Such good coffee. Here on a cruise and wanted to stop for some caffeine. Atmosphere and service are wonderful.

Delicious coffees and great breakfast options. A waffle topped with strawberries is my breakfast favorite. Popped in for lunch and discovered the magic of tachos (tater-tot nachos) that are awesome.

Visiting Juneau we took the city bus (only $2 ) to Auke Bay in hope to see some whales . No whales but SO many Eagles!! It was low tide and we were able to walk along a very wide muscles strewn beach. It was beautiful!! After our walk the rain came in (surprise) and we ducked into Auke bay cafe got a wonderful late lunch. Spicy fries, sweet potatoe fries, chili, cod sandwich, cod fish fry, it was all fantastic! Great service and delivery of our food and an amazing view of the bay and the eagles flying around. I'd show you some pictures but we ate it all immediately

Best breakfast, coffee and icecream sandwiches. My daughter found this place and we gave it a try. Great service, large portions, lots of tables with a great view.

This is a diner. No frills, no pretense. It's not cheap either (but not much in Juneau is). That said, you get a lot of food for the price and the view is good. Plus you order at the counter so you don't have to include a full tip. We had breakfast. Everyone liked everything really. I'm not sure you can go wrong.

Crepes were fast and fantastic! Served/barista was busy, but kind and offered local recs.

After years of mismanagement as a Waffle House, I think this place has a chance now. I am pleased with the quesadilla and the coffee too.. if it's empty now it's not because of poor service, rather it's likely from overcoming a reputation from the distant past.

My boyfriend ordered the loco moco and said it wasn't good at all. When he called to place the order, the girl who answered the phone didn't even seem to know how to put an order in, which made the process unnecessarily long and frustrating. What completely sealed the deal for me, though, was reading the owner's responses to negative reviews. Instead of addressing concerns professionally or taking accountability, the owner's replies come across as rude, defensive, and borderline hostile. Customers are talked down to, blamed, or dismissed for their experiences. As someone who reads reviews before returning to a restaurant, seeing an owner respond this way is extremely off-putting and makes it clear that customer feedback is not valued here. Between the poor food quality, disorganized service, and the owner's unprofessional behavior online, we will not be coming back.

We opted in for the $10 shuttle to downtown Hoonah and it stopped right infront of this place. The staff was very friendly and recommended the burrito, which my husband got. We also got 2 coffees that were great and we continued to drink them as we explored the jetty. The layout was perfect; we opted in to sit inside but they also have seats outside.

It took a while to get our food and the beer battered halibut was not as tender as I would have liked, but the meal was tasty. They also serve espresso, coffee, and tea. There is another window that serves beer. This is a great place to stop after you've walked along the shoreline from your cruise ship. You can also buy some swag to remember it by!

Although I wasn't a guest at the Glacier Bay Lodge, it was actually my AirB&B Host who suggested I make a reservation for dinner first thing in the morning when I arrived at the lodge. And...btw, Glacier Bay Lodge is the departure point for boat trips out on the waters of Glacier Bay. The dock area is located right in the rear of the lodge. I was fortunate enough to grab a 6:15pm reservation, though this was for one of the last weekends of the tourism season, at the end of August. Also, one more thing, lol...to explore Glacier National Park...by boat is the only way it can be navigated. The National Park Services in conjunction with the Glacier Bay Lodge offers one, 8 hour excursion from 8am - 4pm every day throughout the summer season. The website for boat tours is: https://www.visitglacierbay.com/tours/glacier-bay-day-tour/ So, it just efficiently made sense to have dinner here at the Fairweather Dining Room after finishing seeing Glacier Bay. I would also recommend to others out there to take the day boat tour and come here for dinner. Almost everyone on my tour was a familiar face eating inside the dining room afterwards. Another thing, lol, if you're not staying at Glacier Bay Lodge...then there's not many options to eat in the remote town of Gustavus. After dinner, my AirB&B Host was kind enough to pick me up at the lodge and drive me back to my cabin. Some details about this Fairweather Dining Room... - It had a cozy and rustic feel to it. There was a fireplace right nearby within the lodge. - The menu is limited to just a few options including salmon, halibut and fish and chips. There was also ribeye steak and a chicken dish. But, of course, when here on the Glacier Bay waters of the Inside Passage of Alaska...how can you not have seafood? I chose the halibut. According to the menu... "Baked Alaskan Halibut with lemon herb compound-butter, red-skinned garlic mashed potatoes, sauteed carrots and asparagus". As usual, it didn't eat heavy so I had room for dessert...a warm brownie with vanilla ice cream, drizzled caramel syrup and whipped cream (which wasn't even on the menu, but suggested by my server). Lastly, I had a decent view of the boating dock pier though the whole day was dampened by cloudy, foggy and tough conditions outside. Overall, eating here at the Fairweather Dining Room was still a rewarding way to end my visit to Glacier Bay National Park. I really liked the food, service and charming setting.
