act like it's an inconvenience to then that Im not on the same schedule as them when a simple phone call would've prevented the mess. I will be calling their manager and letting him know such atrocious people are representing his company.
