Their clothes are quality, the gals in there are super friendly, and the selection is awesome! It is kinda spendy, but again, you are buying quality stuff! I walked out wIth a blazer, sweater and a pair of shoes for just over $300. The *only* downside to this store is it's location. If it was more convenient, maybe I would have stopped in sooner!

It's on the smaller end and I only found one or two things that match with my style a bit better, but I loved looking around. I think I would recommend this place if you had more of a vintage style. They have several curtains in the back to make some dressing rooms if you want to try things on. 4 stars simply because the selection was smaller and just not my style and I was mostly ignored during my venture throughout the store. My "winter boots" were Uggs and were definitely not sufficient for the extreme cold. A team member helped me select a Baffin boot 3 sizes larger than my typical shoe size. I had no idea they ran so small. You should really try on boots in-person as opposed to online, and Prospectors had the largest selection of boots I've seen at an outdoors store in Fairbanks. I'm happy and my feet shouldn't get frostbite thanks to Prospectors. Go check them out!

Checkout was quick, and the line moved smoothly thanks to the helpful cashiers. I also appreciated the wide selection of items, from groceries to household goods, all in one convenient location. Overall, it felt efficient, welcoming, and stress-free -- exactly what you hope for in a shopping trip. Definitely a positive experience that makes me want to return.

Poor management 1. Parking lot lights are full on in the…read moremiddle of the day. Does somebody not notice that it's daylight 23 hours a day right now? Maybe controlled from Arkansas; but that doesn't count for poor management and spending the money which just means higher prices for everybody else. 2. They should probably stop selling bedding plants and flowers. They don't seem to have the staffing to water the plants ( a demanding eight hour job). My wife bought two nice fuchsia baskets for $40. We went back to get more, most of them were dead, still marked at the full price. A few might have been worth risking at five dollars but not at half price. All of the plants against the building across the drive-by from the area in the parking lot where the rest of the plants are were unwatered. They also don't seem to have the staffing. They frequently don't have the Garden center customer door open and the register staffed. That means that if you're just there to buy plants, you have to pick the plants up and carry them quite a ways into the store and then back out after you purchased them. Just seems like all around poor management

My only criticism is that the pegs in the dressing room are too small! If you have more than a few hangers they can easily fall off. Hooks would be an appreciated improvement. You also need to be quick if you want to be able to drop off consignment! That's not the store's fault, word has just spread about this gem of a store. I'd also like to say that I haven't had a bad customer service experience while there. I understand that some people may have differing personalities, and some people may want more direct customer service but as someone who enjoys being able to shop without having an employee always checking in, I appreciate that this store let customers do their own thing while shopping. Also, I've learned that the best way to see the most up to date hours is to check their Instagram account.

A brand new north face winter jacket for $200 or Lululemon jackets for 65$ when the same one online is the same price on sale. My biggest shock was seeing used xenana tops with brand new priced used! They aren't even high end tops $36 for a tank top that's stretched out? Online boutique price for the same top was 25-30$ (some of which on sale due to it being winter and nobody is in tank tops in Alaska right now) Even shoes that were discolored were pricey. I really was excited to see a second hand store but will sadly avoid due to prices.
