I like that they offer freshly baked pastries to go along with various coffee drinks they serve. This is a standard coffee shop that doesn't have a dining room. It's all window service. They're located directly across from the tram in downtown Juneau. Perfect for grabbing a coffee and pastry before heading up the tram or walking Franklin Street in downtown Juneau. I didn't try their coffee yet. I may grab a cup before heading out of town tomorrow. Each visit I bought a baked goodie for a dessert or breakfast option. I like that their baked goods are individually wrapped and neatly placed in plastic cubby hole containers directly fly in from of their coffee stand. It's grab and go. Don't forget to pay before you go! Each staff member I spoke with has been friendly. They come across as polite too. Not the "just pay your bill and leave us alone"mentality. I recommend this place as a coffee or coffee and pastry option. They're reasonably priced as well. Will visit again before I leave town.

My ship was docked about a twenty-five-minute walk away. However, it was such a cool concept, I had to check it out. The store is staffed by members of the Indigenous community and is owned by the council of the Indigenous tribes local to this part of Alaska. All of the staff are members of the tribe, and the girl who served us was so sweet. She shared plenty of tips that we used later on our trip and just made a good conversation partner. The Italian soda I had was delicious, and I wish I would have stopped for some additional snacks.

Instead of addressing concerns professionally or taking accountability, the owner's replies come across as rude, defensive, and borderline hostile. Customers are talked down to, blamed, or dismissed for their experiences. As someone who reads reviews before returning to a restaurant, seeing an owner respond this way is extremely off-putting and makes it clear that customer feedback is not valued here. Between the poor food quality, disorganized service, and the owner's unprofessional behavior online, we will not be coming back.
