I mentioned that I have a peanut allergy, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure I felt safe. They took the time to thoroughly clean their work surfaces and were very careful with food preparation, which gave me a lot of confidence. On top of that, everyone was exceptionally kind, welcoming, and attentive. It's clear they genuinely care about their customers. Crepes were just mediocre. Have to walk up and order and spend 20 minutes in the rain waiting for a crepe and cold hot chocolate. Of course their pay system gears toward 20% tip and they don't tell you about the 20 minute wait until you've paid. After 20 minutes, they called my name for my hot chocolate but then he got so busy. He didn't give it to me for another 10 minutes and then I had to wait an extra 10 minutes for my crêpe. This really wasn't worth it. They had somebody else's order completely fouled up. They had been sitting there for a half hour and finally left. Yeah. Not terribly impressed. read more

I ordered the monkey business and my fiancé ordered the cinnamon roll crepe. I have to say this is an amazing place. The service is 5 star and I love to see an open kitchen as it leaves nothing to question. The crew works like a well oiled machine. They are fast and on a consistent pace pumping out some of the best food in Juneau. If you want savory just make sure you state you want it lite on the sauce. This is the only issue with the food is the sauce overpowering the crepes. I have tried most items on the menu and if it was bbq the sauce was just too much and filled the bottom of the crepe. I just had the cinnamon roll and the cream cheese was heavy handed with the same issue. With outdoor seating two blocks away from the dock you can't go wrong! read more

Giving it 3 stars because the staff was very sweet and the crepe came out fast...but I'd hardly call it a crepe. 1) they are pre made, they just add toppings 2) the batter is like an undercooked pancake. Located in a small outdoor food court/stand area, this spot is seemingly one of the more affordable places to eat in the downtown Juneau area. This is probably why they're so busy! The same goes for their neighboring food stands! I had a BBQ chicken crepe and an Americano as a late afternoon snack before leaving downtown. They sell both sweet and savory crepes, as well as coffee and smoothies. My crepe was hot and fresh and had a good amount of filling it it. I'd recommend the BBQ chicken if you enjoy savory crepes. They also had a pizza one that sounded good too but I had had pizza for lunch already that day! All the food stands share a common seating area which was pretty full when we arrived. We ended up finding seats at the end of another party's table to quickly eat our food. When we left there were others waiting around for our spot. read more

Total tourist trap. Totally worth it. Little walk up shack in an outdoor food court of sorts. Handmade BIG crepes made to order and served kind of like conical burritos. They have both savory and sweet versions. One night after a rousing bout of karaoke at the Alaskan Hotel Bar, we stopped here on the way back to our hotel for their night menu...and had one sweet and one savory each. Perfect thing that hit the spot in just the right way after a night in a saloon. The next day, before our trip started, the four of us came for dessert and, once again, enjoyed what we ate. The best crepe I've ever had was near the Eiffel Tower in Paris. The second best crepe? From Alaskan Crepe Escape! A must stop in Juneau if you're walking around the port. It's easy to miss so I'm glad I spotted someone eating a crepe and asked them where it was from. The crepe skin is just perfectly thin and not too thick or cakey. Dave has a great collection of eateries on this outdoor, welcoming piece of property with lots of tables. We discovered that he purchased the land when a building burned down, and he's created this awesome space that includes his fish tacos, another eatery that serves oysters and champagne, a bar in a boat that had a bartender whose smile was something special, and the Crepe Escape. First we tried the Capital City, a hearty and delicious mixture of tender chicken, pesto, and cheese. We split that between 3 people as a snack - yum! Then we went shopping and exploring, finally returning for more crepes for our dinner! This time I had the BBQ Pulled Pork, which had tender, delicious pork, cheese, and plenty of BBQ sauce (no need to get a side of sauce). Food was fantastic!! We were visiting the area and wanted to get something that wasn't cruise food after our hike. The woman with braids who was working both the register and the pick-up station was at first slightly impolite, but as I also work in the service industry, it was an understandable amount. She became extremely unprofessional after this, and we became more aware of her overall inability of even faking politeness to customers. When I stood at the incorrect window to receive my order, she yelled "IM AT THIS WINDOW IF ANYOME WANTS THEIR FOOD" (obviously directed as I was the only customer there) and did not look any member of my party in the eye. After these interactions she would yelp and dance around instead of assisting waiting guests. I did not have a Yelp account before this but again as someone in the service industry I was appalled. read more
