Overall, I was disappointed with the lounge. Even with a First Class upgaded ticket and atmost silver status I still had to pay $35 for access. The staff were friendly, and the food and drinks were basic, but the overall experience was not worth it. In hindsight, I would have been better off spending my $35 eating at a restaurant in the terminal or taking the shuttle to the Centurion Lounge, where I could have entered for free. What really ruined the experience was another guest who was visibly intoxicated and repeatedly yelling at the television during the England vs. Mexico match. He mistakenly assumed I was Mexican (I'm Pacific Islander) and directed comments toward me throughout the game. I thought the staff had removed him, but when I went to the quiet seating area to relax, he was there again continuing to be disruptive. The purpose of an airport lounge is to provide a peaceful, comfortable place to unwind before a flight. $65 for a day pass at gate 64 especially if you need to be at gate 69 to board Alaska Air to Hawaii...yes, please! This was my first time coming here on Friday, 7/3/2026, as a family of five which was 4 adults and one child. Unfortunately, there was no child admission, so everyone had to pay the same price which was $65 per person. Well worth it if you came early enough to rest & relax prior to your flight. We had fajitas and tortillas, various types of salads, coffee machine that served Stumptown Coffee, pancake maker, fruits such as apples and mandarin oranges, and snacks such as pretzels and cookies. There are restrooms available as well as soap and lotion from Salt & Stone. The ease of this airport lounge was both comfortable & convenient. If I were to wait a few hours for my flight, this is a great option rather than sitting at the gate, much better and really feels like you are on vacation. When I arrive early at LAX, I can always count on hanging out at the Alaska Lounge. They've upped their game with including a nice array of hot food for breakfast and lunch. Upon arrival, I enjoyed a mocha with some oatmeal and a blueberry muffin. For lunch, I had Kimchi fried rice, pork spring rolls and pulled pork in bulgogi sauce accompanied by coleslaw and a kale salad. Everything was tasty! I really enjoy this Alaska lounge! It's quite spacious and open compared to some of the other lounge setups I've seen (like the awkward two story lounge a at Seatac). The food is quite standard, and the buffet is well maintained. I frequent this Alaska lounge often as I fly in and out of LAX all the time, and I've never had trouble finding a spot to sit and relax. Checking into the lounge is quite easy as the lounge pass is linked to the boarding pass. Bartenders are incredibly nice, and the staff circle around frequently to tidy up the space. Now, I'm not expecting a gourmet meal here, however, I do expect some small variety of offerings, some of which include freshness, like a salad or crudités. The kitch thing here is the pancake machine. When it is working, it is great. But every time I've visited you need to continually ask staff to either refill or fix the issue to get it to working properly. Service is good, but you must go up to the bar every time you want something to drink. Not a big deal, just less convenient than other lounges. Ambiance is more utilitarian than comfortable. I arrived in the LAX airport and located this lounge. I was greeted by very friendly host, she is the reason I gave it an extra star. She was very apologetic, and sweet when saying " unfortunately." No priority pass, no day passes, and the people in front of me didn't "qualify" due to not being a connection lounge/ not having enough miles in their trip. Super confusing, and the host said if they or I were apart of the admiral club. Safe to say no luck at getting in. I have multiple ways to enter lounges, and this was a no. So there are lounges that are destinations in and of themselves (I'm looking at you Delta One Lounge at JFK), and then there are are lounges to simply pass the time in what is hopefully a more comfortable area than a loud airport terminal. The Alaska lounge at LAX falls in the latter category. It's... fine. It's kind of stylish, there's a bar, you have a view of the gates. But it's not a place that I would particularly seek out ahead of a flight. It's honestly, a bit underwhelming, As in most airport lounges, the food set up reminds you of a free breakfast set up that you'd see at any number of limited service hotels. Food in cold cafeteria trays or under heat lamps. Not exactly appetizing. However, I did grab a bagel and a pastry because I missed breakfast and I can honestly say it tasted better than it looked. The real disappointment, however, were the bathrooms. I HATE airport bathrooms and consider an elevated and hopefully more private bathroom experience the greatest perk of an airport lounge. These bathrooms felt like an airport terminal bathroom with slightly better soap. Major disappointment especially considering the cost of a business class international ticket which is the way most people gain access to the lounge. Where this lounge does shine is the customer service. The staff really are great. They do a good job of making this as comfortable as possible from a service perspective ahead of a flight. Suffice it to say, this is not my favorite lounge. Honestly, if it weren't so early and were I not so tired, I would have walked over to terminal 5 to access the centurion lounge. I still maintain that I prefer this lounge to actually sitting in the terminal... It's worth a visit ahead of a flight. I wouldn't expect much outside of that. read more

This was my first time in the club. I was blown away by the friendliness of the reception staff. We travel a partner airline, and have never been treated so well in any of their clubs. It was a refreshing change from what passes for service from other airlines. The club is small but comfortable. I enjoyed looking out on the tarmac as the November sun warmed the room. Everyone was chill with no noisy guests. They offer complimentary local beers and the current special cocktail. I ordered the Thanksgiving themed cocktail and the bartender offered a generous finger and thumb of bourbon in it. I did not try any of the food but they had fresh fruit and standard breakfast items available. read more

I purchased an Alaska+ Lounge Pass for my wife last year, I'm not sure if I'd do a lounge experience otherwise, it's only worth it if you travel enough and on the same airlines (Alaska/One World). This Alaska Lounge has its own bathroom, seating which isn't as crowded as a normal terminal gate. They have food including a pancake machine, soup, various finger foods and snacks. The food isn't the best ever but it gets the job done, and with airport restaurants/fast food these days you could also rack up a bill quickly if you don't know what you're doing. They have a coffee and tea bar, and a bar bar which can get free drinks (beer, wine and lower end liquors) but you can pay a little extra for premium beverages. Like many Alaska Lounges this one has its own WiFi which is pretty fast, password is pancakes. Bathroom is clean. If you have enough time it's not bad place to wait for your flight. Day passes can be purchased for $60 and if you have an Alaska Airlines Visa Card it's half that. Again, having purchased a year pass for my wife which includes 2 guests, when I go I try to get our money's worth getting at least a couple alcoholic drinks at the bar, a latte, working the food station. Among other things since my wife doesn't drink alcohol, she's not sure if it's as worth it, so I'm not sure if I'll renew the lounge year pass for her, but I think we went enough to make it worth it. read more

It's O.K. It's definitely on the low end of the lounge circuit in the States as far the amenities it has but can, on occasion, be a welcome respite from other more crowded spaces at the airport. Alaska Lounges are mostly functional affairs. With the exception of the newish flagship lounge in Seattle's N gates, all of them are very simple spaces with a few snacks, soups, and drinks. Don't come here and expect entrees like you would at international lounges or AMEX's Centurions - this is strictly a party platter + booze affair. This being said, I have ended up at this lounge more than once after nearby lounges have been too packed to allow me to properly chill out. Often (but not always) this lounge is lighter on the total number of people hanging out and that makes it an occasional go to in my travels. You'll definitely want to choose this lounge over the AA Admiral's Club if you have the choice because those are all universally terrible. read more

The ground staff that worked today (12/8/2025) at T6 LAX under Alaska Airlines specifically in the tag/bag drop area. The bag drop process was horrible, the Alaska on the ground team were pretty rude. After I tagged my bag I walked to the bag drop and the rep stopped me and refused to let me pass without seeing the tag on my bag. He was very condescending and rude, the opposite of helpful. I recently traveled with my husband and toddler on Alaska Airlines on December 7th, flying first class from Las Vegas to Liberia, Costa Rica, with a several-hour layover at LAX. During that time, I chose to use the Alaska Airlines lounge due to its proximity to our gate. I am a physician and had operated the entire day prior, followed by a 4 a.m. wake-up to make our flight. By the time we reached the lounge, I was understandably exhausted. I have traveled extensively and have used many airport lounges worldwide, including the American Express Centurion Lounge, the British Airways First Class Lounge at Heathrow, and the Turkish Airlines Lounge. In all my years of travel, I have never encountered an issue with briefly resting or reclining, and many lounges even have designated quiet or rest areas. Upon entering the Alaska Airlines lounge, I noted there were no designated rest sofas or loungers, but there were also no signs indicating that resting or laying down was prohibited. After we ate, my family moved to a quieter section where there was a couch. I laid down for a moment while my husband and son were nearby and our bags were right next to us. Within seconds, I was abruptly awakened by an older employee named Frances, who tapped me forcefully on the shoulder several times and spoke to me in an unnecessarily harsh and embarrassing manner, saying, "You can't sleep here. Get up, get up. You're taking up too much space." This occurred in front of other guests, several of whom looked visibly uncomfortable with her behavior. My husband and I were stunned. One of the guests seated nearby even commented to us afterward that the employee's conduct was inappropriate. Although I remained calm for the sake of my child, I felt deeply disrespected and shamed by how the situation was handled. I called ahead to make sure that I would be allowed to purchase a day pass for my fiance to have thanksgiving breakfast before our flight. The person who answered said it would be no issue. We left 2 hours early based on this call. When we got there the woman refused us, said they are all out of day passes. I explained the situation that I called ahead and she didn't care, mind you the lounge was empty. Two lovely people, one of them admirals club offered to allow us to be their guests, and she wouldn't allow us to be their guests. It would have been absolutely no sweat off her back to allow either situation to take place and salvage the situation, but she absolutely refused. Comfortable with a full bar. This lounge is definitely one of the smallest lounges here at LAX but it has what you need. The pancakes are my favorite, but the machine is currently broken. If you have the Alaska credit card, the day pass is $30. The price is totally worth it for a relaxing environment, open bar and food. read more

I'm spoiled and I did it to myself! I decided that I was done w/ the hoards of unwashed peasants found in airports and finally broke down and got membership to the Alaska Lounge. (really, I'm usually the unwashed peasant) I'm sure I'll find some way to make this a tax deduction... I'm so glad I did this because my flight was repeatedly delayed and I ended up spending a couple of hours in the lounge. This meant that I got to try a few different items because every time they replaced an empty food item they slipped in something different. My first surprise was that I REALLY liked the soups! I know they're mass produced somewhere but damn - they were delicious! And I'm not normally a soup person. I made a quick list of the food I saw while there: Mediterranean plate items (pita, hummus, etc) Mexican meatball soup Mac n cheese Turkey sausage lasagna soup Fudge/cookie dough thing Chicken Poblano pepper soup Tomato basil bisque Stale chocolate chip cookies I'm going to be doing a lot of flying this year so I'm stoked to have chosen this indulgence. The employees were great, the cocktails were great, and best of all - there's no tipping! Glancing over the hater reviews I'm reminded that I'm not really spoiled. I was in heaven. This is a standard lounge. It has plenty of seating, but food is highly lacking. Additionally, per California law, they don't serve alcohol here until 6am. The food was fine, and they did had clean restrooms and seating. Staff were also friendly and helpful. Admirals Club members or Emerald OneWorld members are able to access these lounges. They don't announce any boarding information in this lounge which would be nice so people don't have to check their phones. Overall, decent and clean lounge, sub-par food, and friendly staff. Pretty decent airport lounge, very close to all the Alaska airlines. I'd say the food offering is a bit smaller than other ones I've been to, but it was pretty empty both times I've visited. I was able to get in because I purchased first class ticket, but they did verify it wasn't an upgraded ticket. The thing that confused me was they have a "taco bar" right now. Turns out all the ingredients are in the fridge next to the rice! I spent way too long confused and wondering if I was simply meant to slather soup over the rice as a "taco bowl". XD They have a fountain drink machine, tea, coffee, and a bar, so plenty of hydrating and unhydrating options, as well as some food you can order if you want for $10. I didn't order food or drink so I can't speak much to that. The people working there were super friendly and helpful when I asked for anything. The bathrooms are pretty nice, fairly clean. One of the toilets was a bit over eager to flush, but better than under eager I guess?? You place your own dishes into a dish cleaning tub between the buffet and the bar. All the lounge seats have charging, although some middle normal seats do not. All in all a pretty good rest spot! It's not as credit card friendly as some other lounges but a nice spot, and currently you can get in for $25 if you really need to rest! read more

The cleanliness and available seating was spot on, but the selection of food items was a joke! Soup and salad and a tiny bun turkey and cheese finger sandwich. Some cookies as well. First things first: it's BS that Alaska Airlines stopped accepting Priority Pass...then started accepting it again during COVID when they were struggling to get anyone in the lounges and then, when business picked up, dropped Priority Pass AGAIN. Now, on to the lounge. Had I not been to the Anchorage and Seatac Alaska Airlines lounges, this would be a 3-4 star review. But I've been to them. They suck. They are always overcrowded. They always have mediocre food (big Holiday Inn "continental breakfast" energy). It's often impossible to get a seat. The drink selection is just OK. Not the case here! This place is tranquil. It's downright peaceful! The food is a cut above! All the beers are CRAFT BEER FROM CALIFORNIA. All the chargers actually fucking work! You can actually sit in a fucking CHAIR! People were falling asleep and weren't getting fucking shaken awake (this happened to be in Seatac where you aren't allowed to sleep in the lounge). Top it off off with clean, fresh bathrooms and incredibly attentive and friendly staff. This lounge is so good I would straight-up pay for a day-pass! read more
