    Leeks & salad

We had an amazing dinner at Alba! We started off with three appetizers: - Leek Confit - Nopales & Beet salad - Spicy Marrow All three of these appetizers were simply amazing. Unique spices in a beautiful Mexican style! We had just stepped in for appetizers and Cerveza but realized we should stay & eat dinner at Alba too! For our second course we ordered: - Octopus - Gnocchi Huazontie & Hongas - Chuleta de Lomo de Cerdo (Pork) The octopus & gnocchi were both simply amazing. Both were incredibly unique. The pork was good but the sauce & spices were wonderful. In truth we ordered 1 dish too many! The staff is friendly and speak some English. We highly recommend Alba!

I came here because my girlfriend suggested it. She was right, the food is fantastic. We had a salad (jitomates criollos) as an entrée. Delicious. Later, I ordered a tuétano (marrow). It was so tasty and abundant (actually, I shared it with my dog). Finally, we had pork rib eye (medium well). I liked it although salty. The services was very nice. The waitress was so kind, patient and explained the menu. In regards to the Price, it's up to you. I had a Mexican sake. It has a lot of flavor and aroma but this augmented the bill! Sincerely,

We went here on a whim just to grab some mezcal and apps, but were beyond impressed with our experience. Wait staff was extremely friendly. The chef was coincidentally next to us and took the time to explain his favorite dishes and inspiration, which showed his genuine passion for the food he created. On top of that the food had some of the best flavors that I have ever experienced. We tried the tataki, ricotta, and artichoke soup which I highly recommend. Surprised that there aren't more reviews and a line out the door! A must try in Mexico City for sure.

Avocado toast with just the right amount of spice

Incredible service, absolutely delicious food, lovey ambiance! We got the cappuccino, huevos alba, avocado toast, and concha. Couldn't have asked for a more lovely experience. The staff was very attentive. The street is lined with gorgeous trees

Fantastic little surprise. Inviting unpretentious space with outstanding menu offerings. Must try if in the mood for bright creative takes on Mexican cuisine. Not to mention the service was outstanding and chef Alex, humble and friendly, frequented all the tables at each course. So enjoyed every aspect of both meals we chose to have here within just one weekend, despite all the other amazing options in CDMX. Hope to be back again soon.

This was such a lovely place to eat on a Saturday morning. The restaurant itself is pretty, nice, and open, which I really liked. The food was delicious, fresh, and tasty. I really enjoyed eating here and would definitely recommend checking it out.

A wonderful, intimate little restaurant with excellent flavors.

A wonderful, intimate little restaurant with excellent flavors. An amazing cocktail with strawberry, nacho chili liquor, mezcal. Complimentary bread with a lovely chili and peanut molé. A tempura dish with orgasm inducing ancho chili molé, mustard seeds, and cheese shavings. Definitely a good destination for foodies.

Great recommendation by our Eat Mexico guide, Ariane, who studied gastronomy at university. This restaurant is definitely up and coming. Perfect for our last night in Mexico City. We don't speak Spanish so both the chef and the co owner explained the dishes to us. They were both so nice and friendly. Lots of creativity and experimentation and it was all delicious. Big portions so bring your appetite. Go early since they can run out of the bone marrow. Instead of a butter spread for the bread, there was a roasted chili sauce with peanuts in it which was a nice touch. We enjoyed the quinoa at the bottom of the chilled avocado soup. The vanilla and dashi definitely added depth to soup. I couldn't stop eating it. The highlight of the tomato salad was the preserved peaches. The pulpo was tender and pared well with the caramelized onions and potato/black bean. It was better than Pujol (which was overly charred). It was huge portion of ribs, tender and juicy with a good amount of fat on it. It went well with their sweet mustard. Highly recommend if you want to eat somewhere more innovative and relaxed than Quintonil or Pujol.

This small bakery is off on a side street and the only reason why I found it was because I just happened to be close to exchanging money. In fact there are at least five or six other small restaurants on the same street. I bought just a single Danish that had some type of pineapple filling. There were so many more like strawberry and orange that were equally tempting. I already knew I wasn't going to go for some heavy chocolate pastry or even a concha for that matter. Calories are important these days and I think I made the right choice with the pineapple danish. The first bite is awesome!

And they took my order w/ no problem. They were super nice. Place is super clean and they have good music. So atmosphere pretty cool, great spot to meet friends and hang out or just have a tea, latte, coffee whatever. Crêpe was good but not the best I've had, the dough was thick for my taste and apparently at this spot all the Crêpes have cream cheese. Make sure to tell them no cream cheese if you are lactose intolerant. I asked if they could please remake it because I was lactose intolerant and they fix it with no charge. I was so happy and the fact that they had an amazing attitude made the Crepe taste better. Other than this place is awesome Muchas gracias por sus atenciones y las delicias.

They have the recepie down pat, and they have always been fast with their service. Since it was such a nice day, I decided to sit outside on their patio. They also have great coffees and teas, but this time I just settled in a bottle of mineral water. They always serve up great breakfast and lunch options, and I like to come by here whenever I am working in the neighborhood. Not all of these locations are the same, and the food and service vary greatly. My last experience at their place near Condessa was not that great. However, this place treated me right, and the service was much more nice and personable. This is the reason why I prefer to come here.

I asked if I could trade it out for something else because I did not like the taste. They went and asked the manager and came back to tell me they would not do it. I had drank maybe 10% of it. That's a shame because it really would not have cost them anything. They need to learn customer service is everything. Though all other items were good, they get 3 stars for bad customer service. Had they traded out the mocha that tasted nothing like a mocha, this would have been at least a 4 star review.
